And with Him is the most beautiful goal.

The ultimate end of His path is the attainment of His pleasure,

And the reaching of a Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth.

At its gate,

All the exhaustion, sorrow, and hardship of this world come to an end.

The believer suffers various kinds of difficulties on their path to Allah.

And when they look at the people of falsehood,

They find many of them in security and wealth,

And in worldly comfort and prosperity,

Moving freely among the pleasures of life.

In this situation and the way one views it, believers are distinguished.

For whoever is weak in faith,

Is overcome by sadness and distress,

And begins a psychological struggle

That brings them pain upon pain.

As for the strong in faith,

This only increases them in steadfastness and patience,

And in certainty of the correctness of the path,

Knowing that these burdens are but the dowries for the brides of joy

Waiting at the end of the straight path.

Verily, the merchandise of Allah is precious;

Verily, the merchandise of Allah is Paradise.

And that which is precious is not attained except through hardship.

There is no doubt that the path to Paradise is a difficult one,

On whose edges appear the spears of anxiety,

The arrows of harm,

The blades of struggling against the self,

The parting with beloved things,

And the swallowing of all that is disliked.

Allah the Exalted says:

﴾Do you think that you will enter Paradise

while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause

and made evident those who are steadfast?﴿

And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

"Paradise is surrounded by hardships,

and the Fire is surrounded by desires."

then read the biographies of the Prophets.

You will find in them successive agonies

and the noble, chaste Yahya was slaughtered,

And you want it through amusement and play?

and longing for a life of constant ease with your loved ones,

finds in the comfort and sweetness of faith

but they will not be able to achieve complete safety from every pain.

the difficulty is made easy for them,

and the waves of comfort flow toward them.

for attaining all the pleasures you desire,

and for safety from all that is disliked,

until you reach there,

in the Abode of Honor,

where you will attain every delight,

and every misery will depart from you.

Abandon dwelling under the shadow of that which is fleeting;

you are but travelers in this abode.

Whoever hopes for a good life in it is merely

building their hope upon a crumbling precipice.

True life, all of life, after parting from this world,

is in the abode of those who have preceded, the most noble of abodes.
