1:25 He formed a battalion of supporters

1:28 To maintain security in the city

1:31 When the Companions finished burying Omar, may God be pleased with him

1:36 The six men gathered to choose the caliph

1:39 Abdul Rahman bin Awf, may God be pleased with him, said

1:43 Make your matter up to three of you

1:46 Al-Zubayr, may God be pleased with him, said

1:49 I have assigned my command to Ali

1:52 Talha, may God be pleased with him, said

1:55 I have given my command to Othman

1:58 Saad, may God be pleased with him, said

2:00 I have given my command to Abd al-Rahman bin Awf

2:04 He gave up the caliphate for three days

2:07 They are Al-Zubair, Talha, Saad bin Abi Al-Qas

2:28 And he said to them

2:30 Which of you can disavow this matter?

2:33 So we give it to its owner

2:45 By God, I must not deviate from the best of you

2:50 So he took Ali’s hand, may God be pleased with him, and said to him

3:03 Because I commanded you to be just

3:06 And because I ordered Othman bin Affan

3:17 And he told him like that

3:23 When he took the covenant from them

3:31 So he pledged allegiance to him

3:32 Then Ali, may God be pleased with him, pledged allegiance to him

3:35 Then people continued to pledge allegiance to him

3:39 Othman, may God be pleased with him, pledged allegiance to the caliphate

3:43 Saturday, the first day of Muharram

3:46 From the year twenty-four AH

3:49 His caliphate lasted 12 years except for a few nights

3:54 It was one of the most distinguished eras of the Rightly Guided Caliphate

3:57 In his time, may God be pleased with him

4:00 The scope of Islam extended greatly

4:04 The conquests reached a place they had not reached before

4:09 There was prosperity, security and safety

4:12 Urbanization flourished

4:13 And many gifts

4:15 And low prices

4:17 He, may God be pleased with him, used to ask people about their news and conditions

4:22 He follows up on their affairs

4:25 In the year 26 AH

4:28 Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, noted

4:32 Crowd of people in the Grand Mosque

4:35 He demolished the houses surrounding the mosque

4:38 After paying the owners compensation

4:42 And bring it into the Grand Mosque

4:44 He was the first to introduce covered corridors

4:47 And the marble columns of the Grand Mosque

4:51 The same was done at the Prophet’s Mosque

4:54 Where the mosque was located in its first building

4:57 With milk and cheese

4:59 Its columns are made of wood

5:02 Othman, may God be pleased with him, changed it

5:05 It increased greatly

5:08 He built his wall with carved stones and plaster

5:12 Its columns were made of decorated stones

5:16 Its roof is made of teak

5:18 It is wood brought from India

5:22 And for the sake of the actions of Othman, the Commander of the Faithful

5:25 May God be pleased with him eternally

5:27 A collection of the Holy Quran

5:30 And that's the point

5:32 When Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman, may God be pleased with him, returned

5:36 From the fields of jihad and the lands of conquests

5:40 He was frightened by the fact that people differed in reading the Qur’an

5:44 So he entered upon Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, and said

5:49 O Commander of the Faithful!

5:51 He recognized this nation before they differed in the book

5:55 The Jews and Christians also disagreed

5:58 So Othman, may God be pleased with him, sent

6:00 To the Mother of the Believers, Hafsa, may God be pleased with her

6:04 Send us the newspapers

6:06 We copy it into the Qur’an and then return it to you

6:10 So Hafsa sent it to Othman, may God be pleased with them both

6:15 So he ordered Zaid bin Thabit to copy it all

6:18 And Abdullah bin Al-Zubair

6:20 And Saeed bin Al-Aas

6:22 And Abdul Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham

6:25 May God be pleased with them

6:27 So they copied it into the Qur’an

6:30 Othman, may God be pleased with him, said to the three Quraishi men:

6:35 If you and Zaid bin Thabit disagreed about anything in the Qur’an

6:39 So write it in the language of Quraysh

6:42 It was revealed by their tongue

6:45 So they did

6:46 Even if they copied the newspapers into the Qur’an

6:49 Othman, may God be pleased with him, returned the newspapers to Hafsa, may God be pleased with her

6:55 He sent to every country of Islam a Qur’an from what they had copied

7:01 He ordered that anything other than the Qur’an in every scroll or Qur’an be burned

7:07 Imam Al-Qarqabi said

7:09 This was from Othman, may God be pleased with him

7:12 After he gathered the Muhajireen, the Ansar, and the honor of the people of Islam

7:17 He consulted them about that

7:20 They agreed to collect it according to what was authentic and proven from the famous readings from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace

7:28 And the waste is nothing else

7:30 And they considered it desirable

7:32 It was a sound and successful opinion

7:35 May God have mercy on him and them all

7:39 The Commander of the Faithful was Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him

7:43 Very concerned for Muslims

7:46 I highly recommend them

7:48 He does his best to guide and benefit them

7:52 And from that

7:53 He once called ablution

7:56 So he made ablution

7:57 He washed his hands three times

8:00 Then rinse your mouth and rinse your mouth

8:02 Then he washed his face three times

8:05 Then he washed his right hand up to the elbow three times

8:10 Then he washed his left hand like that

8:13 Then he wiped his head

8:14 Then he washed his right leg up to the ankles three times

8:19 Then wash the left one like that

8:22 Then he said

8:23 I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performing ablution similar to this ablution

8:29 Then he said

8:31 Whoever performs ablution like this ablution

8:34 Then he stood up and prayed two rak'ahs

8:36 The same thing does not happen in either of them

8:39 He was forgiven for his previous sins

8:43 Othman, may God be pleased with him, addressed the people one day

8:47 He said to them

8:48 People

8:50 Avoid alcohol

8:51 It is the mother of evil

8:54 He was a man of those who came before you who used to worship

8:58 A seductive woman fell in love with him

9:01 So she sent her maid to him

9:04 She said to him

9:05 We invite you to bear witness

9:08 So he went with her maid

9:10 So I closed everything that entered a door without it

9:14 Until it led to a bright woman

9:17 She has a boy

9:19 And a vessel containing wine

9:21 And she said

9:23 By God, I did not call you to witness

9:26 But I invited you to fall for it

9:29 Or drink a cup of this wine

9:32 Or kill this boy

9:35 The worshiper looked at himself and said:

9:38 Hide the three things

9:40 Drinking wine

9:41 He said to her

9:43 Give me a cup of this wine to drink

9:46 So I made him drink a cup

9:48 Then he said: Increase me

9:50 He did not leave his place until he fell upon her and killed the boy

9:55 So avoid alcohol

9:57 By God, faith and addiction to alcohol do not coexist in the heart of a servant

10:02 However, one of them is about to expel the other

10:06 Othman, may God be pleased with him, was not

10:09 He refuses to return to the truth if it becomes clear to him

10:13 The truth is more worthy of being followed

10:16 Without looking at his condition

10:18 Or being the Commander of the Faithful

10:21 A woman gave birth to him for six months

10:25 Othman, may God be pleased with him, said

10:27 I don't see it as anything but human beings

10:31 He ordered her to be stoned

10:33 Then Ali bin and Abu Talib, may God be pleased with him, entered and said

10:38 What is this, O Commander of the Faithful?

10:41 Othman said

10:42 And what is that?

10:44 She gave birth six months ago

10:47 Ali said

10:48 Didn't God Almighty say?

10:51 His pregnancy and weaning are thirty months

10:55 He said weaning him in two years

10:58 If she has completed breastfeeding for two years

11:01 The pregnancy was six months

11:04 So Othman submitted to Ali’s statement, may God be pleased with them both

11:08 He backed off from stoning her

11:11 During the caliphate of Othman, may God be pleased with him

11:14 The conquests spread

11:16 The Islamic kingdoms extended to the farthest corners of the earth and its west

11:23 Andalusia and Cyprus were conquered

11:26 And the country of Kairouan

11:28 Al-Mada'in, Ahvaz, and Khorasan were conquered

11:32 Khosrau was killed

11:33 His kingdom was completely destroyed

11:36 Tax is collected from every place on earth to the Muslim treasury

11:42 In the year twenty-eight AH

11:45 The command of the Commander of the Faithful, Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him

11:50 Insha'Allah, the first naval fleet in Islam

11:54 This was after attempts by Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, may God be pleased with him, to convince him

12:00 Othman, may God be pleased with him, agreed

12:03 He stipulated that he would not force any of the Muslims to invade the sea

12:08 He told him not to elect anyone

12:11 Rather, whoever chooses to invade it willingly, help him

12:16 So Muawiyah, may God be pleased with him, did so

12:19 This is because Othman, may God be pleased with him, feared the sea for the Muslims

12:24 And his concern for them
