3:30 Until he grew up, converted to Islam, and dispensed with it

4:46 Leaving their homes and leaving the pastures of their childhood and the songs of their youth

5:18 They tasted security for the first time since they converted to Islam

5:21 They enjoyed the sweetness of worship without anything disturbing the pleasure of their worship

5:28 Or a class is disturbed and their happiness is disturbed

5:31 But the Quraysh hardly knew about the departure of this group of Muslims to the land of Abyssinia

5:38 It depends on the reassurance they received from the protection of their king regarding their religion

5:43 And security is their belief

5:44 Until she conspired with them to kill them or take them back to the big prison

5:51 Let us leave the conversation to Umm Salamah to tell us the news as her eyes saw it and her ears heard it

5:59 Umm Salamah said: When we settled in the land of Abyssinia, we found the best neighbors there

6:06 So we believed in our religion and worshiped God Almighty, our Lord, without being harmed or hearing anything we disliked.

6:13 When this was reported to the Quraysh, they made Umrah with us and sent two of their men, flogged, to the Negus

6:22 They are Omar bin Al-Aas and Abdullah bin Abi Rabia

6:26 I sent with them many gifts to the Negus and his patriarchs, which they had taken from the land of Hijaz

6:34 Then I instructed them to give each penguin his gift before speaking to the King of Abyssinia about our matter

6:43 When the Abyssinians came to Qayyab Tariqa al-Najashi, he gave each of them his gift

6:50 None of them left anything but gifts to him and told him

6:54 Indeed, young men from among our fools have settled in the king’s land, who have turned away from the religion of their fathers and grandfathers and divided the word of their people.

7:05 If we speak to the king about their matter, advise him to hand them over to us without asking them about their religion

7:13 The nobles of their people saw them and knew what they believed

7:18 The penguins said yes

7:20 Umm Salamah said

7:24 There was nothing more hateful to Omar and his companion than for the Negus to summon one of us and listen to his words

7:32 Then the Negus came and presented him with gifts

7:36 He looked at her and admired her

7:39 Then they spoke to him and he said

7:41 O king, a group of our evil servants have taken shelter in your kingdom

7:47 They came with a religion that neither we nor you know

7:51 They followed our religion and did not enter into your religion

7:55 We have sent to you the nobles of their people, including their fathers, uncles, and clans

8:01 To return them to them, while they are the most knowledgeable of the people about the strife they have caused

8:06 The Negus looked at his penguin

8:09 The penguins said

8:11 Honesty, O king

8:13 Their people saw them and knew what they did

8:17 Return them to them to see what they think about them

8:19 The king became very angry at the words of his penguin and said:

8:24 No, by God, I will not hand them over to anyone until I call them and ask them about what has been attributed to them

8:31 If they are as these two men say, I will hand them over to them

8:36 If they were otherwise, I would protect them and be kind to them as long as they were friendly to me

8:43 Umm Salamah said

8:45 Then the Negus sent an invitation for us to meet him

8:48 So we met before going to him

8:51 We said to each other

8:53 The king will ask you about your religion

8:56 So declare what you believe in

8:58 Let Jaafar bin Abi Talib speak about you

9:01 No one else speaks

9:04 Umm Salamah said

9:06 Then we went to Al-Najashi

9:08 We found that he had lost his temper

9:10 They sat on his right and left

9:13 They wore their robes

9:15 They wore their hoods

9:17 And they published their books in their hands

9:20 We found Omar bin Al-Aas with him

9:22 And Abdullah bin Abi Rabia

9:24 When Ben Majlis settled

9:26 Al-Najashi turned to us and said

9:29 What is this religion that you have created for yourselves?

9:33 Because of him, you departed from the religion of your people

9:36 You did not enter into my religion

9:38 There is no religion in any of these sects

9:40 Then Jaafar bin Abi Talib approached him and said

9:44 O king

9:45 We were a people of ignorance

9:48 We worship idols and eat dead meat

9:51 We banish immoral acts and sever family ties

9:54 We are bad neighbors

9:56 The strong eat the weak

9:58 And we stayed at that

10:00 Until God sent to us a messenger from among us

10:03 We know his lineage, honesty, honesty, and chastity

10:07 So he called us to God

10:09 He alone and we worship Him

10:11 And we give up what we and our fathers used to worship

10:13 Other than it are stones and idols

10:16 He commanded us to speak truthfully and fulfill our trusts

10:20 Family ties and good neighbourliness

10:23 And abstaining from incest and bloodletting

10:26 He forbade us from indecency and false speech

10:29 And consuming an orphan’s money and slandering chaste women

10:32 We are commanded to worship God alone

10:35 We do not associate anything with Him

10:37 And to perform prayer and pay zakat

10:40 We fast during Ramadan

10:41 So we believed him and believed in him

10:44 We followed him according to what he brought from God

10:47 So we made lawful what we made lawful

10:49 We forbade what was forbidden to us

10:52 He was not among our people, O king

10:55 Except they attacked us

10:57 They tortured us severely to tempt us from our religion

11:01 They bring us back to idol worship

11:04 When they wronged us, oppressed us, and made us difficult

11:08 They came between us and our religion

11:11 To your country

11:13 We chose you over anyone else

11:15 We wanted to be with you

11:17 We hope that we will not become children with you

11:20 Umm Salamah said

11:22 Al-Najashi turned to Jaafar bin Abi Talib

11:25 He said, “Do you have anything of what your Prophet brought from God?”

11:30 He said yes

11:32 He said, so he read it to me

11:34 Until he completed part of the surah

11:37 Umm Salamah said

11:38 The Negus cried until his beard was soaked with tears

11:42 His shepherds wept until they wet their books

11:46 When they heard the word of God

11:49 Here Al-Najashi told us

11:52 This is what your Prophet brought

11:55 Which Jesus brought

11:57 To come out of one niche

12:00 Then he turned to Omar and his friend

12:03 He told them that they were divorced

12:05 No, by God, I will never hand them over to you

12:08 Umm Salamah said

12:10 When we left the Negus

12:13 Omar bin Al-Aas threatened us

12:17 By God, we will come to the kingdom tomorrow

12:19 And We will remind him of their matter, which will fill his heart with anger at them

12:24 His heart filled with hatred for them

12:27 I urge him to uproot them from their roots

12:31 Abdullah bin Abi Rabia said to him

12:34 Don't do it, Omar

12:35 For they are among the people of sacrifice

12:38 Even if they disagreed with us

12:40 Omar said to him

12:42 Leave this alone

12:44 By God, I will tell him what will shake their feet

13:53 We found Omar bin Al-Aas and his companion with him

13:56 When we were in front of him

13:58 We started by saying it

14:00 What do you say about Isa bin Maryam?

14:03 Jaafar bin Abi Talib said to him

14:06 We only say about it what our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought

14:11 Al-Najashi said

14:33 By God, Jesus, son of Mary, did not deviate from what your Prophet brought by the length of a hair

14:39 The penguins snorted around the Negus

14:42 Denounced what they heard from him

14:44 He said, “Even if you gnaw.”

14:47 Then he turned and said

14:49 Go, you are safe

14:51 Whoever insults you will be fined

14:53 Whoever opposes you will be punished

14:55 By God, I would not like to have a mountain of gold

14:58 And if any of you gets hurt

15:02 Then he looked at Omar and his friend and said

15:05 They returned their gifts to these two men

15:08 There is no need for me

15:10 Umm Salamah said

15:12 Omar and his companion left broken and oppressed

15:15 Dragging the tails of disappointment

15:18 As for us

15:20 We stayed with the Negus in the best house with the most generous neighbour

15:25 Jaafar bin Abi Talib died

15:26 He and his wife lived in Rehab al-Najashi for ten years

15:30 Amen and reassured

15:33 In the seventh year of the Hijra

15:35 He left Abyssinia with a group of Muslims

15:39 Heading to Yathrib

15:41 When they reached it

15:43 He was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

15:46 Returning to Tuhi from Khaybar

16:20 Abu Hurairah told about him and said:

16:22 The best people for us were the poor people

16:26 Jaafar bin Abi Talib

16:30 He feeds us with whatever he has
