May Allah preserve him.
0:28
Whoever obeys the Lord dissolves into the sweetest of feelings.
0:35
Where is the answer?
0:40
How many moments pass for a person while they are heedless?
0:44
Ask yourself:
0:46
Are you prepared for the reckoning?
0:49
Have you tried to account for yourself before you are called to account?
0:53
Have you pictured yourself living your final moments?
0:58
Have you imagined the Angel of Death at your head?
1:01
Have you tallied your good deeds and your sins?
1:04
Have you turned to Allah in repentance and contrition?
1:08
These are many questions,
1:10
That require you to provide an answer in this world before the Hereafter.
1:15
For in this world, you can still change your answer.
1:19
The opportunity is favorable and available.
1:22
But in the Hereafter, the opportunity is non-existent.
1:28
The answer there is final; you cannot change it.
1:32
You might say:
1:34
"I want to be fully prepared for the examination."
1:39
And you might say:
1:41
"I seek happiness and success for myself."
1:44
"I desire success and I hope for forgiveness."
1:48
"But I am ignorant of the path to it."
1:51
"And I do not know how to begin."
1:54
You are like a drowning man,
1:56
Wanting someone to take his hand.
1:58
Like a wanderer feeling for the way,
2:01
Wanting a glimmer of hope,
2:03
And a ray of light.
2:05
But where is the path?
2:08
The path, my dear brother,
2:11
Is as clear as the sun.
2:13
As manifest as the moon.
2:15
It is one, with no second to it.
2:17
It is the path of repentance.
2:20
The path of success.
2:22
The path of prosperity.
2:24
It is an easy, facilitated path.
2:27
Open before you at every moment.
2:30
You need only knock on the door,
2:33
And you will find the answer.
2:46
This is the answer.
2:48
Indeed, Allah the Exalted,
2:50
Has called all His servants,
2:52
Both the believer and the disbeliever, to repentance.
2:55
And He, Glory be to Him and Exalted be He, has informed us,
2:58
That He forgives all sins,
3:00
For whoever repents from them,
3:02
And turns back from them,
3:04
No matter how numerous they are,
3:05
And no matter how great they are,
3:07
Even if they were like the foam of the sea.
3:10
Say: "O My servants who have transgressed
3:13
Against their own souls,
3:16
Do not despair
3:18
Of the mercy of Allah."
3:22
“Say: O My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgiveth all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (39:53)
3:27
Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
3:33
And Allah the Exalted answered His servant,
3:36
Saying in the hadith qudsi:
3:38
"O son of Adam,
3:40
As long as you call upon Me and hope in Me,
3:43
I will forgive you for what you have done,
3:45
And I do not mind."
3:47
"O son of Adam,
3:49
If your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky,
3:52
Then you sought My forgiveness,
3:54
I would forgive you and I do not mind."
3:56
"O son of Adam,
3:58
If you were to come to Me with sins nearly filling the earth,
4:02
Then you met Me, not associating anything with Me,
4:05
I would come to you with nearly as much forgiveness."
4:09
This, then, is the answer.
4:49
And revelation follows it.
4:53
If Allah wills a thing,
4:57
He says to it "Be," and it is.
