0:11 Increase your closeness to the Most Merciful.

0:26 May Allah preserve him.

0:28 Whoever obeys the Lord dissolves into the sweetest of feelings.

0:35 And in the Hereafter, there is a test.

0:37 Just as there are examinations for students in schools in this world,

0:44 So too is there an examination in the Hereafter for all servants.

0:48 Yet, what a vast difference there is between the two examinations.

0:52 For the examination of this world, even if there is loss in it,

0:55 It can be compensated for.

0:57 But the examination of the Hereafter,

0:59 Cannot be compensated for under any circumstances.

1:03 And every examination must have questions.

1:06 The questions of the worldly examination are limited.

1:10 As for the questions of the Hereafter,

1:12 They are comprehensive, covering everything that occurred in a person's life.

1:17 They are questions about actions,

1:20 Questions about words,

1:22 Questions about wealth,

1:24 Questions about intentions,

1:26 Questions about beliefs,

1:28 Questions about time,

1:30 Questions about trusts,

1:32 And questions about grievances and rights.

1:35 They are many questions;

1:37 Indeed, they are questions about everything, great and small, significant and trivial.

1:43 Allah the Exalted says:

1:45 ﴾So by your Lord, We will surely question them all﴿

1:52 ﴾About what they used to do.﴿

1:56 What a momentous situation this is,

2:01 And what terrifying questions these are,

2:04 Directed at the one being held accountable before the King of kings and Lord of lords.

2:09 Allah the Exalted says:

2:11 ﴾And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned.﴿

2:16 On the authority of Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him,

2:20 From the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said:

2:23 "The feet of the son of Adam will not move from before his Lord until he is asked about five things:

2:28 About his life, in what he spent it;

2:30 About his youth, in what he wore it out;

2:33 About his wealth, from where he earned it and in what he spent it;

2:37 And what he did with what he knew."

2:40 And on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both,

2:43 That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

2:47 "Indeed, every one of you is a shepherd and every one of you is responsible for his flock.

2:52 The leader who is over the people is a shepherd,

2:56 And he is responsible for his flock.

2:58 A man is a shepherd over his household,

3:01 And he is responsible for his flock.

3:03 A woman is a shepherd over her husband's house and his children,

3:08 And she is responsible for them.

3:10 A man's servant is a shepherd over his master's wealth,

3:14 And he is responsible for it.

3:16 Indeed, every one of you is responsible for his flock."

3:19 This examination is the true examination,

3:24 For which a person must prepare in the best possible way.

3:29 So strive to ensure your answers are pleasing to the One who directs these questions to you.

3:36 In the presence of Allah, happiness pours into the hearts.

3:45 Increase your closeness to the Most Merciful so that joy may embrace you.

3:53 Attach your soul to your Lord and fill the surroundings with light.

4:01 Everyone who obeys the Lord dissolves into the sweetest of feelings.

4:08 It is darkness, then light, and revelation thereafter.

4:16 If Allah wills a thing, He says to it "Be," and it is.
