0:22 Indeed, all praise is due to Allah.

0:24 We praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness.

0:27 We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and from our bad deeds.

0:32 Whomsoever Allah guides, none can lead astray,

0:35 and whomsoever He leads astray, none can guide.

0:38 I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner,

0:43 and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

0:47 “O ye who believe! Observe your duty to Allah with right observance, and die not save as those who have surrendered (unto Him)” (3:102)

0:56 “O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them twain hath spread abroad a multitude of men and women. Be careful of your duty toward Allah in Whom ye claim (your rights) of one another, and toward the wombs (that bare you). Lo! Allah hath been a watcher over you.” (4:1)

1:02 "And created from it its mate."

1:18 “O ye who believe! Guard your duty to Allah, and speak words straight to the point;” (33:70)

1:23 “He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory.” (33:71)

1:28 “He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory.” (33:71)

1:34 To proceed:

1:35 Praise be to Allah, whose mercy and knowledge encompass all things,

1:40 Who has showered His allies with His blessings, both manifest and hidden,

1:45 and sent among them a Messenger from their own midst by birth,

1:49 and from among them, non-Arab and Arab alike.

1:52 He is His trustee over His revelation, His chosen one from among His creation,

1:56 and His emissary between Him and His servants,

2:00 sent with the sound religion and the straight path.

2:04 Allah sent him as a mercy to the worlds,

2:08 a leader for the righteous,

2:10 and a decisive proof over all creation.

2:14 Allah sent him after an intermission in the succession of messengers,

2:17 guiding through him to the most steadfast of paths and the clearest of ways.

2:22 He made it obligatory upon His servants to obey him, honor him, venerate him, love him,

2:28 and fulfill his rights,

2:30 while closing all paths to His Paradise

2:32 so that it will not be opened to anyone except through his path.

2:36 He expanded his chest for him,

2:38 exalted his renown,

2:40 and removed from him his burden,

2:42 decreeing humiliation and belittlement upon whoever opposes his command.

2:46 He is the soundest of people in intellect and forbearance,

2:49 the most abundant in knowledge and understanding,

2:52 the strongest in certainty and resolve,

2:55 and the most compassionate and merciful toward them.

2:58 Allah purified him in soul and body,

3:01 granted him wisdom and sound judgment,

3:03 and through him opened blind eyes,

3:06 wrapped hearts,

3:08 and deaf ears.

3:10 Indeed, Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He,

3:13 is the Sole Creator who selects whom He wills from among creation.

3:17 Allah the Exalted said:

3:19 “Thy Lord bringeth to pass what He willeth and chooseth. They have never any choice. Glorified be Allah and Exalted above all that they associate (with Him)!” (28:68)

3:23 And since the servant's happiness in both abodes

3:26 is tied to the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),

3:30 as Allah the Exalted said:

3:32 “And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest.” (33:36)

3:35 “And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest.” (33:36)

3:38 “And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest.” (33:36)

3:41 And Almighty Allah said:

3:43 “Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (3:31)

3:46 "Say, 'If you love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you

3:48 and forgive you your sins.

3:51 And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.'"

3:54 Therefore, it is obligatory upon everyone who counsels themselves and desires their own salvation and happiness

4:00 to learn enough of his guidance, biography, and affairs

4:03 to remove themselves from the ranks of those ignorant of him

4:06 and be counted among his followers.

4:09 People in this regard vary between those who do little and those who do much,

4:12 and favor is in the hand of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills.

4:16 We ask Allah, by His grace, generosity, and immense favor,

4:20 to make us among the followers of this noble Prophet,

4:23 outwardly and inwardly.

4:25 Amen, Amen, Amen.

4:29 Qadi 'Iyad said

4:31 regarding the status of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with his Lord:

4:36 "It is not hidden from anyone who has engaged in any branch of knowledge,

4:40 or has been blessed with even the slightest glimmer of understanding,

4:42 how Allah the Exalted has magnified the status of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),

4:45 peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

4:48 singling him out for virtues, excellences, and merits

4:52 that cannot be bounded by any constraint,

4:54 and highlighting his immense standing

4:57 in ways that leave tongues and pens exhausted.

5:01 Among these are what Allah the Exalted explicitly stated in His Book,

5:04 pointing out his exalted lineage,

5:07 praising his character and noble manners,

5:11 and urging His servants to adhere to him and fulfill his obligations.

5:15 For Almighty Allah was the One who bestowed grace and conferred favor first,

5:19 then cleansed and purified him,

5:22 then praised and commended him for it,

5:25 then rewarded him with the fullest reward.

5:28 Thus to Him belongs all favor, first and last,

5:31 and all praise is due to Him in the beginning and the end.

5:33 And among these are what He made openly visible to all

5:36 regarding his creation upon the most complete forms of perfection and majesty,

5:40 singling him out with beautiful virtues, commendable manners,

5:45 noble dispositions, and numerous excellences,

5:49 and supporting him with dazzling miracles,

5:52 clear proofs,

5:54 and evident noble honors

5:56 witnessed by those who lived in his time,

5:59 seen by those who reached his era,

6:01 and known with certain knowledge by those who came after him (peace be upon him)."

6:07 On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said:

6:10 "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

6:12 was brought the Buraq on the night of the Night Journey,

6:15 saddled and bridled,

6:17 but it proved difficult to ride.

6:19 So Gabriel said to it:

6:21 'Is it with Muhammad that you do this?

6:24 No one more noble to Allah than him has ever ridden you!'

6:27 Thereupon, the Buraq broke into a sweat."

6:30 Allah the Exalted said regarding His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),

6:33 highlighting his virtue:

6:35 “There hath come unto you a messenger, (one) of yourselves, unto whom aught that ye are overburdened is grievous, full of concern for you, for the believers full of pity, merciful.” (9:128)

6:39 "Grievous to him is what you suffer;

6:42 [he is] concerned over you,

6:44 and to the believers is kind and merciful."

6:47 Thus, there came one recitation: "from among your own selves" (*min anfusikum*),

6:51 and another recitation:

6:53 "from the most precious among you" (*min anfasikum*).

6:55 And Almighty Allah said:

6:57 “We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples.” (21:107)

7:01 And He said:

7:02 "Indeed, We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner."

7:08 “And as a summoner unto Allah by His permission, and as a lamp that giveth light.” (33:46)

7:12 And He said:

7:14 “Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate,” (94:1)

7:16 "And We removed from you your burden

7:19 which weighed down your back,

7:21 and raised high for you your repute."

7:24 Exalting his repute was achieved through prophethood,

7:29 and it is said through the testimony of monotheism,

7:31 and it is said through the call to prayer (adhan);

7:34 all of these undoubtedly constitute the exalting of his repute.

7:37 And Almighty Allah said:

7:39 “Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” (33:56)

7:44 And the invocation of blessings (*salah*) from Allah means His praise upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

7:49 And Almighty Allah said:

7:51 “Whoso obeyeth the messenger hath obeyed Allah, and whoso turneth away: We have not sent thee as a warder over them.” (4:80)

7:55 And He said:

7:56 “Lo! We have given thee (O Muhammad) a signal victory,” (48:1)

8:00 “That Allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect His favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path,” (48:2)

8:05 “That Allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect His favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path,” (48:2)

8:11 “And that Allah may help thee with strong help -” (48:3)

8:14 and many other examples.

8:16 Indeed, speaking about the biography of the noble Prophet (peace be upon him)

8:21 breathes life into the soul

8:24 and restores hope to it.

8:26 This is because whoever reads the biography of the Master of the Messengers

8:29 reads the call to the truth,

8:32 as well as patience in it and for its sake;

8:34 they read of sublime forbearance, outstanding manners,

8:37 perfect worship,

8:39 selflessness, and striving.

8:41 Truly, one reads life in its entirety—

8:44 the life that a Muslim ought to live.

8:49 Through these pages, we shall endeavor

8:52 to learn about the life of our master, leader, and role model, our Messenger Muhammad

8:58 (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
