Divine decree and destiny is Allah's secret concerning His creation.

The tree of faith in destiny does not stand firm in the heart of a believing servant

except on the trunk of submission, acknowledging that Allah, the Almighty, is just and does not wrong anyone.

And He possesses perfect wisdom in all that He decrees for His creation.

And regarding what His glory decrees, the wisdom of which is not apparent to us,

﴿He will not be questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.﴾

So whoever questions why He did something has rejected the ruling of the Book.

And whoever rejects the ruling of the Book is among the disbelievers.

And Allah, the Almighty, is not questioned about what He does,

because He does nothing except that which contains His wisdom.
