Receive it with the receptivity of one who is eager to learn.

For knowledge is not harvested by force,

nor is it gained through haste,

or by rapid ascent.

Rather, it should be a gentle climb,

and a subtle progression,

which makes the sciences beloved and grounds the proofs,

and secures the subtleties and unique points.

For knowledge is one hadith and then another,
