and by Allah, he will kill me too!"

and I have defended myself."

He is a kindle-fire of war;

I left and settled in al-'Is,

which was the route for the people of Makkah to the Levant.

The Muslims who were in Makkah heard of me,

until we became a band of Muslims,

nearly sixty or seventy men.

We would not capture a man from Quraysh
