0:11 Increase your closeness to the Most Merciful.

0:24 by Sheikh Usama Bahr, may Allah preserve him.

0:27 Everyone who obeys the Lord dissolves into the sweetest feeling.

0:34 Act quickly before you are overtaken.

0:37 Take the initiative yourself and do not wait for your fate,

0:43 for you do not know when it will come.

0:46 Do not look at the smallness of the sin,

0:49 but look at the greatness of the One you have disobeyed.

0:52 He is Allah, the Creator, the First,

0:55 the Originator of all beginnings,

0:58 and the Last, who remains after all endings.

1:01 Whoever contemplates the greatness and majesty of Allah

1:04 will honor His sacred boundaries and esteem Him as He deserves to be esteemed.

1:08 He will revere His commands and prohibitions,

1:11 and will consider his own sin grave, even if it is small,

1:14 for it is like a mountain

1:17 that he fears will fall upon him and destroy him.

1:20 His heart is as if it were between the wings of a bird [trembling with awe].

1:23 You find him broken-hearted,

1:26 with flowing tears,

1:29 finding a lesson in every event.

1:32 So act quickly, and beware of the minor sins,

1:35 for they have one who will demand them from Allah.

1:38 Act quickly to return grievances

1:41 to their rightful owners or seek their absolution,

1:44 and ask for their forgiveness,

1:47 for repentance is not complete without that.

1:51 It has been authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

1:54 said: "Rights will surely be restored

1:57 to their owners on the Day of Resurrection,

2:00 until the hornless sheep is satisfied

2:03 by the horned sheep."

2:06 He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, also said:

2:09 "Whoever has committed an injustice against his brother,

2:12 let him seek his absolution today,

2:15 before there is neither dirham nor dinar."

2:18 If he has good deeds, [they will be taken],

2:22 and if he has no good deeds,

2:25 the sins of his counterpart will be taken

2:28 and cast upon him.

2:31 In the Hadith Qudsi,

2:34 Allah says on the Day of Resurrection:

2:37 "I am the King, I am the Judge."

2:40 It is not fitting for anyone among the people of Paradise

2:43 to enter Paradise

2:46 while someone else has a grievance against him, even a slap,

2:49 because on the Day of Resurrection,

2:52 you will dispute before your Lord.

2:56 When death approached 'Ubada Ibn al-Samit,

2:59 may Allah be pleased with him, he said: "Bring out

3:02 my bed to the courtyard of the house."

3:05 They brought it out, and he said:

3:08 "Gather for me my dependents, my servants,

3:11 my neighbors, and those who used to visit me."

3:14 They gathered them for him,

3:17 and he said: "My time in this world is coming to an end,

3:20 and this night is the first night of the Hereafter.

3:23 I do not know

3:26 if I have committed any wrong against any of you

3:29 with my hand or my tongue.

3:32 By Him in whose hand is the soul of 'Ubada,

3:35 there is retribution on the Day of Resurrection.

3:38 I adjure anyone among you who feels

3:41 that I have wronged him in any way to come forward."

3:45 They all wept and cried out, saying:

3:48 "Rather, you were a father,

3:51 a teacher, and a guide to us."

3:54 He said: "You offer me tears,

3:57 but what good are tears? Have you forgiven me?"

4:00 They cried out and said: "Yes."

4:03 He said: "O Allah, bear witness.

4:06 O Allah, bear witness.

4:09 O Allah, bear witness.

4:12 I bear witness that there is no god but Allah."

4:15 Then he met Allah.

4:18 If only people today,

4:21 whose records are full of grievances,

4:24 would look as 'Ubada Ibn al-Samit looked.

4:27 So, it is about taking the initiative before

4:30 the end comes. Act quickly with repentance

4:33 and return grievances to their owners

4:36 before you are overtaken.

4:43 Happiness is in the hearts.

4:46 Increase your closeness

4:49 to the Most Merciful, so that

4:52 joy may embrace you.

4:55 Attach your soul

4:58 to your Lord and fill

5:01 the horizons with light.

5:04 For whoever obeys the Lord

5:07 dissolves into the sweetest feeling.

5:10 There is darkness, then light,

5:14 and revelation follows it.

5:17 If Allah wills

5:20 a thing, He says to it,

5:23 "Be," and it is.
