▶ A summary of the life of the Salaf between words and deeds | Episode (53) | Trust in God, certainty in God, and love
I considered the Almighty’s saying, “There is no power except in God,” and I saw that it has three aspects, one of which is that its speaker disavows those around him and his power and hands the matter over to its owner. The second is that he knows that there is no power for creatures except in God, so he should not be afraid of them, since their powers are only in God, and that necessitates fear of God alone. The third is that it is a response to the philosophers and naturalists who claim that things are powerful by their nature. This word made clear that the powerful cannot be except in God.
