1:20 I was a brave man, equal to a thousand knights.

1:23 During the Battle of Badr.

1:27 I went out with my horse alongside the Muslims.

1:30 When the caravan escaped us.

1:33 And the battle became imminent.

1:35 The Prophet, peace be upon him, consulted his Companions.

1:39 He said, "Advise me, O people."

1:43 Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up.

1:46 He spoke and spoke well.

1:48 Then 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up.

1:51 And said the same.

1:53 Then I stood up and said.

1:55 "O Messenger of Allah.

1:57 Lead us wherever Allah commands.

1:59 We are with you.

2:01 By Allah, we will not say to you.

2:03 What the Children of Israel said to Musa.

2:06 “They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here.” (5:24)

2:09 'Go, you and your Lord, and fight; we are sitting right here.'

2:12 But rather.

2:13 “They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here.” (5:24)

2:16 We are fighting alongside you both.

2:19 By the One who sent you with the truth.

2:21 If you were to lead us to Bark al-Ghimad.

2:24 We would fight alongside you to reach it.

2:27 Until you attain it."

2:29 The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to me.

2:31 [peace be upon him].

2:33 Good words, and he prayed for me.

2:36 Long after the death of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

2:39 A while later.

2:40 A man passed by me.

2:42 And said.

2:43 "Blessed are these two eyes.

2:45 That saw the Messenger of Allah.

2:48 peace be upon him.

2:50 By Allah, we wish.

2:52 That we had seen what you saw."

2:54 I listened to what he said.

2:56 And I began to wonder.

2:58 Then I turned to him.

3:00 And said.

3:01 "What makes one of you.

3:03 Wish for a scene.

3:05 That Allah kept hidden from him?

3:07 He does not know if he had witnessed it.

3:09 How he would have fared in it.

3:11 By Allah, there were present.

3:13 With the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

3:15 People whom Allah will cast.

3:18 On their faces into Hell.

3:21 They did not respond to him nor did they believe him.

3:24 Should you not praise Allah.

3:26 That He brought you out of your mothers' wombs.

3:29 Knowing nothing but your Lord.

3:32 Believing in what your Prophet brought.

3:35 And you have been spared the trials that others faced."

3:38 I had a large belly.

3:42 And I had a Roman slave.

3:44 He said to me.

3:46 "Let me cut open your belly.

3:48 To remove some of the fat so that you may become slender.

3:51 And your body may become light.

3:53 For I am an expert in that."

3:55 So he cut open my belly.

3:57 And removed some fat and tissue.

3:59 Then he stitched it up.

4:01 But the wound became inflamed.

4:03 And the slave fled.

4:05 And I died because of that.
