0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:15 Mawaddah Association is pleased
0:17 To present to you pictures from the lives of the Companions
0:21 By Abd al-Rahman Rafat al-Basha
0:25 May God have mercy on him
0:30 Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib, may God be pleased with him
0:48 He sent it to the leader of the Quraish, Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim
0:54 That there is a woman with brains and beauty
0:57 One of the daughters of the Rabia kings is called Natilah
1:01 So he sought it out, proposed it to himself, and built it
1:05 She gave birth to him a handsome, handsome child
1:09 This is what I look like
1:11 He was very happy with him, then Al-Abbas called him
1:15 Only two years had passed since the sheikh of Mecca was happy
1:21 So that his home could be filled with joy again
1:25 It was given to his son Abdullah
1:28 A child who rivals Abbas in the radiance of his face and the splendor of his appearance
1:33 When he saw him, his eyes filled with tears
1:36 He wished his father was alive
1:39 To share his joy in him, then he called him Muhammad
1:44 Muhammad and Abbas grew up under the care of Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim
1:49 They only know that they are brothers
1:52 They have lunch together and go together
1:55 And they eat from one bowl
1:58 They play on the same field
2:01 When Abbas was ten years old
2:04 His father, Abdul Muttalib, died
2:07 The whole of Mecca was saddened by him
2:09 Its people were alarmed at him
2:12 But the two boys, Al-Abbas and Muhammad
2:15 People were most worried about him
2:18 Because they tasted orphanhood by losing him
2:22 When the assigned positions were divided
2:25 Abdul Muttalib on his sons
2:27 Quraysh gave it to his son Abbas
2:30 Watering Hajj despite his young age
2:33 That's what they called him
2:36 There is salvation in it
2:38 What they expect is sovereign
2:41 And the boys of Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib grew up
2:45 And Muhammad bin Abdullah grows
2:48 So, they are two young men, full of youth
2:51 If the age difference between them disappears
2:54 Even those who looked at them thought they were twins
2:59 Someone once asked Al-Abbas after he converted to Islam
3:04 Are you the greatest mother of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?
3:08 He said he is older than me
3:11 But I am more than two years old
3:15 And over forty years old
3:18 God Almighty honored Muhammad bin Abdullah with the message
3:22 And sent him with the religion of guidance and truth
3:25 He ordered him to warn his closest relatives
3:29 And who is closer to him than Abbas?
3:32 He is his favorite soil and intimate friend
3:35 And his uncle is his father's brother
3:38 But Al-Abbas inherited sovereignty over his people from his father
3:42 He was entrusted with providing water to the pilgrim
3:45 It is a position for which competitors compete
3:49 He hated to disguise himself as his people
3:52 He is keen to maintain his leadership over them
3:55 He did not respond to the call of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
4:00 However, he continued to bring Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, down on his own
4:07 The status of a brother compared to his brother
4:09 And intimate from intimate
4:11 He protects him from harm
4:13 He must be very careful
4:16 From this, when he met the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him
4:21 With the influence of the Ansar on the night of Aqaba
4:24 His uncle Abbas was with him
4:26 He is still in polytheism
4:28 Al-Abbas was the first to speak and said:
4:32 O people of Khazraj!
4:34 Muhammad is one of us, as you have learned
4:37 We banned it from our people
4:39 Who is like our opinion of him
4:42 He is in honor of his people and invincible in his country
4:46 He has refused to side with you and join you
4:51 If you think that you are fulfilling what you called him to do
4:56 You and what you endured
4:58 Even if you see that you surrendered him and abandoned him after he came out to you
5:04 From now on, call him
5:06 For he is in glory and protection from his people and his country
5:10 The Ansar said
5:12 We heard what you said, Abul-Fadl
5:15 Then they turned to the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and said
5:19 O Messenger of God
5:21 Take for yourself and your Lord whatever pledge of allegiance you like
5:25 And when the pledge of allegiance was completed
5:27 The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned with his uncle Abbas to Mecca under the cover of darkness
5:34 When the Quraish decided to launch the Battle of Badr
5:37 Al-Abbas hated to join her in fighting his nephew
5:41 But his leadership among his people forced him to participate in this as a burden
5:47 And she made him one of the twelve men
5:50 Who took care of feeding the army of polytheists during the invasion
5:55 But the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him
5:58 He did not forget his uncle Abbas for his support and support
6:03 He said to his friends
6:05 Whoever meets Abel Bakhtari bin Hisham should not kill him
6:08 Whoever meets Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib should not kill him
6:12 They left under duress
6:15 And when God decreed for His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, victory at Badr
6:20 And some of the polytheists were killed
6:23 Some of them were captured
6:25 Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib was among the captives who fell into the hands of Muslims
6:32 The one who captured him was a small man with a weak build
6:37 He is called Abu Al-Yusr
6:39 As for Al-Abbas, he was huge and tall, like a leafy camel
6:44 When Abbas returned to Mecca, his children were amazed at his captivity
6:49 So ask him, saying:
6:51 Oh our father, how did Abu Al-Yusr capture you?
6:54 And if you wanted, you could put it in the sleeve of your shirt
6:58 He said, “By God, my son, when he jumped on me, he was greater than an elephant in my eyes.”
7:06 And when he grabbed my arm with his small, veiny palm
7:10 I thought blood was about to drip from my fingernails
7:14 Then he twisted my hand and put it behind my back
7:18 Then he took the other one and joined her to her sister
7:21 He tied them with a rope
7:23 I am protected and do not prevent myself from it or resist it
7:28 Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib spent his first night in the prisoner camp
7:34 Close to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
7:38 He made a deep, continuous moan
7:42 When his groaning reached the ears of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he became restless
7:48 A look of sadness appeared on his face
7:51 His companions told him
7:53 And whatever saddens you, O Messenger of God, we have made that happen
7:57 Then Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib groaned
8:01 When a Muslim man stood up to him
8:05 He found that his chains had severely tightened on him
8:10 So he gave him a break and he remained silent
8:13 His silence raised the fears of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him
8:17 He said: What is the matter with me that I do not hear Al-Abbas moaning?
8:21 The man said: I loosened his chain
8:25 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said
8:28 He did the same to all the captives
8:31 Then the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him
8:34 Make a ransom from captivity
8:37 When his uncle was brought to him
8:39 He made Abbas apologize to him that he had no money
8:44 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said
8:47 Where is the money you put with your wife, Umm al-Fadl?
8:51 I told her that if I got it right, then I get the credit
8:55 And Abdullah is such and such
8:57 Ubaidullah is like this
8:59 Al-Abbas was astonished because this was something that no one had ever seen except God
9:06 And on a Sunday
9:08 Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib refused to go out with the polytheists
9:11 To fight the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him
9:15 He sent a message informing him of the intention of the Quraysh to go out to him
9:19 This had a great impact on the preparedness of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions
9:25 And prepare to meet the enemy
9:28 Twenty years have passed since the call of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
9:34 And his uncle Abbas is still polytheist
9:37 One day, Al-Abbas sat with his wife, Umm Al-Fadl
9:42 They enumerate the honorable virtues of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
9:47 They mention his noble qualities
9:49 They recall the story of his knowledge of the money he deposited with her
9:54 In salvation from all people
9:57 He soon found himself saying to his husband:
10:00 What's wrong with us, Umm al-Fadl?
10:03 What is ours that we do not recognize?
10:05 Umm al-Fadl was amazed at his words and became excited
10:09 As if she was waiting for him to say that
10:13 And in a few hours
10:15 Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib had prepared two camels for him and his wife
10:20 He went on towards the city
10:23 Immigrants to God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
10:28 When Al-Abbas and his wife reached Al-Juhfa
10:31 They were surprised by the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him
10:35 He leads a large army to conquer Mecca
10:38 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was also surprised by them
10:42 It was an unexpected meeting
10:45 The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, hastened to say to his uncle
10:50 What can I bring you, uncle?
10:53 He said: Desire for God and His Messenger
10:56 He and his wife declared the word of truth
11:00 He entered the religion of God after a long period of reluctance
11:03 As soon as the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, heard
11:07 His uncle bears witness that there is no god but God
11:10 And that Muhammad is the Messenger of God
11:13 Until tears of joy flooded from his eyes and he said
11:17 I left you, uncle, the last migration
11:20 Also, my prophecy is the last prophecy
11:23 From that moment on, Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib was determined
11:28 To make up for the goodness and reward he missed
11:32 So he humbled himself and what he had in obedience to God
11:35 And the satisfaction of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
11:39 On the day of Hunayn, the Muslims were defeated
11:43 They abandoned the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
11:47 He stood beside him with the stance of a mighty lion
11:50 He drew the sword with his right hand
11:53 He held the reins of the mule of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, with his left hand
11:58 He continued to defend it with a small number of his companions
12:02 Until God wrote victory on their hands
12:06 And the day the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, decided
12:10 To enforce the army of hardship, he called on its companions to give and give
12:15 Al-Abbas came to him and poured money into his hands
12:20 When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, joined the supreme companion
12:25 The matter fell to his successors, Abu Bakr and Omar, may God be pleased with them
12:30 Al-Abbas remained their best counselor and supporter
12:34 They continued to honor and venerate him
12:38 In recognition of his grace and loyalty to the Prophet, may the best blessings and peace be upon him
12:44 From this, when the drought became severe for Muslims in the year of Ramadan
12:49 The udder dried up and the seed withered
12:52 The sky became as if it was built of copper
12:56 Omar bin Al-Khattab went out with the Muslims
12:59 So he asked for water for them, but they did not receive water
13:02 He repeated this several times, but he did not respond to them
13:06 He said to a group of his friends
13:08 We will draw water tomorrow with whomever God wills
13:13 When morning came, Madair Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib
13:18 He had become a great old man and he said to him
13:21 Uncle, come out with us, perhaps God will give us water at your hands
13:27 Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib came out among the Muslim masses
13:31 Humbled, submissive, and disobedient to God
13:34 In front of him was Ali bin Abi Talib
13:37 On his right is Hassan and on his left is Hussein
13:41 Behind him are the masses of Muslims
13:44 They prayed two rak'ahs
13:46 Then Omar took my hand, the uncle of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
13:51 His tears wet his beard and he said
13:54 Pray for us, uncle of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
13:59 Al-Abbas raised his hands to the sky
14:02 His eyes overflowed with fear of God
14:05 He began to cry out to God with righteous supplication and sincere hope
14:10 And the people came running behind him, crying and wailing
14:15 His supplication was hardly completed
14:18 Until the atmosphere was covered with dark clouds
14:22 The sky sent abundant rain on the earth
14:26 May God remove the grief from Muslims
14:29 And their anguish was revealed
14:31 People were given water at the hands of pilgrims
14:34 May God be pleased with him and please him
14:37 This is Abbas bin Abdul Mutalib
14:43 The finest Quraish enough
14:45 And give her mercy
14:48 Muhammad bin Abdullah
14:51 With Muhammad and his companions
14:53 The edifice was built by Goths
14:56 O Sheyar, help me better
14:59 In their praise, did they help me?
