1:34 So I pledged to him a third time.

1:36 I was once asked about that pledge:

1:39 "Upon what were you pledging that day?"

1:43 I replied, "Upon death."

1:46 And Allah the Exalted revealed concerning us:

1:49 “Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance unto thee beneath the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down peace of reassurance on them, and hath rewarded them with a near victory;” (48:18)

3:00 The Prophet, peace be upon him, said,

3:03 "Pursue him and kill him,

3:05 For he is a spy for the enemy."

3:08 I ran after him on foot,

3:11 Until I grabbed the halter of his camel and made it kneel.

3:15 When it placed its knee on the ground,

3:18 I drew my sword and struck his head.

3:21 I brought his mount and everything upon it, leading it back.

3:25 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, met me,

3:29 And granted me all of his spoils.

3:32 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, would let me ride behind him

3:38 Many times.

3:39 He wiped my face many times,

3:42 And prayed for my forgiveness many times,

3:44 Equal to the number of fingers on my hand.

3:48 So, who am I?
