Praise be to Allah, the Giver of abundant gifts, the Bestower of blessings.

The Exalter who removes calamities and repels misfortunes.

He knows the hidden and sees what is in the depths of darkness.

I praise Him, Glorified be His Majesty, for He created us from nothingness,

And sustained us with His bounties,

And guided us to Islam.

So to Allah belongs all praise, before and after.

I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, having no partner,

The Responder to supplications,

The Remover of afflictions,

The Knower of secret whispers.

You are the refuge when crises encompass us,

And You are the shelter for those whose resources have failed them.

You are the One called upon in every calamity,

You are the God, the treasure, and the hope.

You are the hope for those whose paths have been blocked,

You are the guide for those who have lost their way.

We have turned to You while our hopes are placed,

Upon You, and everyone is yearning and beseeching.

And I bear witness that our master, our prophet, and our beloved, Muhammad, is the servant of Allah and His Messenger,

His chosen one and His intimate friend.

I bear witness, and you bear witness, that he conveyed the message,

Fulfilled the trust, and gave sincere counsel to the Ummah.

Through him, Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, removed the distress.

He strove for the sake of Allah as He ought to be striven for until certainty (death) came to him.

He left us upon a clear path,

Its night is like its day;

None deviates from it except one who is doomed,

And none follows it except every repentant seeker.

Allah has inscribed his mention upon the minarets,

And thus ignited a great love in the hearts.

Allah commanded the believers, saying:

“Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” (33:56)

O Allah, send prayers, peace, and increase blessings,

Upon Your servant, Messenger, Prophet, and beloved, Muhammad,

And upon his family and his Companions,

And those who follow his guidance,

And walk upon his path,

And tread in his footsteps,

And grant them abundant peace until the Day of Judgment.

To proceed, O servants of Allah:

I advise you and myself to fear Allah,

For it is the commandment of Allah to us and to those before us.

“Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. And We charged those who received the Scripture before you, and (We charge) you, that ye keep your duty toward Allah. And if ye disbelieve, lo! unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and Allah is ever Absolute, Owner of Praise.” (4:131)

And among His successful party.

O Allah, answer our prayer.

O community of believers,

Life is full of trials,

With its many burdens and tasks,

And the competition within it,

And the struggle for its desires,

And the weakness of faith from time to time,

And the absence of virtuous values in the souls.

In some people, blameworthy morals appear,
3:41
Along with erroneous behaviors,
3:44
And evil deeds,
3:46
Whose impact is dangerous upon the individual and society,
3:51
And which become a cause for injustice and tyranny,
3:55
And a manifestation of aggression.

Among these morals is,

Evil plotting.
4:02
It is the intent to cause harm to others,
4:05
Relying on power and authority,
4:09
Or on intelligence, wealth, and status.
4:12
It may be,
4:13
That an individual displays goodness,
4:16
While concealing evil,
4:18
And weaving conspiracies,
4:20
In secret,
4:21
To obtain gains,
4:23
And worldly ambitions,
4:26
Without any right.
4:27
As for the plotting of Allah,
4:30
It means,
4:31
That Allah establishes the truth and invalidates falsehood,
4:35
And He leads the oppressors and the disobedient on gradually,
4:38
And grants them respite,
4:40
Then,
4:41
He seizes them for their sins.
4:44
The Noble Qur'an,
4:46
Has warned against this character,
4:48
And clarified the traits of those who possess it,
4:51
And explained that the consequence of their plotting is evil,
4:54
And their end is dire,
4:56
In this world and the Hereafter.

The Almighty said:
5:00
“And when those who disbelieve plot against thee (O Muhammad) to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters.” (8:30)

To restrain you,

Or kill you,
5:07
Or drive you out.

They plot, and Allah plots;

And Allah is the best of plotters.

And the Exalted said:

“And there were in the city nine persons who made mischief in the land and reformed not.” (27:48)

And they do not set things right.

They said,
5:23
"Swear by Allah,
5:25
That we will surely attack him and his family by night,
5:27
Then we will say to his guardian,
5:30
“They said: Swear one to another by Allah that we verily will attack him and his household by night, and afterward we will surely say unto his friend: We witnessed not the destruction of his household. And lo! we are truthtellers.” (27:49)

And indeed, we are truthful."

And they plotted a plot,
5:37
And they plotted a plot,
5:38
“So they plotted a plot: and We plotted a plot, while they perceived not.” (27:50)

So look,

“Then see the nature of the consequence of their plotting, for lo! We destroyed them and their people, every one.” (27:51)

That We destroyed them,
5:48
And their people, all together.
5:50
“See, yonder are their dwellings empty and in ruins because they did wrong. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for a people who have knowledge.” (27:52)

Indeed, in that is a sign,

A sign for a people who know.

And evil plotting, O servants of Allah,

Is a result,

Of weak faith,
6:07
And it is a form of injustice,

By accusing others,

By accusing them,

With slander and falsehood.
6:15
And injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection.

Allah has forbidden injustice for Himself,
6:21
And made it forbidden among His servants.

Among the manifestations of injustice,
6:26
Is filing malicious lawsuits,
6:28
Which have no basis.
6:30
For whoever brings a case to the judge with a false argument,
6:34
And he rules in his favor because of it,
6:36
Then he is consuming,
6:38
The wealth of another unjustly.
6:41
On the authority of Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her,

From the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him,

That he heard a dispute at the door of his chamber,
6:51
So he went out to them,
6:52
And said, "I am only a human being,
6:56
And the disputants come to me,
6:58
And perhaps some of you are more eloquent than others,

So I think he is truthful,

And I judge in his favor accordingly.

So whoever I judge in his favor regarding the right of a Muslim,

Then it is only a piece of fire,

So let him take it,
7:15
Or let him leave it."

Narrated by al-Bukhari.

It is not permissible to litigate in malicious, false lawsuits.

The Almighty said:

“Lo! We reveal unto thee the Scripture with the truth, that thou mayst judge between mankind by that which Allah showeth thee. And be not thou a pleader for the treacherous;” (4:105)

Sheikh al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, said,

Meaning: Do not dispute,

On behalf of one whose treachery you have known,

By claiming what is not his,
7:36
Or denying a right owed by him.

In this is evidence for the prohibition of disputing in falsehood,
7:43
And acting as a representative for the wrongdoer in disputes,
7:46
Whether religious or worldly rights.

Based on this,

The agent,

If he knows that his client is in the wrong in his claim,

It is not lawful for him to dispute on behalf of the traitor.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

"Whoever disputes in falsehood,
8:04
While he knows it,
8:06
He will remain in the wrath of Allah,
8:08
Until he desists."

Narrated by Abu Dawud,

And authenticated by al-Albani.

And among the forms of malice and slander,

And causes of sin and loss,

Is accusing the innocent,

Of what is not in them,

Out of greed or envy.

The Exalted said:

"And whoever earns a sin,

Or an offense,
8:32
Then blames it on an innocent person,

Then blames it on an innocent person,

He has borne a slander,
8:39
And a manifest sin."

So fear injustice,

And fear the supplication of the oppressed.

Do not oppress anyone,
8:47
So that his supplication does not cause you pain.

And likewise,

When Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas was accused,

And he is one of the ten promised Paradise,

They said about him,

That he does not lead the military expedition,

Nor does he distribute equally,

Nor is he just in judgment.

Meaning that he abandons Jihad,

And does not distribute fairly from the public treasury,

And is unjust in his ruling,

When he judges between two disputants.

So Sa'd said,

"By Allah,

I will surely supplicate against the one who accused me,

With three things:

O Allah, if this servant of Yours,

Who said these words,

And he knew who he was,

If he was a liar,
9:31
Acting out of hypocrisy and for fame."

This caution regarding the supplication of the oppressed—

"O Allah, if this servant of Yours is a liar,
9:39
having stood up out of hypocrisy and for the sake of reputation,
9:41
then prolong his life,
9:43
prolong his poverty,
9:44
and expose him to trials."

This man—

he was seen after that,

an elderly man,
9:51
his eyebrows having fallen over his eyes from old age,

accosting young women in the street,

winking at them.

When asked, he would say,

"An old man afflicted by trial;

the supplication of Sa'd has struck me."

In this is the permissibility of supplicating against a specific oppressor.

And likewise,

Allah answered the supplication of Sa'd,

for he was one whose supplication was answered.

when Sa'id Ibn Zayd was accused

having taken a portion of land belonging to his neighbor,

she accused him before the Caliph.

He said, may Allah be pleased with him,

"Would I

take anything from her land

after what I heard from the Messenger of Allah,

peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?

Never, by Allah."

He was asked, "What did you hear?"

He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah,

peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say:

'Whoever takes a span of land unjustly,

it will be tied around his neck

down to the seven earths on the Day of Resurrection.'"

Then he said,

"O Allah, if she is a liar,

then take away her sight,
10:54
and cause her to die on her own land."

The narrator said,

"She did not die

until she lost her sight,

and then, while she was walking on her land,

she fell into a pit and died."

So beware, beware

of accusing a Muslim with a malicious claim,

accusing him of hypocrisy,

for you will bear the burden of that sin and transgression,

and that is a grave slander.

This is a form of oppression.

Perhaps through oppression,

you may be able to possess everything you desire,

but with one supplication from an oppressed person,

you lose everything you possessed.

Do not oppress us

when you are in a position of power,

for the end of oppression brings you only regret.

Your eyes sleep while the oppressed is awake,
11:42
calling out against you, and the eye of Allah does not sleep.

Be mindful, O servant of Allah,

of oppressing anyone,

or making a false accusation,

or wronging anyone,

for if he calls out against you,
11:53
if he calls out against you,

then this oppressed person has transferred

the case file

from the earth

to the Judge of the heavens.

So beware, beware

of accusing an innocent person,

or oppressing any of the servants of Allah.

We ask Allah to spare us from oppression and its people,

and to make us

among His just servants.

O Allah, answer our prayer.

May Allah bless me and you through the Great Qur'an,

and benefit me and you with the verses and the wise reminder it contains.

I say what you hear, and I seek Allah's forgiveness for myself and for you, so seek His forgiveness,

for He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, Lord of the good,

God of the first and the last.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,

alone, with no partner,

and upon his family and all his Companions.

from malice and aggression.

For the rights of people

are based on strict accountability,

and they are not absolved merely by repentance alone,

by returning them to their owners

or seeking their pardon.

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

"Whoever usurps the right of a Muslim by his oath,

Allah has made the Fire mandatory for him,

and has forbidden Paradise to him."

A man asked him, "O Messenger of Allah,

even if it is a small thing?"

He said, "Even if it is a twig of an Arak tree."

for that is

a great loss

in this world and the Hereafter.

We ask Allah, the Majestic,

by His most beautiful names and exalted attributes,

to spare us from oppression and its people,

and to make us among His just servants.

O Allah, guide us to the best of character,

for none guides to the best of it except You,

and turn away from us its evil,

for none turns away its evil except You.

O Allah, grant us knowledge and action,

and inspire us with the testimony of faith when our time arrives.

O Allah, O Self-Sufficient, O Enricher,

enrich us by Your bounty and generosity,

and by Your lawful provisions, keep us away from Your prohibitions,

and enrich us by Your bounty, independent of anyone else.

O Allah, O You by whose command the morning breathes,

and by whose generosity provisions are distributed,

O You who have showered us with Your bounty,

shower upon us Your blessings, mercies, and goodness,

and cause us to reach the highest ranks of this world

and the loftiest stations of the Hereafter,

by Your mercy, generosity, and bounty, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, O You who have aided us with rain,

aid our hearts with faith,

contentment, and certainty.

O Everlasting,

O Vast in giving,

O Possessor of generosity and blessings,

O You whose remembrance is a medicine and a cure,

and whose obedience is happiness and bliss,

O Allah, keep misery and hardship away from us,

and grant us well-being from every evil and trial,

and elevate our status on earth and in heaven,

and take care of us with Your mercy in times of ease and adversity.

O Allah, relieve our distress,

remove our anguish,

settle our debts,

grant well-being to those among us who are afflicted,

heal our sick,

have mercy on our dead,

release our captives,
15:23
and have mercy on our dead,

by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, O Hearer of supplication,

O Vast in giving,
15:30
“And thou (Muhammad) art not occupied with any business and thou recitest not a Lecture from this (Scripture), and ye (mankind) perform no act, but We are Witness of you when ye are engaged therein. And not an atom's weight in the earth or in the sky escapeth your Lord, nor what is less than that or greater than that, but it is (written) in a clear Book.” (10:61)

O Allah, we ask You for Your pleasure and Paradise,

and we seek refuge in You from Your displeasure and the Fire.

Grant us security in our homelands,

rectify our leaders and those in authority over us,

and grant victory to our soldiers on the borders.

O Allah, grant victory to our soldiers on the borders.

O Allah, grant victory to our soldiers on the borders.

And grant victory to our oppressed brothers everywhere,

above every land and beneath every sky.

O Allah, we love You,

so do not withhold Your bounty from us because of our sins.

O Allah, forgive the one who built this mosque,

and everyone who manages its affairs and matters.

And just as You have gathered us in this mosque,

gather us in the highest Paradise

with our Prophet and our beloved,

peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

and our parents and those we love.

O Allah, have mercy on us with Your mercy that encompasses all things.

O Allah, adorn us with Your beautiful covering,

and place beneath that covering a righteous deed that You are pleased with.

We have called upon You in our distress as You commanded us,

so answer us as You promised us.

“Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)” (37:180)
