It's heaven | Episode (15) | Good deeds enter Paradise - 2

0:00 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:05 It is Paradise.

0:15 Righteous deeds that lead to Paradise.

0:20 Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

0:26 May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad.

0:30 And upon all his family and companions.

0:33 To proceed:

0:35 Among the deeds whose reward is Paradise:

0:39 Building mosques.

0:41 For it is narrated from Uthman Ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said:

0:45 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

0:49 "Whoever builds a mosque, seeking thereby the countenance of Allah,"

0:53 "Allah will build for him the like of it in Paradise."

0:58 And among the deeds also:

1:00 Honoring one's parents.

1:03 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

1:06 That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

1:10 "May he be humiliated, then may he be humiliated, then may he be humiliated."

1:14 It was asked, "Who, O Messenger of Allah?"

1:17 He said, "He who finds his parents in their old age,"

1:21 "One or both of them,"

1:23 "And does not enter Paradise [by serving them]."

1:26 And from Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said:

1:29 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

1:33 "I slept and saw myself in Paradise,"

1:36 "And I heard the voice of a reader reciting."

1:39 "I asked, 'Who is this?'"

1:42 "He said, 'This is Harithah Ibn al-Nu'man.'"

1:46 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

1:50 "Such is righteousness."

1:54 And Harithah was the most righteous of people toward his mother.

1:59 And among the deeds also:

2:01 Sponsoring an orphan.

2:03 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

2:07 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

2:11 "The sponsor of an orphan, whether his own or another's,"

2:14 "I and he will be like these two in Paradise,"

2:18 And he gestured with his index and middle fingers.

2:22 And among the deeds also:

2:24 The accepted Hajj (Hajj Mabrur).

2:27 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

2:30 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

2:34 "From Umrah to Umrah,"

2:36 "Is an expiation for what is between them,"

2:39 "And the accepted Hajj,"

2:41 "Has no reward other than Paradise."

2:45 And among the deeds also:

2:47 Fasting.

2:49 For it is narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

2:53 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

2:57 "Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allah,"

3:00 "Allah will distance his face from the Fire by seventy years."

3:06 And among the deeds also:

3:08 Guarding the tongue and the private parts.

3:11 For it is narrated from Sahl Ibn Sa'd, may Allah be pleased with him,

3:14 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

3:18 "Whoever guarantees for me what is between his jaws and what is between his legs,"

3:23 "I guarantee Paradise for him."

3:26 And among the deeds also:

3:29 Kindness to animals.

3:31 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

3:35 That a man saw a dog eating mud out of thirst,

3:41 So the man took his leather sock,

3:43 And began scooping water for it until he quenched its thirst,

3:47 So Allah thanked him for it and admitted him into Paradise.

3:51 And among the deeds also:

3:54 Good character.

3:56 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

3:59 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was asked

4:03 About that which most commonly admits people into Paradise,

4:06 And he said:

4:08 "Fear of Allah and good character."

4:11 And from Abu Umamah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

4:14 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

4:18 "I guarantee a house in the outskirts of Paradise"

4:22 "For one who leaves off arguing, even if he is in the right."

4:26 "And a house in the center of Paradise"

4:30 "For one who leaves off lying, even when joking."

4:34 "And a house in the highest part of Paradise"

4:37 "For one who improves his character."

4:40 And among the deeds also:

4:42 Kind speech,

4:44 Feeding the hungry,

4:46 And praying at night.

4:48 For it is narrated from Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

4:51 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

4:55 "Indeed, in Paradise there are chambers whose insides can be seen from their outsides,"

5:00 "And their outsides from their insides."

5:03 A Bedouin asked, "O Messenger of Allah, for whom are they?"

5:07 He said, "For those who speak kindly,"

5:11 "Feed the hungry,"

5:13 "And pray to Allah at night while the people are asleep."

5:18 And among the deeds also:

5:20 Removing obstacles from the path.

5:23 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

5:26 That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

5:30 "I saw a man moving about in Paradise"

5:34 "Because of a tree he cut down from the middle of the road"

5:38 "That was harming the people."

5:40 This is regarding one who removed a tree,

5:43 And thus removed harm from the people.

5:46 So what of one who removes ignorance from the people?

5:49 And among the deeds also:

5:53 Patience at the first shock.

5:56 For it is narrated from Abu Umamah, may Allah be pleased with him,

5:59 That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

6:03 Allah, the Exalted, says:

6:05 "O son of Adam,"

6:07 "If you are patient and seek reward at the first shock,"

6:11 "I will not be pleased with any reward for you less than Paradise."

6:15 And among the deeds also:

6:19 Patience upon the loss of a loved one.

6:22 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

6:25 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

6:29 Allah, the Exalted, says:

6:32 "My believing servant has no reward with Me"

6:35 "When I take away his loved one from the people of the world,"

6:38 "And he seeks reward [from Me],"

6:40 "Except Paradise."

6:42 And from Anas Ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him,

6:45 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

6:49 "Whoever loses three of his children will enter Paradise."

6:54 A woman stood up and said,

6:57 "Or two?"

6:58 He said,

6:59 "Or two."

7:01 The woman said,

7:03 "I wish I had said one."

7:07 And among the deeds also:

7:09 Kindness to daughters and sisters.

7:14 For it is narrated from Uqbah Ibn Amir, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

7:18 I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying:

7:22 "Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them,"

7:26 "Feeds them, gives them to drink,"

7:29 "And clothes them from his wealth,"

7:32 "They will be a shield for him from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."

7:36 And from Jabir Ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said:

7:41 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

7:45 "Whoever has three daughters, shelters them,"

7:48 "Shows them mercy, and provides for them,"

7:51 "Paradise is certainly incumbent for him."

7:55 He said,

7:56 It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah,"

7:58 "What if they are two?"

8:00 He said,

8:01 "Even if they are two."

8:04 He said,

8:05 Some of the people thought

8:07 That had they asked him about one,

8:10 He would have said one.

8:12 And from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

8:16 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

8:20 "No one has three daughters or three sisters,"

8:25 "Or two daughters or two sisters,"

8:28 "And fears Allah regarding them and treats them well,"

8:32 "But he will enter Paradise."

8:36 And among the deeds also:

8:38 Consoling a brother in his affliction.

8:41 For it is narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said:

8:45 "There is no believer who consoles his brother in an affliction"

8:49 "But Allah, the Exalted, will clothe him in garments of honor on the Day of Resurrection."

8:55 And among the deeds also:

8:59 A wife's obedience to her husband and his pleasure with her.

9:03 For it is narrated from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

9:06 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

9:10 "If a woman prays her five [daily prayers],"

9:13 "Fasts her month [of Ramadan],"

9:15 "Guards her chastity,"

9:17 "And obeys her husband,"

9:19 "She may enter Paradise through whichever of its gates she wishes."

9:24 And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

9:29 "Any woman who dies while her husband is pleased with her,"

9:34 "Will enter Paradise."

9:36 And among the deeds also:

9:38 Being pleased with Allah as Lord,

9:41 With Islam as religion,

9:43 And with Muhammad as Prophet.

9:45 For it is narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him,

9:50 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

9:54 "Whoever says,"

9:56 "'I am pleased with Allah as Lord,'"

9:58 "'With Islam as religion,'"

10:00 "'And with Muhammad as Messenger,'"

10:03 "Paradise becomes incumbent for him."

10:05 And among the deeds also:

10:07 A word that pleases Allah.

10:10 For it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

10:14 That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

10:18 "Indeed, a servant may speak a word that pleases Allah,"

10:23 "Without paying much attention to it,"

10:25 "Yet Allah raises him in degrees because of it."

10:28 And among the deeds also:

10:30 Reliance upon Allah (Tawakkul),

10:32 And not seeking Ruqyah, not believing in omens, and not using cauterization.

10:36 For it is narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said:

10:41 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

10:45 "Seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without account,"

10:51 "They are those who do not seek Ruqyah, do not believe in omens,"

10:55 And in their Lord they place their trust.

10:58 And in another narration:

11:00 With every thousand, there are seventy thousand.

11:03 And in another narration:

11:05 With every single one, there are seventy thousand.

11:10 Among these deeds, also:

11:12 Modesty.

11:14 On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

11:17 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

11:21 Modesty is a part of faith,

11:23 And faith is in Paradise.

11:26 Obscenity is a form of harshness,

11:28 And harshness is in the Fire.

11:32 Among these deeds, also:

11:34 Ease in buying and selling.

11:37 On the authority of Uthman Ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

11:41 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

11:45 Allah admitted a man into Paradise

11:48 Who was easy-going when buying and selling,

11:51 And when settling debts or demanding them.

11:54 And on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him,

11:57 From the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said:

12:02 A man who had never done a good deed at all,

12:05 Used to lend money to people.

12:07 He would say to his messenger:

12:09 "Take what is easy,

12:11 And leave what is difficult,

12:13 And overlook it,

12:14 Perhaps Allah will overlook our faults."

12:19 So when he died, Allah said to him:

12:22 "Have you ever done a good deed at all?"

12:24 He said, "No,

12:26 Except that I had a servant,

12:29 And I used to lend money to people.

12:31 Whenever I sent him to collect,

12:33 I would say to him:

12:35 'Take what is easy,

12:36 And leave what is difficult,

12:38 And overlook it, perhaps Allah will overlook our faults.'"

12:42 Allah the Exalted said:

12:44 "We have overlooked your faults."

12:47 Among these deeds, also:

12:50 Visiting the sick.

12:52 On the authority of Thawban, may Allah be pleased with him,

12:55 The freed slave of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

12:59 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

13:02 Said:

13:04 "Whoever visits a sick person,

13:06 Remains in the khurfa of Paradise

13:08 Until he returns."

13:10 It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah,

13:12 What is the khurfa of Paradise?"

13:14 He said, "Its harvested fruit."

13:18 And Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

13:21 I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

13:24 Say:

13:26 "No Muslim visits another Muslim in the morning

13:29 But that seventy thousand angels pray for him

13:33 Until he reaches the evening.

13:35 And if he visits him in the evening,

13:37 Seventy thousand angels pray for him

13:40 Until he reaches the morning,

13:42 And he will have a garden in Paradise."

13:47 Among these deeds, also:

13:49 Visiting brothers for the sake of Allah.

13:52 On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

13:56 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

13:59 "Whoever visits a sick person

14:01 Or visits a brother of his for the sake of Allah,

14:04 A caller calls out to him:

14:06 'You have done well, and your walk has been pleasant,

14:09 And you have built yourself a home in Paradise.'"

14:14 Among these deeds, also:

14:16 Whoever gives the adhan for twelve years.

14:19 On the authority of Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both,

14:22 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

14:25 Said: "Whoever gives the adhan for twelve years,

14:29 Paradise becomes mandatory for him,

14:31 And there is written for him, for his adhan,

14:34 Sixty good deeds every day,

14:37 And for every iqamah, thirty good deeds.

14:40 And for the one who repeats after the mu'adhdhin,

14:43 He receives the same reward."

14:46 These are some of the deeds that necessitate

14:48 Entry into Paradise,

14:50 And there are many others.

14:52 The bounty of Allah the Exalted is vast.

14:55 We ask Allah the Exalted for His bounty.

14:58 Here our journey in this series concludes.

15:03 We ask Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He,

15:06 That we have been successful

15:08 In presenting what is useful and beneficial.

15:11 And we ask Him, Glorified be He,

15:13 To make us among the people of Paradise,

15:15 And to grant us the highest level of Firdaws,

15:18 Without reckoning or punishment.

15:21 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

15:24 And may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad,

15:28 And upon all his family and companions.

15:32 It is Paradise.
