We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah."

For he once said while I was before him:

"O Allah, I love him, so love him and love whoever loves him."

I once took a date from the dates of charity.

And I put it in my mouth.

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to me:

"Did you not know that we do not eat charity?"

At Uhud, my front tooth was knocked out,

so the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, ordered me to have a replacement made of gold.

During the expedition of Al-Muraysi',

the most honorable will surely drive out the most lowly from it."

He intended himself by "the most honorable,"
