0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:15 Mawaddah Association is pleased
0:17 To present to you pictures from the lives of the Companions
0:22 Id al-Rahman Rafah al-Pasha
0:25 May God have mercy on him
0:30 Salib, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfah, may God be pleased with him
0:51 I think Thabitah is a girl whose servant will be rewarded unharmed
0:55 On that day, he was approaching the dream
0:59 She was encouraged to free him because of the gentleness of virtue she saw in him
1:04 And the nobility of qualities and verses of purity
1:08 And the signs of goodness and righteousness that you glimpse in his behavior
1:12 So he felt sorry for her young husband, Abu Hudhayfah bin Utbah
1:16 One of the secrets of Bani Abd Shams
1:18 Salem was discharged at such a young age
1:22 And to entrust his affairs to himself
1:25 So he took him by the hand and led him to the sanctuary
1:28 He stood up in the crowd of Quraysh scattered around the Kaaba and said:
1:33 Bear witness, O people of Quraysh
1:36 I have adopted this safely
1:39 After I thought it was my wife fixed it
1:42 And he became to me what he was to my son from his father
1:46 Quraysh said
1:48 Yes, I did not do anything to Ibn Utbah
1:51 Since that day
1:53 The fatta became called Salem Ibn Abi Hudhayfah
1:59 Until a ray of divine light emanated from the Batha of Mecca
2:03 God sent His Prophet with the religion of guidance and truth
2:07 It was Abu Hudhayfah and his son Salem
2:10 One of the first whose souls were illuminated by this divine light
2:14 Their hearts were enlightened by his light
2:17 So the father and his son went to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
2:22 He declared their conversion to Islam in front of him
2:25 They bore witness together that there is no god but God alone, with no partner
2:30 And Muhammad is his servant and the seal of his messengers
2:34 Only a short time had passed since Abu Hudhayfah and his son Salem entered the religion of God
2:40 Until Islam abolished the method of adoption
2:43 He ordered the people to return the children to their fathers
2:47 To preserve lineages
2:49 And abandoning one of the paths of ignorance
2:53 The words of God Almighty were revealed regarding adoptees
2:57 I call them to their parents
3:00 So the Muslims responded to the command of their Lord
3:03 They went looking for the genealogies of those they adopted
3:06 They recognize their fathers and return them to them
3:11 But Abu Hudhayfah did not find Salim's father
3:16 Despite much research and exploration
3:19 This is because Salem is a small captive
3:22 And brought to Mecca
3:24 And sold in the slave market
3:26 He is at an age where he is unable to know a father or mother for himself
3:31 People called him Salem Mawla Abu Hudhayfah
3:36 He remained aware of this as long as life extended
3:40 However, the relationship between Abu Hudhayfah and Salem
3:43 It was not a mula-mala relationship
3:46 Rather, it is a brother-to-brother relationship
3:49 After Islam united their hearts
3:52 And faith broke between them
3:55 Their hearts were filled with love for God and His Messenger
3:59 Abu Hudhayfah wanted to make his connection with Salem more solid and deep
4:05 And to eliminate every trace of pre-Islamic fanaticism that Islam exterminated
4:12 So he married Salim to his brother’s daughter, Al-Quraysh Al-Abashmiya
4:16 The same lineage and lineage
4:19 He became his brother in God and one of his relatives
4:24 It wasn't that long ago
4:27 Until serious events separated the two brothers
4:31 From which the early Muslims suffered what they suffered
4:35 And they suffered from its cruelty as much as they did
4:38 Abu Hudhayfah went to Abyssinia, migrating to God with his religion and faith
4:43 He fled from his faith whoever tasted feathers
4:46 As for Salem
4:48 He preferred to remain in Mecca with the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
4:54 And to lean on the Book of God Almighty
4:57 So that it becomes fresh and tender whenever it is revealed to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
5:04 So he began reciting His clear verses with humility
5:08 He memorizes the revealed Surah in understanding and contemplating
5:12 Until he became one of the major carriers of the Qur’an during the era of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
5:19 He became the fourth of four recommended by the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
5:25 By taking the Qur’an from them
5:27 He said, “The Qur’an was recited from four people: Abdullah bin Masoud, Salem, the client of Abu Hudhayfah, Ubayy bin Ka’b, and Muadh bin Jabal.”
5:40 The honorable companions of Salem recognized his virtue over them in his memorization of the Book of God
5:46 His mastery of it, his contemplation of its meanings, and his awareness of his goals
5:52 When Muslims migrated from Mecca to Medina
5:55 They called on Salim to lead them in prayer
5:58 He continued praying with them until the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, came
6:03 Although they included Omar ibn al-Khattab and a large group of the venerable companions
6:10 Then God wanted to bring Salem together with his brother in God, Abu Hudhayfah, after the migration
6:16 And to go to Badr, side by side, with the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
6:24 While the Muslims were preparing to defeat the polytheists
6:28 Salem said to his brother Abu Hudhayfah
6:31 Look, Abu Hudhayfah
6:33 This is your father Utbah bin Rabia
6:36 He advances the ranks and prepares to eliminate Islam and Muslims
6:42 Abu Hudhayfah said
6:44 Yes, I saw him
6:46 These two are enemies of God
6:48 My uncle, Shaybah bin Rabia
6:50 And my brother Al-Walid bin Utbah
6:53 They surround him
6:55 If only the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had given me permission
6:58 To highlight them one by one
7:01 I provided them with resources in response
7:04 Or I go next to my Lord, satisfied and accepted
7:08 And when the battle ended
7:10 Salem and Abu Hudhayfah stood looking at the dead
7:14 Then I saw the threshold of Abu Hudhayfah’s father
7:17 And his uncle's gray hair
7:19 Al-Walid is his brother
7:21 They have met their wrestler
7:23 Abu Hudhayfah said
7:25 Praise be to God who approved the eye of His Prophet
7:28 By killing them all
7:30 Then the brothers in God continued
7:33 They struggle under the banner of the greatest Messenger
7:36 May God bless him and grant him peace together
7:38 In every battle he conquered in his life
7:41 They fulfill the rights of God and His Messenger upon them
7:45 Until the day of Al-Yamamah during the reign of Al-Siddiq
7:49 On that great day of God's days
7:52 Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him
7:55 To fight Musaylimah the liar
7:57 Muslims everywhere were mobilized
8:00 To eliminate his blind temptation
8:03 Which was about to destroy Islam
8:05 And his family is destroyed
8:07 So Salem and Abu Hudhayfah hastened to go to Al-Dhud
8:10 About the religion of God
8:11 He fled to fight Musaylimah, the enemy of God
8:15 The two groups met on the land of Al-Yamamah
8:18 Two fierce battles took place between them
8:21 The history of wars has rarely witnessed a parallel to them
8:25 Muslims expressed it
8:27 Led by Ikrimah bin Abi Jahl
8:30 And Khaled bin Al-Walid, may God be pleased with them both
8:33 An insurmountable kind of courage
8:36 From the description of the describers
8:38 As expressed by the apostates
8:40 Led by Musaylima
8:42 No less
8:43 Courage, bravery and dedication
8:46 But victory in these two battles
8:49 Harif Musaylimah was a liar
8:52 His men even stormed Khalid bin Al-Walid's farm
8:56 They almost cursed his wife
8:58 Had it not been that a man among them had rented it
9:01 At that
9:04 Diet has spread to the hearts of Muslims
9:07 Among them stood out great heroes
9:11 They sold souls to God
9:13 You die today or tomorrow
9:15 With souls that never die
9:18 Khalid bin Al-Walid remobilized his army
9:21 So he embraced the banner of immigrants
9:24 By Salem Mawla Abi Hudhayfah
9:26 He surrendered to the Ansar brigade
9:28 By Thabit bin Qais
9:30 Zaid bin Al-Khattab stood
9:32 He incites Muslims to fight
9:34 He said: O people!
9:37 A bite on your molars
9:39 And strike at your enemy
9:41 And move on
9:43 People
9:45 By God, I will never speak again after this word
9:49 Until God defeats Musaylimah the liar and those with him
9:53 Or kill
9:55 So give God my proof
9:57 Then he set out to break through the ranks
9:59 He kept fighting until he was killed
10:02 Then Abu Hudhayfah followed him while calling
10:05 O people of the Qur’an
10:07 Beautify the Qur’an with your actions
10:10 Then he began his struggle until he was martyred, advancing without retreating
10:15 As for Salem, the client of Abu Hudhayfah
10:18 So he turned to the immigrants and said
10:21 Miserable is the one who bears the Qur’an
10:23 The Muslims before me are at fault
10:26 Then he rushed to defend the banner of his people
10:29 Until his right was cut off
10:31 So he took the flag with his left hand
10:33 He fought for it until it cut off his left hand
10:36 So he took the flag by his arms
10:39 He remained steadfast in it until his wounds became severe
10:42 He fell to the ground covered in his blood
10:46 And when the battle ended
10:49 Khalid bin Al-Walid stood against Salem, the client of Abu Hudhayfah
10:54 He was still sleepy
10:57 Salem said to him, “What have the Muslims done, Khaled?”
11:01 And he said
11:03 God granted them victory
11:05 Musaylimah the liar killed them
11:08 He defeated his soldiers and followers
11:11 And he said
11:13 What did my brother Abu Hudhayfah do?
11:15 And he said
11:17 He went to his Lord, coming without turning back
11:20 He was killed as a martyr
11:22 And he said
11:24 They made me sad beside him
11:26 And he said
11:28 There it is, cushioned at your feet
11:31 He closed his eyes as he said
11:34 Together here, Abu Hudhayfah
11:37 And together there, God willing
11:40 He took his last breath
11:48 If Salem were alive
11:50 I appointed him to take charge after me
11:53 Omar bin Al-Khattab
