Pray the Fajr prayer, then shorten the prayer until the sun rises to the point of a spear, for it rises when it rises between the horns of Satan, and then the disbelievers prostrate to it. Then pray, for the prayer is witnessed and present until the shadow is carried by the spear. Then shorten the prayer, for at that time Hell boils. If the rain comes, pray, then the prayer is witnessed and present until it reaches the afternoon, then shorten the prayer until the sun sets, for it sets between the horns of Satan, and then the disbelievers prostrate to it.

There is no man among you who approaches his ablution, rinsing his mouth, sniffing, and sprinkling except that the sins of his face, mouth, and nostrils fall out. Then when he washes his face as God has commanded him, the sins of his face fall out from the tips of his beard with the water. Then he washes his hands up to the elbows, except that the sins of his hands fall out from his fingertips with the water. Then he wipes his head, except that the sins of his head fall out from the ends of his hair with the water. Then he washes his feet to the ankles, except that the sins of his feet fall out from his fingertips with the water. If he stands up, So he prayed and thanked God Almighty, praised Him, glorified Him with what He deserved, and emptied his heart for God Almighty until he turned away from his sin, just as he was in the same way he was on the day his mother gave birth to him.

If God Almighty wanted to have mercy on a nation, He took away its prophet before it, and made it a privilege and advance for it in its hands, and if He wanted a nation to perish, He punished it while its prophet was alive, then He destroyed it while it was alive and watching, so His eye was aware of its destruction when they lied to him and disobeyed His command.

▶ Summary of the Prophet’s biography | Episode (16) | The waning of the revelation and its revelation again
The first revelation that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, began with was a good vision in sleep, and he would not see a vision except that it came like the breaking of dawn. Then the seclusion came to him, and he would be alone in Cave Har, and he would be devout in it, which is the number of nights of worship before he would go to his family and provide for that. Then he would return to Khadija and provide for something like it, until the truth came to him while he was in Cave Har, and the king came to him and said, “Read.” Then he sent me and said, “Read.” I said, “I am not a reader,” so he took me and pressed me for the second time until I was exhausted, then he sent me and said, “Read,” and I said, “I am not a reader.” Then he took me and pressed me for the third time, then he sent me and said, “Read in the name of your Lord who created. He created man from a clot. Read. And your Lord is Most Generous, who taught with the pen. He taught man what he did not know.” So the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, returned with it, his heart shaking. He went in to Khadija bint Khuwaylid, may God be pleased with her, and he said, “Zoom me, zum me.” So they hugged him until the fear went away from him, so he said to Khadija and told her the news, so he said, “I feared for myself.” Khadija, may God be pleased with her, said, “No, by God, God will never disgrace you. You are related to relatives, you bear all, you earn the poor, you treat the guest, and you help in the calamities of truth.”

When they wanted to place the stone, they quarreled over its placement, so they said, “The first one to leave this door is the one who puts it.” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out from before the gate of Bani Shaybah and ordered a garment to be spread out. He placed the stone in its middle. Then he ordered a man from each thigh of the Quraysh to take the side of the garment, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took it in his hand and placed it.

My nurse was one of the sons of Saad bin Bakr, so I and her son set off for us. We did not take any provisions with us, so I said, “Brother, go and bring us some provisions from our mother.” So my brother set off and I stayed with the tribe. Then two white vultures came flying, and one of them said to his companion, “Ah, yes,” and he said, “Yes,” and he came running to me. They took me, so he flattened me to the back of the neck and split open my stomach. Then he extracted my heart and split it open, so he took out of it two black leeches, and one of them said to its owner, a stone, meaning an examiner’s line. He sealed it with the seal of prophethood, then he departed and left me, and I dispersed greatly. Then I went to my mother and told her about what I had met, so she feared that he would be a victim of me. She said, “I seek refuge in God.” So I took a camel for her, so she put me on a saddle and rode behind me until we reached my mother. She said, “I have fulfilled my trust and my duty,” and I told her about what I had met, but that did not frighten her, and she said, “I saw a light emerge from me, from which it illuminated the palaces of the Levant.”
