2:27 However, his greatest teacher and greatest mentor

2:31 It was Abdullah bin Abbas

2:34 Ink of the nation of Muhammad

2:36 And its abundant knowledge

2:38 Saeed bin Jubair joined Abdullah bin Abbas

2:42 The shadow is necessary for its owner

2:44 So he learned from him the Qur’an and its interpretation

2:49 He gained knowledge of religion at his hands

2:52 Learn interpretation from him

2:55 He studied the language

2:57 He gained the greatest mastery of it

3:00 Until tomorrow, there is no one of the people of his time on the face of the earth

3:08 Then he toured the lands of the Muslims

3:11 In search of knowledge, God willing, to roam

3:15 When he achieved what he wanted of knowledge

3:19 He made Kufa his home and residence

3:22 He became a teacher and imam for its people

3:26 He used to lead people in Ramadan

3:29 He recites the reading of Abdullah bin Masoud at night

3:33 And another reading Zaid bin Thabit

3:36 And I started reading others

3:39 And so on

3:41 And if he prayed alone

3:43 Perhaps he read the entire Qur’an

3:47 And if he passed by the word of God Almighty

3:50 He went through some of the verses of promise and threat

4:28 He decided to travel to the Sacred House twice every year

4:40 And another in Dhul-Qa'dah, in ihram for Hajj

4:44 He was a student of knowledge and the desires for goodness, righteousness and advice

4:49 They flock to Kufa

4:51 To draw fresh wealth from Saeed bin Jubayr’s wellsprings

4:56 And they take advantage of his righteous guidance

4:59 This asks him what fear is

5:02 He answers him by saying:

5:04 Fear is to fear God Almighty

5:07 Until his fear prevents you from committing sins

5:11 And that one asks him what the dhikr is

5:15 He says that remembrance is obedience to God Almighty

5:20 Whoever turns to God and obeys Him has remembered Him

5:24 And whoever turns away from it and does not obey him

5:27 I will not remember him even if he spends the night praying and reciting hymns

5:34 When Saeed bin Jubayr took it, Kufa was his residence

5:40 Subject to Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi

5:43 Al-Hajjaj was the governor of Iraq and the Levant at that time

5:48 And beyond the river

5:51 At that time, he was at the height of his power and authority

5:56 This was after Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr was killed

6:00 He eliminated his movement

6:02 Iraq was subjected to Sultan bin Umayyah

6:05 And put out the flames of revolutions existing here and there

6:09 And put the sword to the necks of the servants

6:12 It spread terror throughout the country

6:15 Until hearts were filled with awe of him and fear of his oppression

6:21 Then, God willing, a clash would occur between Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi

6:26 And between Abdul Rahman bin Al-Ash'ath

6:29 One of his top commanders

6:31 And the clash turns into a strife that consumes everything green and dry

6:36 It left deep wounds on the body of Muslims

6:41 He was aware of this strife

6:44 Al-Hajjaj sent Ibn Al-Ash'ath with an army to invade Ratabil

6:48 Turkish king of the regions beyond Sijistan

6:53 The valiant leader Al-Muzaffar conquered a large part of the country of Ratabil

6:59 He occupied fortified fortresses from his lands

7:02 He took many spoils from his cities and villages

7:08 Then he sent messengers to Al-Hajjaj who brought him good news of the great victory

7:13 They carried with them a fifth of the spoils

7:23 He asked him for permission to stop fighting for a period of time

7:28 To test the country's entrances and exits

7:31 It depends on its nature and conditions

7:35 This was before venturing into its remote, unknown reefs

7:40 Exposing the victorious army to dangers

7:43 Al-Hajjaj became angry with him

7:45 He sent him a letter describing him as cowardly and submissive

7:50 He warns him of woe and destruction

7:53 He threatens to step down from leadership of the army

7:57 Abd al-Rahman gathered the leaders of the soldiers and the battalion commanders

8:02 He read to them the book of pilgrims

8:05 He consulted them about it

8:07 So they called him to go out against him

8:09 And the initiative to renounce obedience to him

8:12 Abdul Rahman said to them

8:14 Do you pledge allegiance to me on that?

8:17 And you support me in his struggle

8:19 Until God purifies the land of Iraq from its filth

8:23 The soldiers pledged allegiance to him for what he called them to do

8:27 Heb Abdul Rahman bin Al-Ash'ath

8:31 With his army full of hatred for pilgrims

8:35 It broke out between him and the armies of Ben Youssef Al-Thaqafi

8:39 Fierce battles

8:41 He won a decisive victory

8:44 So Sijistan was captured

8:47 And all of Persia

8:49 Then he came, wanting to seize Kufa and Basra from the hands of Al-Hajjaj

8:54 While the fires of war were burning between the two teams

8:59 Ibn Al-Ash'ath was moving from Dhafar to Dhafar

9:03 Al-Hajjaj made speeches that strengthened his opponent

9:07 This is because the governors of the cities wrote letters to Al-Hajjaj in which they said:

9:13 The people of the Dhimmah have begun to convert to Islam

9:18 To get rid of paying the tax

9:21 They left the villages where they worked

9:24 They settled in the cities

9:26 The abscess has disappeared

9:29 The levies have gone bankrupt

9:32 Al-Hajjaj wrote letters to his governors in Basra and elsewhere

9:37 He orders them to gather all the dhimmis who fled to the cities

9:42 And to return them to the villages

9:44 No matter how long they are displaced from it

9:47 So the governors announced the matter

9:49 They evacuated large numbers of them from their homes

9:54 They kept them away from their sources of livelihood

9:57 They gathered them on the outskirts of the cities

10:00 They took their women and children with them

10:04 They forced them to leave for the villages

10:07 After a long time had passed since they had separated from her

10:12 Then the women, children, and elderly began to cry

10:16 They scream and call for help

10:19 And they call Wa Muhammad, he is Wa Muhammad

10:23 They were confused about what they were doing

10:25 And where are they going?

10:28 So the jurists and readers of Basra went out to them

10:32 To help them and intercede for them

10:35 They couldn't do that

10:37 They started crying because they were crying

10:40 They seek help for their affliction

10:44 Abdul Rahman bin Al-Ash'ath seized this opportunity

10:48 He called on jurists and readers to support him

10:52 A group of the eminent followers and imams of the Muslims responded to him

10:58 And at their head is Saeed bin Jubair

11:01 And Abdul Rahman bin Abi Laila

11:03 Al-Shaabi and Abu Al-Bakhtari

11:06 And others and others

11:08 A war broke out between the two groups

11:11 The first victory there was for Ibn al-Ash'ath and those with him over al-Hajjaj and his soldiers

11:18 Then the balance of the pilgrims began to tip the balance little by little

11:23 Until Ibn Al-Ash'ath defeated his denier

11:26 He escaped by himself

11:29 His army surrendered to Al-Hajjaj and his soldiers

11:33 Al-Hajjaj ordered his herald to call out the defeated fighters

11:38 And to invite them to renew his pledge of allegiance

11:41 Most of them responded to him

11:43 Some of them hid from him

11:45 Among those hiding was Saeed bin Jubair, may God be pleased with him

11:51 When those who surrendered began to advance one by one, they pledged allegiance to him

11:57 They were surprised by something they had not expected

12:01 So he started saying to one of them

12:04 Bear witness against yourself

12:06 That you have disbelieved by breaking your pledge of allegiance to the Commander of the Faithful

12:11 If he says yes, his pledge of allegiance will be renewed and he will be released

12:17 If he said no, kill him

12:20 Some of them were subject to him

12:23 He admits to himself disbelief

12:25 To save himself from being killed

12:28 Some of them were arrogant and denounced this

12:32 He pays his neck as a price for his pride and denunciation

12:37 News of this terrible massacre spread

12:41 In which several thousand men were killed

12:45 A few thousand survived

12:48 After they stamped themselves with disbelief

12:51 Including that a long-lived sheikh from the Khath’am tribe

12:56 He was isolated from both groups, residing beyond the Euphrates

13:01 He was taken to the pilgrims along with those who were taken to him

13:05 When he entered, he asked him about his condition

13:08 He said, "I have been still since this fire broke out."

13:12 Retired behind this river

13:15 Waiting for the outcome of the fight

13:18 When she appeared and won

13:20 I came to you pledging allegiance

13:23 He said to him, “Fuck you.”

13:26 Will you sit lurking and not fight with your prince?

13:30 Then he rebuked him, saying:

13:32 Bear witness against yourself that you are an infidel

13:36 He said: “What a miserable man I am.”

13:39 If you have worshiped God for eighty years

13:42 Then after that I bear witness against myself of disbelief

13:46 He said to him, "Then I will kill you."

13:49 He said, "Even if you kill me."

13:52 By God, the rest of my life is nothing but the blood of a donkey

13:56 He drinks in the morning and dies in the evening

14:00 I wait for death in the morning and evening

14:04 So do what you want

14:06 Al-Hajjaj said to his executioner

14:09 Snap his neck

14:11 The executioner beheaded him

14:13 No one from Al-Hajjaj’s Shiites or his enemy remained in the council

14:18 Except for the greatest Sheikh Al-Muammar

14:21 inherited from him and had mercy on him

14:24 Then he called you Mil bin Ziyad Al-Nakha'i

14:30 And he said to him: Do you bear witness against yourself of disbelief?

14:34 He said, “By God, I do not bear witness.”

14:37 He said, "Then I will kill you."

14:40 He said: Judge as you decide

14:44 The appointment between us is with God

14:47 And after the murder, the reckoning

14:50 Al-Hajjaj said to him

14:52 That day the argument will be against you, not for you

14:55 He told him that if you were the judge on that day

15:00 Al-Hajjaj said

15:02 Kill him

15:04 So he came and was killed

15:06 Then another man came to him

15:09 He hated him and wanted to kill him

15:12 Because his mockery of him was conveyed to him

15:16 So he quickly said:

15:19 I see a man in front of me

15:22 I don't think he bears witness to his disbelief

15:25 The man said

15:27 Don't involve me and deceive me about myself

15:30 I am a disbeliever of the people of the earth

15:33 And more disbelievers than Pharaoh with stakes

15:36 So let him go

15:38 He is desperate to kill him

15:42 News of that terrible death spread

15:45 In which several thousand steadfast believers were killed

15:50 A few thousand survived

15:53 Those who are forced to brand themselves as disbelievers

15:57 Saeed bin Jubair was certain

15:59 If it falls into the hands of pilgrims

16:02 Tomorrow between two and no third

16:06 Either you snap his neck

16:09 Or he confesses to himself as a disbeliever

16:12 They are two things that are sweeter and bitter

16:15 So he chose to leave Iraq

16:18 And to hide from sight

16:21 And he continued to strike in God’s vast earth

16:24 Hidden from Al-Hajjaj and his eyes

16:27 Until he took refuge in a small village in the lands of Mecca

16:32 Ten complete arguments remained as they were

16:37 It was enough to extinguish the pilgrims' fires

16:40 The pilgrims burning in his heart

16:43 And to remove the grudges in his soul

16:47 However, something happened that no one expected

16:51 That is because he came to Mecca

16:54 A new ruler of the Umayyads

16:57 He is Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Qasri

17:00 Saeed bin Jubair’s companions became anxious

17:03 Scared of him

17:05 Because they knew of his bad behavior

17:08 He expected evil at his hands

17:11 Some of them came to Saeed and told him

17:15 This man came to Mecca

17:18 By God, we do not guarantee it against you

17:21 So respond to our request and leave this country

17:25 He said, “By God, I fled until I became ashamed before God.”

17:31 I was determined to stay in this place

17:35 And let God do whatever He wants

17:38 Khaled did not lie about the bad opinion that people thought of him

17:45 As soon as he knew the whereabouts of Saeed bin Jubair

17:48 Until he sent him a company of his soldiers

17:52 He ordered them to take him in chains to Al-Hajjaj in the city of Wasit

17:57 The soldiers closed in on the Sheikh's house

18:00 They put the handcuffs in his hands

18:02 On the wife of some of his companions

18:05 They gave him permission to go to Al-Hajjaj

18:08 This soul meets them with peace of mind

18:12 Then he turned to his friends and said

18:15 I only saw myself killed at the hands of that oppressor

18:20 I and two of my friends were on a night of worship

18:25 We felt the sweetness of supplication

18:28 So we called upon God with what we called upon

18:31 We prayed to Him as He wanted us to pray

18:35 Then we asked God Almighty to write the martyrdom for us

18:40 God has provided it for the owners of both

18:44 And I kept waiting for her

18:46 Then he had hardly finished speaking

18:50 Until a small structure appeared on him

18:54 She saw him tied up and the soldiers were leading him away

18:58 She clung to him and started crying and sobbing

19:02 He gently pushed her away from him and said to her

19:06 Tell your mother, daughter, that our date is Paradise, God willing

19:13 Then he went

19:17 The soldiers reached the imam, the devout and ascetic rabbi

19:21 Pious, pure and pious city of Wasit

19:26 They brought it to the pilgrims

19:28 When he was with him, he looked at him with hatred and said

19:33 Fish

19:34 And he said

19:35 Saeed bin Jubair

19:37 And he said

19:38 Rather, Shaqi bin Kasir

19:41 And he said

19:42 In fact, my mother knew my name better than you

19:46 And he said

19:47 What do you say about Muhammad?

20:22 The successor of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

20:26 He went well and lived happily

20:29 He followed the method of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him

22:33 And it pushes you into Hell

22:37 By God, I will kill you

22:40 He said

22:41 So you ruin my world

22:44 And I will spoil your hereafter

22:46 He said

22:47 Choose any killers you want

22:50 He said

22:51 Rather, choose it for yourself, Hajjaj

22:55 By God, killers will not kill me

22:58 Unless God kills you like her in the afterlife

23:02 He said

23:03 Do you want me to pardon you?

23:06 He said

23:07 If it is chastity, then it is from God Almighty

23:12 There is no innocence or excuse for you

23:15 Al-Hajjaj became angry and said:

23:22 Al-Hajjaj said to him

23:31 And God's dream is upon you

23:37 So Saeed faced the kiss and said

23:40 I turned my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth, upright

23:45 And I am not one of the polytheists

23:48 And he said

23:49 Turn his face away from the Qiblah

23:52 And he said

23:53 Wherever you turn, there is the face of God

23:57 And he said

23:58 They pinned him to the ground

24:01 And he said

24:02 From it We created you and into it We will return you

24:06 From there We will bring you out another time

24:10 And he said

24:11 Slay the enemy of God

24:13 I have never seen a man more knowledgeable about the verses of the Qur’an than him

24:18 Saeed raised his hands and said

24:21 Oh God, do not allow the pilgrims to dominate anyone again

24:26 Only fifteen days have passed since the death of Saeed bin Jubair

24:33 Even the meat of pilgrims

24:36 The severity of the disease became more severe for him

24:39 He would fall asleep for an hour and wake up for another hour

24:42 If he takes a short nap

24:45 He woke up terrified and screaming

24:48 This is Saeed bin Jubair taking my throat

25:13 What did God do to you regarding those you killed, Hajjaj?

25:17 And he said

25:19 God killed me with every single person

25:23 He killed me with Saeed bin Jubayr, seventy times

25:27 Saeed bin Jubair was killed

25:36 There is no one on earth who does not need his knowledge

25:42 Ahmed bin Hanben
