Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity On the authority of Saad bin Ubadah, may God be pleased with him That his mother died And he said O Messenger of God My mother died So I give charity on her behalf He said yes He said Which charity is better? He said Watering water He said This is the watering station for the Saad family in Medina And in a novel The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came and said Which charity is most pleasing to you? He said Water Narrated by Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah It was classed as hasan by Al-Albani
