In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
0:05
It is Paradise.
0:08
The names of Paradise.
0:19
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
0:25
May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad.
0:28
And upon all his family and companions.
0:32
To proceed:
0:33
O you who yearn,
0:36
This is Paradise.
0:38
Allah has described it, and He is the best of describers.
0:41
He has adorned it, and He is the best of adorners.
0:44
He has named it, and He is the best of namers.
0:48
In Paradise, there is bliss without equal.
0:51
It has no counterpart or likeness in this world.
0:55
Its goodness is pure goodness.
0:57
Its pleasure is pure pleasure.
0:59
Its delight is pure delight.
1:02
Here is the abundance of life.
1:04
The tranquility of living.
1:06
The peace of mind.
1:07
The serenity of the soul.
1:09
The ultimate happiness.
1:11
The sweetness of food.
1:13
The purity of drink.
1:15
The delicacy of clothing.
1:17
The preciousness of possessions.
1:20
The splendor of the view.
1:22
The companionship of the friend.
1:24
The goodness of the intimate.
1:26
The beauty of the spouse.
1:28
And the wide-eyed houris.
1:30
In it is that which dazzles the eye.
1:33
In it is the life of the spirit.
1:36
And the fragrance of basil.
1:38
In it is the sum of all goodness and bounties.
1:41
Pearls and coral.
1:44
And fair, modest maidens.
1:46
Whom neither man nor jinn has touched before them.
1:51
And purified honey.
1:53
And milk whose taste never changes.
1:57
In it are lush gardens.
1:59
And fragrant musk.
2:01
And green silk.
2:03
And rubies and saffron.
2:06
There is no illness in it, nor thirst.
2:09
No hunger, nor nakedness.
2:12
Perfection and beauty.
2:14
And everything that the souls desire.
2:17
And the eyes delight in.
2:19
So, is there any equal to this bliss?
2:23
And is there any reason to turn away from it in indifference?
2:26
Here we rejoice in what we have been given.
2:29
And we are happy with what we have been granted.
2:32
The angels meet us, saying:
2:37
“The Supreme Horror will not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, (saying): This is your Day which ye were promised;” (21:103)
2:41
This is your abode for which you were waiting.
2:45
And your destination in which you shall be happy.
2:48
And in which you shall abide forever.
2:51
O people of Paradise,
2:54
Look around you and contemplate.
2:57
It is a vast Paradise.
3:00
Spacious and wondrous.
3:03
Its width is as the width of the heavens and the earth.
3:07
If this is its width,
3:09
Then how vast must its length be?
3:12
And it is not just one Paradise,
3:15
Rather, it is gardens within a Paradise.
3:18
Do you remember Umm Harithah, may Allah be pleased with her?
3:23
When she came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
3:27
After her son, Harithah, may Allah be pleased with him, had been killed,
3:30
By a stray arrow at the Battle of Badr.
3:34
She said, "O Messenger of Allah,
3:37
Will you not tell me about Harithah?
3:40
If he is in Paradise, I shall be patient.
3:43
But if it is otherwise,
3:45
I will weep for him intensely."
3:49
He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
3:52
"Woe to you, O Umm Harithah,
3:55
It is gardens within Paradise,
3:58
And your son has attained the highest Firdaws."
4:03
Come with me, O people of Paradise,
4:06
Let us tour these gardens,
4:08
And get to know them.
4:11
This Paradise is called the Abode of Peace (Dar al-Salam).
4:15
For it is the abode of safety from every affliction and harm.
4:20
Allah the Almighty said:
4:23
“For them is the abode of peace with their Lord. He will be their Protecting Friend because of what they used to do.” (6:127)
4:27
And He said:
4:29
“And Allah summoneth to the abode of peace, and leadeth whom He will to a straight path.” (10:25)
4:33
So congratulations to you if you have settled therein.
4:37
Peace from Allah and mercy.
4:39
You shall enjoy it for all eternity.
4:44
And this Paradise is called the Abode of Eternity (Dar al-Khuld).
4:48
Its people shall abide therein forever.
4:51
They shall never be moved from it.
4:54
Allah the Almighty said:
4:57
“Say: Is that (doom) better or the Garden of Immortality which is promised unto those who ward off (evil)? It will be their reward and journey's end.” (25:15)
5:01
Which the righteous have been promised.
5:05
“Say: Is that (doom) better or the Garden of Immortality which is promised unto those who ward off (evil)? It will be their reward and journey's end.” (25:15)
5:10
“Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled.” (25:16)
5:16
“Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled.” (25:16)
5:21
And this is the Abode of Permanence (Dar al-Muqamah).
5:24
It is an abode from which there is no departure.
5:26
And no change, ever.
5:29
Allah the Almighty said,
5:31
Relating the words of its people:
5:34
They will say, "Praise be to Allah,
5:36
Who has removed all sorrow from us.
5:39
Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving, Appreciative."
5:45
“Who, of His grace, hath installed us in the mansion of eternity, where toil toucheth us not nor can weariness affect us.” (35:35)
5:48
Out of His bounty.
5:50
“Who, of His grace, hath installed us in the mansion of eternity, where toil toucheth us not nor can weariness affect us.” (35:35)
5:57
“Who, of His grace, hath installed us in the mansion of eternity, where toil toucheth us not nor can weariness affect us.” (35:35)
6:01
And those are also the Gardens of Eden (Jannat 'Adn),
6:05
Meaning the abode of residence.
6:07
Allah the Almighty said:
6:10
"Gardens of Eden, which they will enter;
6:16
They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls,
6:23
And their garments therein will be silk."
6:28
And those gardens over there,
6:31
Are the Gardens of Bliss (Jannat al-Na'im).
6:33
It was distinguished by this name
6:35
Because of the various types of bliss it contains,
6:39
Which its people enjoy,
6:42
Of food, drink, and clothing,
6:46
And pleasant fragrance,
6:48
And delightful scenery,
6:49
And spacious dwellings,
6:52
And other forms of manifest and hidden bliss.
6:57
Allah the Almighty said:
7:00
“Lo! those who believe and do good works, for them are the gardens of delight,” (31:8)
7:08
And that which is there is a seat of truth (Maq'ad Sidq),
7:12
Which is the beautiful gathering place,
7:14
In which there is no vain talk and no sin.
7:18
The Almighty said:
7:20
“Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers,” (54:54)
7:26
“Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers,” (54:54)
7:32
"In a seat of truth near a Sovereign, All-Powerful."
7:40
And among the gardens that surround us also,
7:43
Is the Garden of Refuge (Jannat al-Ma'wa).
7:46
It is the Paradise to which the souls of the martyrs ascend.
7:51
It is to the right of the Throne.
7:54
Allah the Almighty has informed us about it,
7:57
Saying:
7:58
“And verily he saw him yet another time” (53:13)
8:01
"At the Lote Tree of the Utermost Boundary,
8:05
Near it is the Garden of Refuge."
8:08
“When that which shroudeth did enshroud the lote-tree,” (53:16)
8:13
And there, in the heights, is also the Garden of Firdaws.
8:18
It is the best of Paradise, its center, and its highest part.
8:22
From it, the rivers of Paradise gush forth.
8:26
And its ceiling is the Throne of the Most Merciful.
8:30
Allah the Almighty said:
8:32
"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds,
8:37
“Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs are the Gardens of Paradise for welcome,” (18:107)
8:44
“Wherein they will abide, with no desire to be removed from thence.” (18:108)
8:50
And know, my beloved ones,
8:52
That all those orchards and gardens
8:56
Return to two foundations,
8:59
And two exquisite types.
9:01
The first:
9:03
Two gardens of gold,
9:05
With all the vessels, ornaments, and palaces they contain.
9:11
The second:
9:12
Two gardens of silver,
9:15
With all the vessels, ornaments, and palaces they contain.
9:20
Do you remember the saying of Allah the Almighty in Surah al-Rahman:
9:25
“But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens.” (55:46)
9:30
These are the two golden gardens,
9:34
Which Allah has prepared for those brought near and the foremost among His believing servants.
9:41
Then He also said:
9:43
"And below them are two [other] gardens."
9:47
These are the two silver gardens,
9:51
Which Allah the Almighty has prepared for the Companions of the Right.
9:57
O people of Paradise,
10:00
All the bliss of this world is nothing,
10:04
When compared to the bliss of Paradise.
10:08
The space occupied by the whip of one of you in Paradise
10:11
Is better than the world and all that is in it.
10:15
And the head-covering of a woman of the women of Paradise
10:18
Is better than the world and all that is in it.
10:23
So Paradise, O you who yearn,
10:26
Is pure, its purity perfected.
10:29
No filth or harm shall ever touch it.
10:33
Its bliss is pure,
10:35
It remains, never perishing or fading.
10:40
It is clear of every impurity,
10:43
No gloom shall ever mingle with it,
10:45
And no decay or rot shall ever befall it.
10:49
So congratulations to its people.
10:53
In Paradise, there is family one never loses,
10:57
And loved ones who never depart,
10:59
And friends who never disappear.
11:02
And bliss that the imagination cannot grasp,
11:06
And happiness that knows no end,
11:09
And dreams that know no impossibility.
11:14
Paradise is love and embraces,
11:17
Family and companions,
11:19
Rivers and birds,
11:21
Palaces and goodness.
11:23
That which we have never seen and never heard.
11:27
This is delight without misery,
11:30
A life of purity,
11:32
Pleasing the heart without fatigue.
11:36
Congratulations to you, O elite of Allah, for a seat,
11:40
Whose walls are surrounded by the mercy of Allah.
11:45
To a garden of the eternal Paradise that never ceases,
11:49
Its fragrance and scent ever-growing.
11:54
Surrounded by dunes of musk and amber,
11:58
Its trees and rivers blooming with pride.
12:03
How excellent are the Gardens of Eden as a dwelling,
12:07
With playgrounds among the palaces and homes.
12:12
In the garden of contentment, the pastures are pleasant,
12:16
Sufficient are its flowers and its brooks.
12:20
In the Garden of Eden, whose width is as the heavens,
12:25
And Firdaws is its crown and its throne.
12:30
Those gardens are encircled by them, as if they were
12:34
Stars surrounding a full moon that illuminates them.
12:39
Blessed, then, is the one whose abode is in the Garden of Eternity,
12:44
And upon whom its Lord and Forgiver sends blessings.
12:49
O Allah, grant us Paradise and its delights.
12:54
O Allah, we ask You for the highest level of Paradise, al-Firdaws,
12:59
Without reckoning and without torment.
13:02
O Allah, answer our prayer.
13:06
And this journey has a continuation.
13:08
It is Paradise.
