1:00 They would say to me, "You are the daughter of Abu Lahab."

1:04 "You are the daughter of the firewood of the Fire."

1:06 The one about whom Allah, the Almighty, says:

1:09 “The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish.” (111:1)

1:13 "Your migration will be of no avail to you."

1:16 So I went to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and said to him:

1:21 "O Messenger of Allah, are there no children of disbelievers other than me?"

1:25 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, asked:

1:29 "What is the matter?"

1:31 I said, "Some women from the Banu Zurayq have hurt me regarding my parents."

1:37 "They say that I am the daughter of the firewood of the Fire."

1:41 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:

1:45 "When I pray the Dhuhr prayer, pray where I can see you."

1:49 The Prophet, peace be upon him, prayed the Dhuhr prayer.

1:53 Then he turned to the people and sat on the pulpit for a while.

1:58 Then he said, "O people!"

2:02 "Why do some people hurt me regarding my lineage and my kin?"

2:07 "Whoever hurts my lineage and my kin,"

2:11 "has surely hurt me."

2:13 "And whoever hurts me has surely hurt Allah."

2:18 Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, jumped up and said:

2:22 "May Allah be angry with those who anger you, O Messenger of Allah."

2:26 Then he, peace be upon him, said:

2:29 "The living should not be hurt because of the dead."

2:32 I had two sisters and three brothers.

2:36 They all embraced Islam on the day of the conquest of Mecca.

2:39 Except for my brother Utaybah, who did not embrace Islam.

2:43 He was one of the most bitter enemies of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

2:48 One day, while we were in Mecca,

2:51 My brother Utaybah intended to travel to the Levant (al-Sham).

2:55 He said, "I will go to Muhammad and hurt him."

3:00 He went to him and said, "O Muhammad,"

3:04 "I disbelieve in the star when it descends,"

3:07 "and in the One who approached and descended."

3:10 Then he spat in front of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

3:15 The Prophet, peace be upon him, became angry.

3:18 He prayed against him, saying:

3:21 "O Allah, unleash upon him one of Your dogs."

3:25 My brother left with his companions in a caravan to the Levant.

3:29 When they were on the road,

3:32 They heard the roar of a lion.

3:35 My brother began to tremble with fear.

3:41 They asked him, "What are you trembling from?"

3:45 He replied, "Muhammad has prayed against me,"

3:49 "and his prayers are never rejected."

3:52 When they went to sleep, they surrounded him,

3:55 And placed him in the middle of them.

3:58 The lion came and sniffed their heads one by one.

4:03 Until it reached my brother Utaybah.

4:06 It crushed his head and finished him off.

4:09 Thus, the prayer of the Prophet, peace be upon him, was fulfilled regarding him.
