0:16 I am one of the noble senior Companions.

0:21 And one of the Rightly Guided Caliphs.

0:24 I am among the closest relatives of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

0:29 And his trusted son-in-law.

0:32 I grew up in the household of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

0:35 I was the first among the youth to believe in him.

0:39 I slept in his bed on the day he migrated.

0:43 I then returned the trusts to their owners in Makkah on his behalf.

0:48 Then I migrated to Madinah.

0:51 I was known for my eloquence, intelligence, and courage.

0:55 I fought alongside the Prophet, peace be upon him, in all the battles.

1:01 He gave me the banner on the day of Khaybar.

1:04 He appointed me as his deputy in Madinah on the day of Tabuk.

1:07 And he said to me:

1:09 "Are you not pleased to be to me as Aaron was to Moses?"

1:14 "Except that there is no prophet after me."

1:18 He sent me to proclaim the disavowal of the polytheists on the day of the Great Pilgrimage.

1:25 The Prophet, peace be upon him, gave me the glad tidings of Paradise.

1:30 I possess many virtues.

1:32 Such as have not been narrated for any other of the Companions.

1:36 My kunya is Abu al-Hasan and Abu al-Sibtayn.

1:40 But the most beloved of my kunyas to me is Abu Turab.

1:45 The Prophet, peace be upon him, came to my house one day.

1:51 He did not find me there.

1:53 So he said to his daughter Fatimah:

1:56 "Where is your cousin?"

1:58 She said:

2:00 "There was something between me and him."

2:03 "He became angry with me."

2:04 "So he went out and did not take a nap at my place."

2:07 He then said to a man with him:

2:09 "Go and see where he is."

2:12 He found me in the mosque.

2:15 He returned to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and said:

2:19 "O Messenger of Allah,"

2:21 "He is sleeping in the mosque."

2:25 So the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, came to me.

2:28 While I was sleeping.

2:30 My garment had slipped from my side.

2:33 And dust had gotten on me.

2:35 It had stuck to my body.

2:37 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, began to wipe the dust off me and say:

2:43 "Get up, Abu Turab."

2:45 "Get up, Abu Turab."

2:47 And this kunya became more beloved to me than my own name.

2:52 On the day of Khaybar,

2:55 The conquest of the fortress proved difficult for the Muslims.

2:58 The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

3:02 "I will certainly give this banner tomorrow,"

3:05 "To a man through whose hands Allah will grant victory,"

3:08 "He loves Allah and His Messenger,"

3:10 "And Allah and His Messenger love him."

3:13 The people spent their night wondering,

3:17 Which of them would be given it.

3:19 When morning came,

3:21 They went to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him,

3:26 All of them hoping to be given it.

3:29 The Prophet, peace be upon him, asked about me.

3:33 It was said to him:

3:35 "I am suffering from pain in my eyes."

3:38 He said:

3:40 "Bring him to me."

3:42 I was brought to him.

3:44 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, spat into my eyes and prayed for me.

3:50 I was healed as if I had never had any pain.

3:54 He gave me the banner and said:

3:57 "Proceed steadily until you reach their courtyard,"

4:01 "Then invite them to Islam,"

4:04 "And inform them of what is due to them of the right of Allah therein."

4:10 "For by Allah, for Allah to guide one man through you,"

4:14 "Is better for you than having red camels."

4:19 So who am I?
