2:16 And the travel was far

2:19 And the fruits have ripened

3:58 Then I was informed that the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him

4:02 Head to the city in a caravan

4:04 So my worry drove me

4:06 I started remembering the lies and telling them

4:09 How can I apologize to him and get rid of his anger tomorrow?

4:13 I sought help from all my family members in this regard

4:17 I did not find anything with them

4:19 And when I was told

4:21 The Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him

4:24 He might be coming

4:26 If falsehood is removed from me

4:28 And I knew that I would never get out of his anger

4:31 Something that is a lie

4:33 So I decided to be honest

4:35 Then he became the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

4:38 In the city

4:40 When he came back from a trip

4:42 He started with the mosque

4:44 He performs two rak'ahs therein

4:46 When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, finished

4:49 After two rak'ahs, he sat for the people

4:52 Then those left behind came like me

4:55 So they began to apologize to him and swear to him

4:58 They were eighty-few men

5:01 The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, accepted from them

5:05 On their intention

5:07 And ask forgiveness for them

5:09 And entrust their secrets to God

5:11 So I came to him

5:13 When I greeted him

5:15 He smiled angrily, then said

5:18 Come on

5:20 So I walked until I sat in front of him

5:23 He said to me

5:25 What's behind you, Kaab?

5:27 Didn't you buy your camel?

5:30 So I said

5:31 I swear to God, O Messenger of God

5:34 If you sat with other people of the world

5:37 I would have gotten out of his anger with an excuse to make for him

5:40 By God, I have been given an argument and an explanation

5:44 But I swear

5:46 You knew that I told you a lie today

5:50 To be satisfied with me

5:52 God is about to make you angry with me

5:55 And if I told you something truthful, it would make you angry with me

5:59 I hope for God's forgiveness

6:02 By God, O Messenger of God

6:04 I had no excuse for what I did

6:08 I was never stronger and easier than when I left you

6:13 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said

6:16 But this is true

6:19 Then he turned to me and said

6:21 Stand up until God decides for you

6:24 So I got up and left the mosque

6:27 Kaab said

6:29 Soon, men from my people followed me

6:32 They told me

6:33 By God, we did not know that you had committed a sin before this

6:37 Who made you unable to apologize to the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him?

6:42 He also apologized to others who left behind

6:45 By God, they still scold me

6:48 Until I decided to return to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace

6:52 So I lie to myself

6:54 But I soon told them

6:57 Would anyone share with me what I made?

7:00 And they said yes

7:02 Two men said the same as I said

7:04 So they were told as you were told

7:07 So I said who are they?

7:09 They said

7:10 Marara bin Al-Rabi’ and Hilal bin Umayyah

7:14 They were two good men

7:16 I witnessed my early days

7:18 So I said that I have something worse in it

7:21 Then I moved on

7:23 Ka'b bin Malik said

7:25 Then the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, soon stopped talking about the three of us

7:30 Among those left behind

7:32 So the people shunned us and they changed for us

7:35 Until she disguised herself in the same land

7:38 What remains is the land that I know

7:41 We stayed like that for fifty nights

7:45 As for my two friends

7:47 So they settled down and sat in their homes, crying

7:51 As for me

7:52 I was the youngest of the three and the most flogging of them

7:55 So I used to go out and witness the prayer with the Muslims

7:59 I wander around the markets

8:01 But no one talks to me

8:03 I used to come to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

8:07 So I greeted him while he was sitting after the prayer

8:11 Then I say to myself

8:13 Did he move his lips to return the greeting or not?

8:17 I was keen to pray close to him

8:21 To steal his glance

8:23 So, if you came to me for prayer, he would come to me

8:27 If I turn towards him, he will turn away from me

8:30 When people became angry with me for a long time

8:33 I became distressed

8:35 The wall of Abu Qatada's garden was covered with sand

8:38 He is my cousin and the most beloved person to me

8:41 So I greeted him

8:43 By God, he did not respond to my greeting

8:46 So I said, Abu Qatada

8:49 I ask you, God

8:51 Did you know that I love God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace?

8:56 So he remained silent

8:58 So I promised her to him and he remained silent

9:00 So I dated her

9:02 And he said

9:03 God and His Messenger know best

9:05 At that

9:07 I headed back the way I came

9:10 Then the unthinkable happened

9:13 While I was walking in the city market, no one spoke to me

9:18 If Nabataean is one of the Nabataeans of the Levant, he says

9:22 Who can direct me to Ka'b Ibn Malik?

9:25 So people pointed to me

9:27 He came to me and gave me a letter from the king of Gassam

9:34 I have heard that your friend has deceived you

9:45 So I headed the message towards the light burning

9:49 So I threw the message into it

9:51 Kaab said

9:53 And when forty nights of the fifty had passed

9:56 A man came to me from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him

10:00 He said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

10:04 He orders you to isolate yourself from your wife

10:07 So I said: Let her go. What should I do?

10:10 He said: No, but keep away from her and do not approach her

10:14 I sent a similar message to my friend

10:17 So I said to my wife

10:19 Follow your family and stay with them

10:22 Until God decides this matter

10:25 So she went to her family

10:27 The mother of the wife of Hilal bin Umayyah

10:30 So she came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

10:33 She said, O Messenger of God

10:36 Hilal is a mortal sheikh and has no servant

10:40 Do you hate me serving him?

10:42 He said, “No, but he will not come close to you.”

10:45 She said, “By God, O Messenger of God.”

10:49 He is still crying since he stayed home

10:52 To this day

10:54 Kaab said

10:56 Then some of my family told me

10:58 If I had asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, permission

11:02 In your wife

11:03 He may grant you permission just as he granted Hilal bin Umayyah permission

11:07 I said, “By God, I will not do it.”

11:10 I do not know what the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, tells me

11:14 I am a young visionary

11:16 Kaab said

11:17 After that, she stayed for ten nights

11:20 Until fifty nights were completed for us

11:23 When I prayed the dawn prayer on the morning of fifty nights

11:27 I am on the back of one of our houses

11:30 The earth has narrowed down to what it welcomed

11:33 I was very upset with myself

11:36 I heard a screaming voice from the top of Mount Sila

11:40 He calls at the top of his voice

11:42 O Ka'b bin Malik, give good news

11:44 O Ka'b bin Malik, give good news

11:47 The sound just touched my hearing

11:49 Until I fell down prostrating to God

11:52 And I knew that relief had come to me

11:55 And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

11:58 He announced this to his friends

12:01 People started giving me good tidings

12:03 The first of them to come was a knight who came on his horse

12:07 Missionaries also went to my companions

12:11 When the one whose voice I heard came to me

12:14 I took off my dress for him

12:16 So I covered them with his good tidings

12:19 By God, I do not have anything other than them

12:22 Then I borrowed two dresses and put them on

12:25 And she went to the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him

12:29 So the Muslims met me, group after group

12:32 They congratulate me on my repentance and say:

12:35 May God’s repentance be upon you, O Ibn Malik

12:39 Until I entered the mosque

12:41 So, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

12:45 Sitting surrounded by people

12:47 His face was illuminated as if it were a piece of the moon

12:51 When I greeted him

12:53 He said, his face shining with pleasure

12:56 Good news, Kaab

12:58 Good tidings, Kaab, for a good day ahead of you

13:01 Since your mother gave birth to you

13:03 I said: I am safe with you, O Messenger of God

13:05 Security in the sight of God Almighty

13:08 He said: No, but from God

13:11 I said, O Messenger of God

13:13 It is part of my repentance that I give up all of my wealth

13:17 And to make it a charity for God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace

13:23 The Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, said

13:26 Hold on to some of your money, heel

13:29 It is better for you

13:31 I said: I hold the arrow of the one in Khaybar

13:34 And I give in charity everything else

13:36 Then I said, O Messenger of God

13:39 God saved us with honesty

13:42 And from my repentance

13:44 I will only speak the truth as long as I remain

13:47 May God be pleased with Kaab Ibn Malik Al-Ansari

13:51 Poet of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

13:55 He defended Islam with his words and his statement

13:59 And God sent down a Qur’an about him and his companions

14:03 He still recites the deep end of the night and the end of the day

14:07 It will continue to be recited until God inherits the earth and those on it

14:13 Ka'b Ibn Malik, the poet of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace

14:20 And one of the honest supporters

14:24 Those whom God has accepted

14:26 And He revealed to them the Qur’an
