6:44 He moved with his parents to Basra

6:50 Hence, Al-Hasan was attributed to Basra

6:53 He was known among the people as Al-Hasan Al-Basri

8:08 The cause of Hasan al-Basri spread throughout the country

8:15 He made the caliphs and princes wonder about him

8:19 And they expect news of him

8:21 Khaled bin Safwan said:

8:26 I found Maslama bin Abdul Malik in confusion

8:30 He said to me, “Tell me, Khaled, about Hassan Basra.”

8:35 I think you know something about him that no one else knows

8:40 I said, “May God bless the prince.”

8:43 I am the best person to tell you about him with knowledge

8:47 I am his neighbor in his house and his sitter in his council

8:54 Maslama said, “Give me what you have.”

8:57 I said that he is a man whose secret is as good as his public

9:02 And his words are like his actions

9:05 If he enjoined a good deed, he would do it among the people

9:09 If he forbade an evil, people would abandon it

9:22 Asking for what he has

9:24 Maslama said, “It is enough for you, Khaled, it is enough for you.”

9:28 How can people go astray like this?

9:32 When Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi took over Iraq

10:50 He built higher than we built

10:53 Then God destroyed Pharaoh

10:56 And he came to what we built

10:59 I wish Al-Hajjaj knew that the people of heaven hated him

11:03 And the people of the earth have deceived him

11:06 And it went on flowing like this

11:09 Until one of the listeners took pity on him

11:12 From the curse of pilgrims

11:14 He said to him: It is enough for you, Abu Saeed

11:17 Enough for you

11:19 Al-Hassan said to him

11:21 God has taken a covenant from the people of knowledge

11:24 To make it clear to people and not hide it

11:27 And the next day

11:30 Al-Hajjaj entered his meeting room, feeling angry
