5:49 Harun al-Farwi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

5:52 "I have not heard anyone among the scholars of Madinah and the people of the Sunnah

5:57 except that they denounce anyone who says:

6:01 'The Qur'an is created,'

6:03 and they declare him a disbeliever."

6:05 He added, "And I hold to this Sunnah."

6:10 "And whoever hesitates regarding the Qur'an,

6:13 and does not say it is uncreated,

6:16 is like one who said it is created."

6:19 'Abd al-Malik Ibn al-Majishun, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

6:23 "I heard those I met among our scholars saying:

6:27 'The Qur'an is the speech of Allah, not created.'"
