0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:03 Muhammad is the Messenger of God
0:12 Summary of the Prophet’s biography
0:20 The Quraysh tracked down the Abyssinian immigrant
0:24 When the Quraysh saw that the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, were safe in the land of Abyssinia
0:32 They gained a home, stability, and good neighborliness from the Negus
0:38 I sent two men to the Negus
0:41 They are Omar bin Al-Aas and Abdullah bin Abi Rabia
0:45 May the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, greet them
0:50 Imam Ahmad wrote in his Musnad with a good chain of transmission
0:54 On the authority of the Mother of the Believers, Umm Salamah, may God be pleased with her, she said
0:59 When we settled in the land of Abyssinia, our neighbor was the best neighbor of the Negus
1:06 We believed in our religion and worshiped God. We were not harmed or heard anything we disliked
1:13 When this was reported to the Quraysh, they decided to send two flogged men to the Negus among us
1:21 And to give the Negus gifts from the luxury goods of Mecca
1:27 One of the most amazing things that came to him from her was the human being
1:31 So they gathered a lot of blood for him
1:34 They did not leave any of his penguins behind without giving him a gift
1:41 Then they sent this message with Abdullah bin Abi Rabia bin Al-Mughira Al-Makhzoumi
1:47 And Omar bin Al-Aas bin Wael Al-Sahmi
1:50 And they gave them their orders and told them
1:54 Give each penguin his gift before you speak to the Negus about them
2:00 Then they presented the Negus with his gifts
2:04 Then ask him to deliver them to you before he speaks to them
2:09 She said, may God be pleased with her
2:11 So they went out and came to the Negus
2:15 We have a good home and a good neighbor
2:19 There were no penguins left of him
2:22 Unless his gift was given to him before he spoke to the Negus
2:27 Then he said to each penguin
2:31 He has come to the king's country as a boy from among us foolish boys
2:36 They left the religion of their people and did not enter your religion
2:40 They came with an innovative religion that neither we nor you know
2:46 We have entrusted the king with the nobles of their people to return them to them
2:52 If we speak to the king about them
2:54 Advise him to hand them over to us and not speak to them
2:59 Their people are superior to them
3:02 And I know what they blamed on them
3:05 They said to them yes
3:08 Then they presented their gifts to the Negus
3:12 So he accepted it from them
3:14 Then they spoke to him and said to him
3:17 O king
3:18 Indeed, foolish young men have arrived in your country
3:23 They left the religion of their people and did not enter your religion
3:28 They came with an innovative religion that neither we nor you know
3:33 We have sent to you among them the nobles of their people, including their fathers, uncles, and clans
3:40 To return them to them
3:42 They are superior to their eyes
3:44 And I know what they criticized and blamed them for
3:48 She said, may God be pleased with her
3:51 There was nothing more hateful to Abdullah bin Abi Rabia
3:55 Omar bin Al-Aas prevented the Negus from hearing their words
4:00 She said, "Tarqa around him."
4:03 Believe it, O king
4:05 Their people are superior to them
4:07 And I know what they blamed on them
4:10 So he handed them over to them
4:12 Let him return them to their country and people
4:17 The Negus became angry and then said:
4:20 God does not care
4:22 Then I will not hand them over to them
4:24 I can't stand the people who came next to me and settled in my country
4:29 They chose me over anyone else
4:32 Until I call them and ask them what these two say about their matter
4:37 If they are as they say
4:39 I handed them over to them and returned them to their people
4:43 Even if they are otherwise
4:46 I prevented them from doing so
4:48 I treated them well and they did not treat me well
4:52 She said, may God be pleased with her
4:54 Then he sent to the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and summoned them
5:00 When his messenger came to them
5:02 They gathered
5:04 Then they said to each other
5:06 What do you say to a man when you come to him?
5:10 They said
5:11 We say, “By God, what we know and what our Prophet commanded us to do.”
5:15 May God bless him and grant him peace
5:17 An object in that which is an object
5:21 When they came to him
5:23 Al-Najashi called his bishops
5:26 So they spread their Qur’an around it
5:28 He asked them and said
5:30 What is this religion in which you left your people?
5:34 You have not entered into my religion or the religion of any of these nations
5:39 She said, may God be pleased with her
5:42 The one who spoke to him was Jaafar bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him
5:47 And he said to him
5:48 O king
5:50 We were a people of ignorance
5:53 We worship idols and eat dead meat
5:56 We commit immoral acts, cut family ties, and abuse our neighbors
6:01 The strong eat from the weak
6:04 We were on that
6:05 Until God sent to us a messenger from among us
6:09 We know his lineage, honesty, honesty, and chastity
6:14 So he called us to God to unite him and worship him
6:18 And we remove what we and our fathers used to worship other than Him, such as stones and idols
6:25 He commanded us to speak truthfully and fulfill our trusts
6:28 Family ties and good neighbourliness
6:31 And refrain from incest and blood
6:34 He forbade us from indecency and false speech
6:37 And eating the orphan's money
6:39 He was in the dungeon
6:41 We are commanded to worship God alone, not associating anything with Him
6:46 He commanded us to pray, pay zakat, and fast
6:49 So he enumerated the matters of Islam
6:53 So we believed him and believed in him
6:55 We followed him in what he brought
6:58 So we worshiped God alone
7:00 We did not associate anything with him
7:03 We forbade what was forbidden to us
7:05 We made lawful what we made lawful
7:08 So our people attacked us
7:10 They tortured us and tempted us to abandon our religion
7:14 To return us to worshiping idols instead of worshiping God
7:18 And to make lawful what we used to make of evil things lawful
7:22 When they oppressed us and wronged us
7:25 And they treated us hard
7:27 They came between us and our religion
7:30 We left for your country
7:32 We chose you over anyone else
7:34 We wanted to be with you
7:37 We hope that we will not be unfair to you, O king
7:41 she said
7:42 The Negus said to him
7:44 Do you have anything that he brought from God?
7:48 Jaafar, may God be pleased with him, said to him
7:51 Yes
7:52 The Negus said to him
7:54 So he read it to him
7:56 So he recited to him a number of times
7:59 Enough of it, Ayn Sad
8:03 So, by God, the Negus cried
8:05 Until his beard was soaked
8:08 His bishops cried until they soaked their Qur’an
8:12 When they heard what was read to them
8:15 Then the Negus said:
8:17 This is what Moses brought
8:20 To come out of one niche
8:23 Go
8:25 By God, I will never hand them over to you
8:28 I can hardly
8:30 Umm Salama, may God be pleased with her, said
8:33 When they left him
8:35 Omar bin Al-Aas said
8:37 By God, I repent that they have become a disgrace to them
8:41 Then I remove their greenness with it
8:44 Abdullah bin Abi Rabia said to him
8:47 He was the most pious of the two men among us
8:50 Don't
8:51 They have wombs
8:53 Even if they disagreed with us
8:56 He said
8:57 By God, I would have told him that they claim that Jesus, son of Mary, is a slave
9:03 Umm Salama, may God be pleased with her, said
9:06 Then tomorrow came upon him
9:08 And he said to him
9:10 O king
9:11 They say great things about Jesus, son of Mary
9:16 So send to them and ask them what they say about it
9:20 So he sent to them asking them about him
9:23 Umm Salama, may God be pleased with her, said
9:26 Nothing like it has happened to us
9:28 So the people gathered
9:30 They said to each other
9:32 What would you say about Jesus if he asked you about him?
9:36 They said
9:38 We say, by God, what God said
9:41 And what our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought
9:45 Whatever it is, whatever it is
9:49 When they entered upon him, he said to them
9:52 What do you say about Jesus bin Maryam?
9:55 Jaafar bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said to him
9:59 We say about it what our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought
10:04 He is the servant of God and His Messenger
10:07 And his spirit and word he gave to the virgin Mary
10:13 she said
10:14 The Negus hit his hand on the ground
10:17 So he took a stick from her and then said
10:20 Except for Jesus, son of Mary, I did not say this oud
10:25 His fingers clattered around him when he said what he said
10:30 He said, “Even if you gnaw your nose, by God.”
10:33 Go, you will live in my land
10:37 And the safe ones
10:39 Whoever insults you will be fined
10:42 Then whoever curses you will be fined
10:44 Then whoever curses you will be fined
10:47 I would not like to have a gold anus
10:50 And I hurt a man among you
10:53 And the anus with the mountain tongue of Abyssinia
10:57 They returned their gifts
10:59 We don't need it
11:02 By God, God did not take a bribe from me when He restored my kingdom to me
11:07 So he took the bribe
11:09 Whatever the people obey, I obey them in it
11:13 she said
11:14 They left him looking ugly
11:17 In response to what he said
11:21 We stayed with him in a good home with a good neighbor
11:28 The Companions remained in Abyssinia
11:32 Jaafar bin Abi Tarib, may God be pleased with him, remained
11:36 And some of the Companions with him, may God be pleased with them, in Abyssinia
11:41 Until the seventh year of the Hijra
11:43 That was when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, conquered Khaybar
11:49 As will be mentioned when talking about the Battle of Khaybar
11:54 Summary of the Prophet’s biography
