0:20 It is truly an excellent place of prayer.

0:24 An excellent place of prayer.

0:28 What are the mosques to which one should undertake a journey?

0:35 And what are the places that the Antichrist (Al-Masih ad-Dajjal) will not enter?

0:39 This is an important question.

0:42 It consists of two parts.

0:44 And to answer it,

0:46 We seek the help of Allah and say:

0:49 Indeed, among the virtues of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque

0:52 Is that it is one of the three preferred mosques

0:56 To which journeys are not undertaken except to them

0:59 With the intention of worshipping Allah, the Glorified and Exalted.

1:03 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

1:06 That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

1:10 "Journeys are not to be undertaken except to three mosques:

1:14 The Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid al-Haram),

1:16 The Mosque of the Messenger, peace be upon him,

1:20 And the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

1:22 This is a magnificent hadith.

1:25 It increases the loftiness, status, and high standing of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

1:30 For its mention has been joined with the best of mosques absolutely,

1:35 In the singling out of monotheism and the sincerity of intention for Allah, the Glorified and Exalted.

1:40 And the moving and traveling from one place to another

1:44 With the intention of worship.

1:46 The scholar Al-Baghawi, may Allah have mercy on him, clarified

1:49 The reason for specifying these mosques in particular by saying:

1:53 "The specification of these mosques is because they are the mosques of the prophets, may the prayers of Allah be upon them,

2:00 And we have been commanded to follow their guidance."

2:03 Allah, the Glorified and Exalted, said:

2:06 "So follow their guidance."

2:08 In this hadith is the virtue of these three mosques,

2:13 And the virtue of undertaking journeys to them,

2:16 Because its meaning, according to the majority of scholars, is:

2:20 There is no virtue in undertaking a journey to any mosque other than them.

2:24 In this hadith is the virtue of these mosques and their superiority over others,

2:31 Due to them being the mosques of the prophets,

2:34 And because the first is the qibla of the people and the destination of their Hajj,

2:38 The second was the qibla of the nations of the past,

2:42 And the third was founded upon piety.

2:46 This hadith confirms the exclusivity of these mosques in our Sharia,

2:52 Their importance, and their deep-rooted connection,

2:55 And that they are the best of mosques absolutely,

2:59 Until they have become like sisters, inseparable from one another.

3:05 Many of the Companions, the Tabi'un,

3:08 And those who came after them, translated this hadith into practice,

3:12 And undertook journeys to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

3:16 These sacred mosques, to which it is recommended to undertake journeys,

3:22 And for which hardships are endured,

3:25 And expenses are spent in visiting them and praying in them to attain the reward and merit,

3:31 One should sacrifice the precious and the priceless for their sake and in the path of preserving them.

3:38 One must not neglect any of them at all.

3:42 The aforementioned hadith confirms a very important truth,

3:48 Which we have mentioned and repeated often:

3:51 That the connection to Al-Aqsa Mosque is one of creed and a religious attachment,

3:57 And its relationship is one of faith with the general body of Muslims,

4:02 And it is not a fleeting or temporary connection.

4:05 For the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, linked its value, its blessing, its status, and its sanctity

4:12 With its two siblings: the Sacred Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

4:17 Among the merits, characteristics, and virtues of the Al-Aqsa Mosque

4:21 Is that it is one of four mosques that the Antichrist will not enter

4:26 When he appears at the end of time,

4:29 As in the authentic hadith.

4:32 A man from the Ansar says:

4:34 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, stood among us and said:

4:39 "I warn you of the Antichrist, and he is blind in one eye."

4:44 He said, "I think he said the left one."

4:47 "With him will travel mountains of bread and rivers of water.

4:51 His sign is that he will remain on earth for forty mornings.

4:56 His authority will reach every watering place.

4:59 He will not enter four mosques:

5:02 The Kaaba, the Mosque of the Messenger,

5:05 The Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Mount (At-Tur).

5:09 And whatever the case may be,

5:11 Know that Allah is not one-eyed."

5:15 And the Mount, or the Mosque of the Mount,

5:18 Is a blessed place in the Levant (Ash-Sham).

5:21 A number of exegetes have mentioned

5:24 That it is the Mount by which Allah, the Almighty, swore,

5:28 When He said, "And by Mount Sinai."

5:31 And Al-Qurtubi said in his Tafsir:

5:34 "He swore by this mountain

5:37 Because it is in the Levant and the Holy Land,

5:40 And Allah, the Exalted, has blessed both of them," as He said.

5:44 “Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.” (17:1)

5:49 Thus, the Al-Aqsa Mosque becomes a sanctuary for the people from the Antichrist at the end of time,

5:56 So its virtue, status, and sanctity remain until Allah, the Almighty, wills.

6:04 This is a confirmation of the right of the believing Muslims to it,

6:08 The followers of the prophets and the enemies of the Antichrist and those with him.

6:13 Here is an important indication in his, peace be upon him, mentioning the places that the Antichrist will not enter,

6:21 For it contains an encouragement to seek protection in them and to take refuge in them.

6:26 They are the fortress of the believers, their stronghold, their tranquility, and their starting point,

6:31 And the place of leadership for the Ummah in times of trials and tribulations.

6:36 So the Ummah should not neglect a place that is among the greatest of places in status and sanctity before Allah.

6:46 An excellent place of prayer.

6:48 We are a sun that does not set.
