A new challenge: Who am I?

I am one of the Companions from the Ansar.

I am one of the eight who met the Prophet, peace be upon him, in Makkah.

Regarding my companions and me, the words of Allah were revealed:

“Never stand (to pray) there. A place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers.” (9:108)
