Stories of the Prophets, Stories of the Prophets, peace be upon them
0:08
God's prayers are followed by peace
0:13
For the best of all creation
0:19
Those with determination have high standing
0:24
The story of Moses, peace be upon him
0:29
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:35
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds
0:37
May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad
0:40
And upon all his family and companions
0:44
And after
0:46
Moses, peace be upon him, continued to invite the children of Israel
0:50
He urged them to be patient and steadfast until God removes the affliction from them
0:55
And on the other side
0:57
Pharaoh used to inflict severe punishment on them
1:01
And he uses them to make pulp
1:03
To build Coptic homes and palaces
1:07
They are asked to make a certain amount every day
1:11
If they do not do what is required of them
1:13
They were beaten and insulted to the point of humiliation
1:16
They were hurt extremely badly
1:19
Pharaoh also killed those of his Coptic people who abandoned his worship
1:26
Even if he was one of his close ones
1:29
The same happened with his wife Asiya bint Muzahim
1:33
And his daughter did not neglect
1:35
And an attempt to kill the faithful man who was among his entourage
1:39
Had God not saved him from it
1:43
Pharaoh was hesitant to kill Moses and his brother Aaron, peace be upon them
1:49
Sometimes he advances and sometimes he refrains
1:52
May God Almighty protect them from Pharaoh and his oppression
1:59
In the midst of this charged atmosphere
2:02
Where disbelief persists in faith
2:04
God Almighty was sending signs to Pharaoh and his people
2:09
Perhaps they will learn from it
2:12
Or they fear God's oppression and punishment
2:15
As God Almighty said
2:18
We do not send signs except in fear
2:22
But those verses did not help them
2:26
They were as God said
2:29
We fear them, but it only increases their tyranny
2:34
God continued the verses upon them
2:38
So he took them by the years
2:39
These are years of drought
2:41
Where crops are not exploited and udders are not benefited from
2:47
They suffered from a shortage of fruits
2:49
It is the lack of fruits from trees
2:53
He did not benefit and did not care
2:55
Rather, they rebelled and continued their disbelief and stubbornness
3:00
If good comes to them
3:02
It is fertility and the like
3:04
They told us this
3:06
That is, this is what we deserve and this is what suits us
3:11
Even if bad befalls them
3:13
They accuse Moses and those with him
3:16
And they say
3:17
With their misfortune, this has befallen us
3:22
Then God sent a flood upon them
3:25
It rained day and night
3:27
Eight days and nights
3:31
They do not see the sun or the moon
3:34
The people screamed and ran to Pharaoh
3:37
They were afraid of drowning
3:39
So Pharaoh sent to Moses, peace be upon him
3:43
He came to him
3:44
And he said
3:45
Oh Moses
3:47
Reveal this to us
3:49
So we will believe in you and send the children of Israel with you
3:53
So Moses called upon his Lord
3:55
So the sky took off
3:57
And the earth dried
3:59
It grew from pasture and crops
4:01
The likes of which they had never seen in Egypt
4:04
And they said
4:06
No, I swear
4:07
We don't believe you
4:08
We will not send the Children of Israel with you
4:12
We were horrified by something
4:14
It was good for us
4:16
So they broke and disobeyed
4:19
So God sent locusts upon them
4:22
So he ate what the earth grew
4:25
The locusts remained on them for eight days and nights
4:29
They don't see the ground
4:31
And the locusts rode one cubit on one another
4:35
Even if it eats the nails of iron doors
4:40
Their homes and dwellings will fall upon them
4:43
So the people of Egypt cried out to Pharaoh
4:46
So he sent to Moses
4:48
And he said to him the same as what he said at the time of the flood
4:53
He promised to believe in him and sent the children of Israel with him
4:58
So Moses, peace be upon him, called upon his Lord
5:01
Then God Almighty sent a strong wind
5:04
So she endured the locusts and threw them into the sea
5:08
There were no locusts left on the earth
5:11
So the people of Egypt looked
5:13
So, they are left with those who planted them and their agents
5:16
That is enough for them
5:19
And they said
5:21
We have enough left for this year
5:25
No, by God, we do not believe in you, nor will we send the Children of Israel with you
5:32
So God sent lice on them
5:34
It was said that it is the weevils that emerge from wheat
5:38
It was said that it was fleas
5:41
So he entered the houses and furnishings with them
5:43
No decision was made for them
5:46
They could not sleep with him or live
5:49
So they cried out to Pharaoh
5:52
So he sent to Moses and said
5:54
Reveal this lice for us
5:57
So we will believe in you and send the children of Israel with you
6:01
So Moses called upon his Lord
6:03
So the lice died
6:05
Not a single one of it remained
6:08
When the people looked
6:10
They saw that they had nothing left to live with
6:14
They said
6:15
O Moses, can your Lord do worse to us than He did?
6:21
By God, we do not believe you
6:23
We will not send the Children of Israel with you
6:27
So God sent frogs to them
6:30
So it crawled in their land and homes
6:33
And their chambers and the backs of their houses
6:36
Until it made the man wake up with countless of them
6:42
I filled them with food and utensils
6:45
None of them revealed any clothing or food
6:48
Except he found frogs in it
6:51
Even if one of them opens his mouth for food or drink
6:56
One of those frogs fell into his mouth
7:00
So they cried out to Pharaoh
7:02
So he sent to Moses
7:04
He came to him
7:05
And he said
7:07
Pray for us, your Lord
7:08
May these frogs be destroyed from our land
7:12
We will believe in you and send the children of Israel with you
7:16
So Moses called upon his Lord
7:18
So he removed the frogs from their land and killed them
7:22
Then he sent his rain
7:23
So he carried it and threw it into the sea
7:27
And they said
7:28
No, I swear
7:30
We will not believe in you, nor will we send the Children of Israel with you
7:36
So God sent blood on them
7:38
Their rivers gushed blood
7:41
They were not able to get water
7:44
The rivers of the children of Israel flowed with good, fresh water
7:49
If a man from the family of Pharaoh entered the rivers of the children of Israel
7:54
There was blood in it
7:57
The water in front of him and behind him is clear and fresh
8:01
He can't do anything about it
8:04
They stayed here for eight days and nights without tasting water
8:10
Until they reached the effort
8:12
So the people of Egypt went to Pharaoh
8:15
We have perished, as have our animals and what we have shed from thirst
8:21
So Pharaoh sent to Moses and summoned him
8:24
And he said
8:25
Oh Moses
8:27
Pray for us that your Lord will reveal this blood to us
8:30
We give you our charters
8:33
We will believe in you and we will send the Children of Israel with you
8:38
So Moses called upon his Lord
8:40
So he revealed it to them
8:42
So they drank water
8:43
Then they returned to their disbelief and said
8:46
By God, we do not believe you
8:49
We will not send the Children of Israel with you
8:53
All of these verses
8:55
It was just coming down on them
8:58
The children of Israel had nothing to do with that
9:02
This is quite a wonderful miracle
9:05
And the conclusive argument
9:09
Then God inflicted punishment on them
9:11
It is the plague
9:13
It is the sixth torment after the previous five verses
9:18
Seventy thousand of them died in one day
9:22
They went to bed and they were not burying each other
9:25
So they cried out to Pharaoh
9:28
So he called Moses and said to him
9:30
Oh Moses
9:31
Pray for us to your Lord for what He has promised you regarding the answer to your prayer
9:36
Because this shame was revealed to us
9:39
We will believe in you
9:40
And we will send the Children of Israel with you
9:44
So Moses, peace be upon him, called upon his Lord
9:47
So he removed it from them for a specific period
9:51
So they break the covenant
9:54
So God took revenge on them and drowned them in the sea
9:58
He will also come with us, God willing
10:01
This is because they were denying the signs of God
10:06
And they turned away from it
10:09
God Almighty said
10:11
We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs
10:18
He said, “I am the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds.”
10:22
When He brought them Our signs, they laughed at them
10:33
We do not see any sign except that it is greater than its sister
10:39
And We seized them with torment so that they might return
10:46
And they said, O magician, invoke your Lord for us according to what He has covenanted with you. Indeed, we will be guided
10:56
When We removed the torment from them, behold, they reneged
11:04
These verses from God Almighty were detailed
11:10
Its details are that each torment lasts a week
11:15
Between every two torments, there is a month
11:18
Perhaps they should review themselves and consider
11:21
When that was not the case with them
11:24
The word of torment fell upon them
11:28
God Almighty said
11:30
And We certainly afflicted Pharaoh's family with years and a shortage of fruits, so that they might remember
11:40
When good comes to them, they say this to us
11:47
And if an evil befalls them, they will blame Moses and those with him
11:56
Indeed, their bird is with God, but most of them do not know
12:07
And they said, “No matter what sign you bring us to enchant us with, we are not believers in your name.”
12:16
So We sent upon them the flood and the locusts and the lice and the frogs and blood as clear signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.
12:37
And when the calamity befell them, they said, “O Moses, pray to your Lord for us according to what He has covenanted with you.”
12:47
If you remove the punishment from us, we will believe in you and send the Children of Israel with you
13:04
When We removed from them the punishment for a term they had fulfilled, behold, they renounced it
13:14
So We took revenge on them and drowned them in the sea because they denied Our signs and were heedless of them
13:36
So We sent to them to command the children of Israel to prepare to leave Egypt
13:43
And walk to the land of Jerusalem, their original lands, the lands of their ancestors
13:51
So Moses ordered them to prepare and prepare secretly and to be careful that no one noticed them
14:00
God Almighty inspired Moses, peace be upon him, to leave Egypt and head toward the sea
14:08
So Moses went out with them at the beginning of the night, as God had commanded him
14:12
The children of Israel had borrowed a lot of jewelry from Pharaoh's people to celebrate their holiday
14:21
So they took the gold with them, and when they left home, Moses lost his way
14:28
He said to the children of Israel, “What is this?”
14:32
The scholars of the Children of Israel said to him, “We are telling you that when death approached Joseph, peace be upon him.”
14:41
He took a pledge from God that we would not leave Egypt until we transported his ark with us
14:48
Moses said to them, “Which of you knows where Joseph’s grave is?”
14:54
They said, “No one knows its location except an old man among us.”
14:59
So he sent for her and said to her, “Show me to Joseph’s grave.”
15:05
She said, “By God, I will not do it until you give me my ruling.”
15:10
He said to her: What is your ruling?
15:13
She said my rule is to be with you in heaven
15:18
It was as if he was burdened by that
15:21
He was told to give her her ruling, so he gave it to her
15:26
He said, “So I went with them to a lake, that is, a swamp of water.”
15:32
She told them to drain this water
15:36
When they were exhausted, she said, “Dig here.”
15:41
When they dug, they extracted the coffin of Joseph, peace be upon him
15:47
When they had endured, the road was like daylight
15:51
So Moses, peace be upon him, went with them
15:55
They were 600 thousand souls
15:59
When Pharaoh's people became
16:02
They were surprised by the progress of the children of Israel
16:05
There is no one to support or respond to their club
16:09
This angered Pharaoh
16:12
His anger at them intensified
16:14
He wanted to kill them and Moses with them
16:18
So he quickly sent someone to gather soldiers in his country
16:22
He collects it from every village and city under his authority
16:27
Hundreds of thousands gathered for him
16:30
They are the outcome of every soldier
16:32
And he called out to them
16:34
It was the children of Israel who fled with Moses
16:38
A despicable sect with few numbers
16:42
And they fill our chests with joy
16:45
Where they violated our religion
16:48
They left without our permission
16:50
We are all alert and ready for them
16:56
Pharaoh came out with a great force and a large crowd
17:00
And with him are the people of power and authority, including princes and ministers
17:04
And the elders, the presidents, and the soldiers
17:08
They reached them at sunrise
17:11
When Pharaoh and his people met with Moses and his people
17:16
So that each team saw the other team
17:20
Musa's companions said after they reached the seashore
17:24
Pharaoh and his people will catch up with us
17:27
We have no power over them
17:31
Moses, peace be upon him, said to them
17:33
Nope
17:34
Nothing you warn will reach you
17:38
It is God Almighty who commanded me to walk with you here
17:43
He does not break his promise
17:47
Aaron, peace be upon him, was in the forefront
17:50
And with him was Joshua bin Nun
17:52
And a believer in the family of Pharaoh and Moses, peace be upon him
17:56
In the leg
17:57
That is, in the back
17:59
When they reached the sea
18:01
They stood there not knowing what they were doing
18:05
And the believer of Pharaoh’s family said to Moses, peace be upon him
18:09
O Prophet of God
18:11
Here God commanded you to walk
18:14
He says yes
18:16
Pharaoh and his soldiers approached
18:18
There was only a little left
18:21
Then
18:22
God commanded His Prophet Moses to strike the sea with his staff
18:27
So he hit him
18:28
And he said
18:30
It broke, God willing
18:32
Then the sea parted
18:34
Every side of it became like a large mountain
18:38
The sea became twelve paths
18:41
Each tribe has a path
18:44
So Moses, peace be upon him, ordered them to walk on these roads
18:49
And he became at the sides of the sea
18:51
Such as windows and windows
18:54
They look at each other
18:56
So that they would not think that they had perished
19:00
God sent the wind to the bottom of the sea and it blew
19:04
And it became dry roads like the face of the earth
19:09
I crossed the Banu Isra to the sea
19:12
When the last of them came out of it
19:14
Moses, peace be upon him, wanted to hit the sea with his staff
19:19
To go back to how it was
19:21
Pharaoh and his army would not pursue him
19:24
And God said to him
19:26
Leave the sea alone
19:29
That is, silent
19:31
Pharaoh and his soldiers are drowning
19:36
Pharaoh arrived with his soldiers
19:38
To the edge of the sea on the other side
19:42
When he saw the sea in this state
19:45
He aura and refrained
19:47
He gave him an illusion of returning
19:50
But that's not it
19:52
Destiny has run out
19:54
And it was done
19:56
So he flogged his princes
19:58
And he told them
20:00
The children of Israel have no more right to the sea than us
20:04
So they all stormed in from the last
20:08
When they entered into it and completed each other
20:11
Almighty God commanded the sea to crash upon them
20:15
He crashed into them
20:17
None of them survived
20:20
And the waves raised and lowered them
20:24
And the children of Israel watched
20:27
The waves piled up over Pharaoh
20:30
And he was overcome by the throes of death
20:33
He said it was like that
20:35
I believed that there is no god except the one in whom the children of Israel believed
20:41
I am a Muslim
20:44
So he believed where faith did not benefit him
20:48
Gabriel, peace be upon him, was monitoring the situation
20:51
When he saw Pharaoh uttering these words
20:55
Taken from sea clay
20:58
So he started putting it in his mouth
21:00
Fearing that mercy would reach him
21:04
God Almighty said
21:07
And We revealed to Moses, “Be pleased with My servants. You will be followed.”
21:15
So Pharaoh sent envoys to the cities
21:21
These are a small group
21:28
And they are angry with us
21:34
We are all wary
21:38
So We brought them out of gardens and springs
21:44
Treasures and a noble position
21:49
Likewise, We made it an inheritance from the Children of Israel
21:55
So they followed them shining
22:00
When the two crowds saw, Musa’s companions said, “Indeed, we will overtake each other.”
22:09
He said, “No, my Lord is with me. He will guide me.”
22:15
So We revealed to Moses: “The land of the Lord, your staff is the sea.”
22:21
Then it split, and each part was like a great mountain
22:28
We removed and then others
22:32
And We saved Moses and all those with him
22:39
Then we drowned the others
22:45
This is how God destroyed the tyrant Pharaoh
22:49
He destroyed his soldiers, ministers, and aides
22:53
And God saved the oppressed people
22:56
And God healed the breasts of a believing people
22:59
They are looking at the destruction of the unjust people
23:04
But some of the children of Israel
23:07
They did not believe in the death of Pharaoh
23:09
As if they were too afraid of him
23:12
They see that someone like him does not die
23:16
So God Almighty commanded the sea to cast him with his body without a soul
23:21
And he wears his known shield
23:23
On a high place on the ground
23:27
To look at him and verify his death and destruction
23:33
The destruction of Pharaoh and his power occurred on the day of Ashura
23:38
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said:
23:42
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, presented Medina
23:46
The Jews fast on Ashura
23:49
He asked them and they said
23:52
This is the day on which Moses appeared to Pharaoh
23:56
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to his companions
24:01
You are more worthy of Moses than them, so fast
24:06
Narrated by Al-Bukhari
24:09
The rest of the talk, God willing
24:12
And God knows best
24:14
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds
24:17
May God bless and grant peace to our Prophet Muhammad
24:21
And upon all his family and companions
