0:05 Satan beautifies falsehood.

0:12 When the hoopoe brought the certain news about the kingdom of Sheba to the Prophet of Allah, Solomon, peace be upon him,

0:19 he clarified that he found two matters objectionable about them.

0:24 The first is that the one ruling them is a woman.

0:28 The second is that they worship other than Allah.

0:33 Allah the Almighty says:

0:34 “I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fairseeming unto them, and debarreth them from the way (of Truth), so that they go not aright;” (27:24)

0:40 “I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fairseeming unto them, and debarreth them from the way (of Truth), so that they go not aright;” (27:24)

0:47 Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

0:51 He means:

0:52 I found this woman, the Queen of Sheba,

0:55 and her people from Sheba,

0:57 prostrating to the sun and worshipping it instead of Allah.

1:03 The hoopoe indeed found the people of Yemen from the kingdom of Sheba objectionable

1:07 for their prostration to the sun instead of Allah,

1:10 even though it is a creation just like them.

1:12 They only prostrated to it out of humility, veneration, and worship of it.

1:18 And this is polytheism (shirk),

1:19 which Allah sent the Messengers to fight against and to save people from.

1:24 And He sent down with them the Books,

1:26 which guide people to the worship of Allah, the One, the Overpowering.

1:32 And associating partners with Allah (shirk) is the most dangerous sin a person can commit,

1:36 because Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He,

1:39 will not forgive it if one does not repent from it before death.

1:43 Allah the Almighty says:

1:45 Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.

1:53 “Lo! Allah forgiveth not that a partner should be ascribed unto Him. He forgiveth (all) save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners to Allah, he hath indeed invented a tremendous sin.” (4:48)

1:58 And He, Glorified, says:

2:00 Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.

2:08 “Lo! Allah pardoneth not that partners should be ascribed unto Him. He pardoneth all save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners unto Allah hath wandered far astray.” (4:116)

2:14 And the polytheist will not enter Paradise if he dies upon polytheism.

2:19 Allah the Almighty says:

2:21 They have disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary.

2:27 And Christ said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord."

2:33 “They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah (himself) said: O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Lo! whoso ascribeth partners unto Allah, for him Allah hath forbidden paradise. His abode is the Fire. For evil-doers there will be no helpers.” (5:72)

2:41 And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.

2:45 And if polytheism is this dangerous,

2:48 then it is incumbent upon Muslims to be extremely cautious of falling into any form of polytheism.

2:56 And the Prophet of Allah, Abraham the Friend, peace be upon him,

3:00 the destroyer of idols,

3:01 feared for himself from polytheism.

3:04 So he would supplicate to Allah, saying:

3:07 "My Lord, make this city [Mecca] secure, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.

3:14 My Lord, they have led astray many of mankind."

3:20 So if the Prophet of Allah, Abraham the Friend,

3:23 feared for himself from worshipping idols,

3:27 then we are even more obligated to fear for ourselves from falling into polytheism

3:32 in any form.

3:35 And the forms of polytheism are not limited to worshipping idols and prostrating to them only.

3:41 That is one form of polytheism.

3:45 And there are other forms of polytheism that our Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He, warned us against.

3:51 Among them is His saying, the Almighty:

3:53 The Jews say, 'Uzayr is the son of Allah, and the Christians say, 'Al-Masih is the son of Allah.'

4:04 That is their saying with their mouths.

4:08 “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!” (9:30)

4:14 May Allah fight them! How are they deluded?

4:21 “They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!” (9:31)

4:43 There is no god but He.

4:48 Exalted is He above what they associate with Him.

4:55 Among the forms of associating partners with Allah is attributing offspring to Him, exalted is Allah above what they say.

5:02 And among the forms of associating partners with Allah is for people to take those who legislate for them contrary to Allah's law.

5:08 So they obey and follow them.

5:11 And people today have abandoned Allah's law.

5:14 So it is not applied among them except a little.

5:17 And they followed Western laws and resorted to them for judgment.

5:22 And they made them the basis for governing society, even if they contradicted Allah's law.

5:28 So whoever obeys them and turns away from Allah's law has associated partners with Allah.

5:33 And among the forms of associating partners with Allah is for a Muslim to believe that there are among the created beings

5:39 one who holds the power of benefit and harm in his hand, apart from Allah.

5:42 Or to make him like Allah, seeking benefit from him as one seeks to avert harm from him.

5:49 And this is among the associating of partners with Allah that Allah warned against in the Qur'an.

5:54 So He, the Exalted, said:

6:12 And entering into this picture today

6:17 is what is presented to people as energy sciences.

6:21 They believe that certain stones and certain actions bring energy to a person.

6:27 And this followed in the united societies.

6:32 And Allah likened

6:34 and informs us that he is from knowledge and a Muslim

6:37 and informs us that he is from knowledge and a Muslim

6:41 and informs us that he is from knowledge and a Muslim

6:44 and that negative energy is repelled from him, as they claim.

6:48 Rather, some of them have reached the point of atheism,

6:50 believing that they are capable of bringing themselves whatever good they desire

6:56 through a law called the law of attraction.

6:59 These are sciences taken from the religions of disbelieving nations, from Buddhism and others.

7:05 And they were transmitted to us as human development sciences

7:10 or psychological exercises like yoga.

7:13 And in reality, these are acts of associating partners with Allah, contrary to the law of the Lord of the worlds.

7:19 It is obligatory to condemn the one who does them.

7:22 Just as the hoopoe condemned the people of the kingdom of Saba'.

7:26 Indeed, what led the people of the kingdom of Saba' to worship the sun was Satan.

7:33 For he adorned for them what they were in of falsehood.

7:36 So he diverted them from the path of Allah.

7:39 Allah the Almighty said:

7:40 “I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fairseeming unto them, and debarreth them from the way (of Truth), so that they go not aright;” (27:24)

7:46 And Satan had made their deeds seem fair to them.

7:49 “I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fairseeming unto them, and debarreth them from the way (of Truth), so that they go not aright;” (27:24)

7:53 And this is the way of the devils among jinn and men.

7:56 They adorn falsehood for people and confuse them.

8:00 Until they believe it to be the truth.

8:03 Allah the Almighty said:

8:12 So We seized them with adversity and hardship,

8:19 that they might humble themselves.

8:23 If only, when Our affliction came to them, they had humbled themselves,

8:31 But their hearts have become hardened.

8:35 “If only, when Our disaster came on them, they had been humble! But their hearts were hardened and the devil made all that they used to do seem fair unto them!” (6:43)

8:42 And He, the Exalted, says:

8:44 “Thus have their (so-called) partners (of Allah) made the killing of their children to seem fair unto many of the idolaters, that they may ruin them and make their faith obscure for them. Had Allah willed (it otherwise), they had not done so. So leave them alone with their devices.” (6:137)

8:49 “Thus have their (so-called) partners (of Allah) made the killing of their children to seem fair unto many of the idolaters, that they may ruin them and make their faith obscure for them. Had Allah willed (it otherwise), they had not done so. So leave them alone with their devices.” (6:137)

8:55 and to make their religion seem confusing to them.

9:00 And if Allah had willed, they would not have done it.

9:06 So leave them to their falsehoods.

9:09 And He, the Exalted, says:

9:13 And 'Ad and Thamud.

9:15 “And (the tribes of) A'ad and Thamud! (Their fate) is manifest unto you from their (ruined and deserted) dwellings. Satan made their deeds seem fair unto them and so debarred them from the Way, though they were keen observers.” (29:38)

9:20 And Satan had made their deeds seem appealing to them.

9:24 And he turned them away from the path.

9:27 And they used to see clearly.

9:31 And Allah, the Most High, says:

9:33 And Pharaoh said:

9:35 “And Pharaoh said: O Haman! Build for me a tower that haply I may reach the roads,” (40:36)

9:42 the pathways of the heavens.

9:44 “The roads of the heavens, and may look upon the god of Moses, though verily I think him a liar. Thus was the evil that he did made fairseeming unto Pharaoh, and he was debarred from the (right) way. The plot of Pharaoh ended but in ruin.” (40:37)

9:49 And indeed, I think he is a liar.

9:59 and turned away from the path.

10:07 And adornment means beautification.

10:11 So Satan and his allies from the human devils,

10:14 they beautify falsehood for people.

10:17 so that they may turn towards it and persist in doing it.

10:20 And perhaps, dear sister,

10:22 by your contemplation of the verses,

10:24 you will be able to grasp how Satan was able

10:27 to beautify people's deeds for them.

10:29 thus turning them away from supplicating to Allah,

10:32 and from following the path of Allah.

10:35 Rather, how were the human devils able

10:37 to beautify the killing of their children for people,

10:40 and their daughters, through infanticide?

10:43 And to answer this question and astonishment,

10:47 perhaps you will turn your attention to the reality

10:49 of the women of the Islamic Ummah today,

10:52 where issues concerning women are presented

10:54 according to the Western perspective,

10:56 to the women of the Ummah, with beautification and deception,

10:59 to the extent that many have adopted them,

11:01 acted upon them, and defended them.

11:05 Even though they are explicitly contrary to Islamic law,

11:09 yet the beautification of them by those driven by desires

11:12 has made women believe in their correctness

11:15 and implement them in their lives.

11:18 So take, for example,

11:20 immodest display and a woman showing

11:22 the attractive parts of her body to the public.

11:26 Although it is forbidden in Islam,

11:28 how were the devils, jinn and humans, able

11:31 to beautify this act for her,

11:34 so that she saw it as good and beautiful?

11:37 They presented to her the issue of women's freedom,

11:40 and what they intend by it is her ability

11:43 to act freely in all matters concerning her

11:46 on the physical and spiritual levels

11:48 and all affairs of life.

11:50 And any prevention of her from that

11:53 is a restriction of her freedom

11:55 and her unjust enslavement.

11:58 And they mean by the topic of freedom

12:00 the woman's liberation from the restrictions

12:03 of Islamic Sharia rulings,

12:05 which protect and preserve her

12:08 in all her actions.

12:10 But they do not dare to state this explicitly.

12:14 So they adorned the concept of freedom for her

12:17 so that she might fall into following her desires,

12:19 making it easy for them to reach her and exploit her.

12:23 And similarly, reproductive health,

12:25 by which they mean a woman's ability

12:28 to have a responsible sexual life

12:32 that is satisfying and safer.

12:35 The reality is that they intend

12:37 by this ornate and embellished term

12:41 for women to fall into fornication without pregnancy.

12:44 And even if she becomes pregnant,

12:46 she is the one who decides whether to keep it or abort it,

12:50 and that her body belongs to her,

12:52 she can do with it as she wishes,

12:56 and cohabitate with whomever she wishes,

12:58 and have relations with whomever she wishes.

13:00 And that the wife has no right over her body

13:03 except with her permission.

13:05 And thus, everything presented today in the West

13:08 concerning women

13:11 is transmitted to us in an embellished manner

13:14 so that the Muslim woman accepts it

13:16 and acts upon it, deviating from the pure law of Allah.

13:20 Otherwise, by Allah,

13:23 how could the devils among mankind

13:25 convince a woman that her obedience to her boss at work,

13:29 her dedication to serving him,

13:31 and her compliance with all his commands

13:34 is a legitimate right for him,

13:36 and a form of progress in the life of a working woman?

13:40 And in return, she is not obligated to obey her husband,

13:44 nor serve him, nor care for his children and home.

13:48 How could they achieve this?

13:50 If not for their embellishment of falsehood.

13:53 The gravity of the matter

13:55 The meanings of this noble verse become clear.

13:59 Allah the Almighty says:

14:00 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

14:06 and he saw it as good.

14:08 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

14:14 and He guides whom He wills.

14:18 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

14:23 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

14:31 Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

14:34 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

14:38 meaning like the disbelievers and the wicked.

14:41 They do evil deeds,

14:43 and while doing so, they believe and think that they are doing good.

14:50 Al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

14:52 Allah the Almighty says:

14:54 "Then is one who is made to seem fair to him his evil deed, so he perceives it as good..."

14:58 Satan made his deed seem fair to him,

15:00 and made it seem good in his eyes,

15:02 so he saw it as good.

15:04 Meaning, like one whom Allah has guided to the straight path and the upright religion.

15:09 "Then is one who sees his evil deed as good [the same as one who is guided]?"

15:12 The first one committed evil deeds

15:15 and saw falsehood as truth and truth as falsehood.

15:18 The second one committed good deeds

15:21 and saw truth as truth and falsehood as falsehood.

15:25 However, guidance and misguidance are in Allah's hands, may He be exalted.

15:29 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

15:35 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

15:38 meaning upon the misguided,

15:39 "who have been made to seem fair to them their evil deeds."

15:43 And Satan has turned them away from the truth,

15:45 regret.

15:47 "So [O Muhammad] you are not to compel them. You are not to compel them [to be guided]."

15:49 And you are not responsible for their guidance.

15:52 It is Allah who will recompense them for their deeds.

15:56 “Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!” (35:8)

16:02 The danger we fear for you, dear sister,

16:06 is that Satan may make falsehood seem appealing to you,

16:09 and you fall into it.

16:10 Then you defend it,

16:12 and spread it among people,

16:14 thus becoming one of the callers to falsehood,

16:17 without you realizing it.

16:19 Like those who demand

16:21 women's rights in a Western manner.

16:24 They think they are defending her

16:27 and doing good to her,

16:29 while in reality, they are misleading her from the path of Allah

16:33 and distancing her from His law.

16:35 But how did the Prophet of Allah, Solomon, act

16:40 with the news he received?

16:43 Did he believe the hoopoe or did he lie to him?

16:46 We will continue in a future meeting, Allah willing.

16:50 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
