He said: We slept that night with our people in our camps, and when a third of the night had passed, we slipped out of our camps for the appointment with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

We crept out secretly like sandgrouse, until we gathered in the mountain pass at al-Aqabah, seventy men of us, and with us were two women from their families.
