▶ A summary of the life of the Salaf between words and deeds | Episode (14) | The position of the predecessors regarding faith and destiny
If God had punished the people of His heavens and the people of His earth, He would have punished them, and He is not unjust to them, and if He had had mercy on them, His mercy would have been better for them. Of their deeds, even if you had a mountain of Uhud in gold or something like the mountain of Uhud to spend in the path of God, it would not be accepted from you until you believe in predestination and then you know. That what befalls you was not going to miss you, and that what missed you was not going to befall you, and that if you die in a state other than this, you will enter Hell.

▶ A summary of the life of the Salaf between words and deeds | Episode (14) | The position of the predecessors regarding faith and destiny
I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: If God had punished the people of His heavens and the people of His earth, He would have punished them, although He was not unjust. And if He had had mercy on them, His mercy would have been better for them than their deeds. And if you had gold as much as Uhud, or gold as the mountain of Uhud. You spend in the cause of God what has come before you until you believe in destiny and know that what has befallen you would not have caused you to miss, and that what has missed you would not have missed you. It may happen to you, and if you die other than this, you will enter Hell.
