O people, I have been appointed over you, and I am not the best of you. If you do good, then help me, and if you do evil, then correct me. Honesty is trust, and lying is betrayal. The weak among you is strong in my eyes until I take what is right for him, and the strong among you is weak in my eyes until I take what is right from him. ▶ Summary of Sahih Al-Bukhari | Episode (58) | Zakat book - 3
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is the obligation of charity that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, imposed on the Muslims and which God commanded His Messenger to do. So whoever is asked for it from among the Muslims in its correct form, let him give it, and whoever is asked above it, he should not give it. For twenty-four camels or less than that of sheep, from every five sheep, if they reach twenty-five to thirty-five, there is a female daughter of makhadal, and if they reach thirty-six to forty-five, then a female daughter of laban, and if they reach six. If it reaches sixty-one to seventy-five, then it has a haqqah. If it reaches seventy-six to ninety, then it has a Bint Labun. If it reaches ninety-one to one hundred and twenty, then it has a Haqqatani Tarooqa Al-Jamal. If it exceeds twenty and a hundred, then for every forty there is a Bint Labun, and for every fifty there is his right. And whoever has only four camels, there is no zakat on it unless their Lord wills. If it reaches five camels. There is a sheep in it, and in the sheep’s zakat in its samah, if it is forty to twenty and one hundred sheep, if it exceeds twenty and one hundred to two hundred sheep, if it exceeds two to three hundred, then it is three sheep, and if it exceeds three hundred, then in every hundred sheep, so if a man’s samah is less than forty sheep, there is no zakat on it unless its Lord wills, and in Raqqa it is a quarter of a tenth, and if it is only ninety and a hundred, then there is nothing in it unless its Lord wills.
