Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity On the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari, may God be pleased with him On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said Every Muslim must give charity They said, O Prophet of God, whoever does not find it He said he works with his hands to benefit himself and gives charity They said if he does not find it He said, "He helps the one who is in need and anxious." They said if he does not find it He said, “Let him do what is right.” And to refrain from evil It is charity for him Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim
