is torn with rage and melts with heartache,

is that he may see his life tainted by an unending hardship,

is that he may do good to people,

yet finds no one among them grateful for his kindness,

nor even safety from their harm,

despite his benevolence toward them.

if the world were to end

and there were no life thereafter

in which its people are held to account for what they sent forth,

to recompense every worker for what he has done.

There, the oppressed will triumph,

the distressed believer will be consoled,

and he will find the reward for his kindness to be great goodness.

Reflect upon the words of the Prophet, peace be upon him:

"Rights will surely be restored to their owners on the Day of Resurrection,

until justice is served for the hornless sheep

against the horned sheep."

are a solace for every oppressed person,

and a glad tiding that extinguishes from his heart

the flames of heartache and sorrow.

And the happiness of the oppressed there is not

merely that his oppressor is punished for the injustice he committed against him;

the oppressed will be given

from the good deeds of the oppressor to his own scale,

and the oppressor will be burdened

with prayer, fasting, and zakat,

So this one is given from his good deeds,

and that one is given from his good deeds.
