God, Blessed and Most High, will gather the people, and the believers will rise until Paradise approaches them. They will come to Adam, may God’s prayers be upon him, and say, “O our father, open Paradise for us.” He will say, “And did I take you out of Paradise except for the sin of your father? I am not the owner of that.” Go to my son Abraham, the friend of God. He said. Then they come to Abraham, and Abraham says, “I am not the owner of that. Rather, I was a friend from behind after another. Baptize to Moses, to whom God spoke verbally.” They come to Moses, and he says, “I am not the owner of that. Go to Jesus, the word of God.” And his spirit, and Jesus says, “I am not the owner of that.” They come to Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he stands up and permission is given to him, and trust and mercy are sent and they straighten me. I joined the path to the right and to the left, and the first of you passes like lightning. I said to my father and mother, “What thing?” The lightning flashed. He said, “Have you not seen how it passes and comes back in the blink of an eye? Then the wind flashes, then the bird flashes. And the most powerful of men are their deeds being carried out, and your Prophet is standing on the path. He says, ‘My Lord, peace, peace, until the deeds of the servants fail, until a man comes who cannot. The journey was only crawling, and at both edges of the path there were two strands hanging, commanded to take whomever I commanded, but he was scratched, saved, and piled up in the fire. By the One in whose hand is Abu Hurairah’s soul, the bottom of Hell is seventy depths.

The first thing that brought shame upon the Children of Israel was that a man would meet another man and say, “O this one, fear God and abandon what you are doing, for it is not permissible for you.” Then he would meet him the next day while he was as he was, so that would not prevent him from eating, drinking, and sitting. When they did that, God struck the hearts of some of them with one another. Then He said, “He cursed those of the Children of Israel who disbelieved on the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary.” That is because they disobeyed and transgressed. They did not refrain from an evil they did. Evil is what they did. You will see many of them turning to those who disbelieved. They have disbelieved, evil is what their souls have brought before them. He said, “They are disobedient.” Then he said, “No, by God, you will enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and you will seize the hand of the oppressor, and you will force him to adhere to the truth strictly, and limit him to the truth strictly.” Or, “God will strike your hearts against one another, and then He will curse you just as He cursed them.”
O people, you are reading this verse. O you who have believed, you are responsible for yourselves. He who goes astray will not harm you if you are guided. And I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying that if people see an oppressor, they do not take it upon him or doubt that God will cover them with punishment from Him.
The man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown into Hell, and the poles of his stomach will fall out, and he will spin around like a donkey rolls around in a millstone. Then the people of Hell will gather around him and say, “O so-and-so, what is the matter with you? Weren’t you enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong?” He will say, “Yes, I was enjoining what is right and I did not do it, and I forbade what is wrong and I did.”

They said, “O Messenger of God, we have no private gatherings in which to talk.” The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Then if you refuse anything but sitting, then give the road its due rights.” They said, “And what is the right of the road, O Messenger of God?” He said, “Avert the gaze, refrain from harm, return peace, and enjoin good and forbid evil.”
