1:45 Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

3:38 The wife of 'Imran rejected it by natural disposition (fitrah).
3:41 So she said, "And the male is not like the female."
3:44 Al-Shinqiti, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

4:27 “Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.” (4:34)

8:34 And he, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
8:36 And know, may Allah grant success to you and me.
8:39 To what He loves and is pleased with.
8:41 That this disbelieving idea.
8:43 Erroneous and despicable.
8:45 Contradicting sense and reason.
8:48 And the heavenly revelation and the legislation of the Creator, the Originator.
8:52 Of making the female equal to the male.
8:54 In all rulings and fields.
8:57 Contains corruption and disruption.
8:59 To the system of human society.
9:02 Which is not hidden from anyone.
9:04 Except one whose insight Allah has blinded.
9:07 And that is because Allah, the Majestic and Exalted.
9:10 Made the female, with her special characteristics.
9:13 Suitable for types of participation.
9:16 In building human society.
9:19 A suitability that no one else can fulfill for her.
9:22 Such as pregnancy and childbirth.
9:24 Breastfeeding and raising children.

9:54 From the disbelievers and their followers.
9:56 That the woman has rights.
9:59 In service outside her house.
10:01 Like that of the man.
10:03 Even though during her time of pregnancy.
10:05 And breastfeeding and postpartum.
10:07 She is not able to perform any work.
10:10 That has any hardship, as is observed.
10:13 So if she and her husband go out.
10:16 All the services of the house remain neglected.
10:19 From taking care of the young children.
10:22 And breastfeeding those among them who are in the age of breastfeeding.
10:25 And preparing food and drink for the man.
10:28 When he comes from his work.
