0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 “We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send.” (36:28)

0:33 “We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send.” (36:28)

0:43 “It was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct.” (36:29)

0:52 We did not send down upon the people of this believer, whom his people killed after his death, any host from the heaven.

1:00 Nor were We ever to send down such a host.

1:03 The matter was easier for Us than that.

1:06 Their destruction was nothing but a single blast which Allah sent down upon them from the heaven, and behold, they were extinguished.

1:16 “Ah, the anguish for the bondmen! Never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him!” (36:30)

1:27 Alas for the servants! There does not come to them any messenger from Allah but they mock him.

1:38 “Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which indeed returned not unto them;” (36:31)

1:46 “But all, without exception, will be brought before Us.” (36:32)

1:54 Do these polytheists among your people, O Muhammad, not see how many generations We destroyed before them?

2:03 Do they not see that they will never return to them?

2:06 And all of these generations that We destroyed, and others besides them, will all be brought before Us on the Day of Resurrection.

2:16 “A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof;” (36:33)

2:29 “And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein,” (36:34)

2:47 A sign for these polytheists of Allah’s power to resurrect those of His creation who have died.

2:54 Is His reviving of the dead earth, in which there is neither vegetation nor crops.

2:59 By the rain He sends down from the heaven, until its crops emerge, and then He brings forth from it grain, from which they eat.

3:09 And We have placed in this earth, which We have revived, gardens of date palms and grapevines, and caused springs of water to gush forth therein.

3:18 We created these gardens so that My servants might eat of their fruit and of what their own hands have planted.

3:38 Will these people not be grateful to the One who provides them with this and bestows such blessings upon them?

3:50 “Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not!” (36:36)

4:02 Exalted and free is He who created all the various colors of the earth's vegetation, and created from their own offspring males and females.

4:12 And from things they do not know—things He has not revealed to them—He created likewise in pairs.

4:21 “A token unto them is night. We strip it of the day, and lo! they are in darkness.” (36:37)

4:28 “And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise.” (36:38)

4:37 A sign for them, too, of Allah’s power to do whatever He wills: We strip the day from the night.

4:45 We bring forth the darkness and remove the light of day, and suddenly they are in darkness with the arrival of the night.

4:53 And the sun runs to its place of rest; it is said that it runs to its appointed destinations.

5:00 It travels to its furthest limits at sunset, then it returns.

5:05 This which We have described regarding the movement of the sun is the decree of the Almighty in His vengeance against His enemies.

5:12 The All-Knowing of the interests of His creation and all other things.

5:18 And the moon, We have ordained for it phases, until it returns like the old date stalk.

5:27 A sign for them is Our ordaining the moon’s phases for its waning after it has become full and complete.

5:33 Until it returns like the withered date stalk, which is the branch growing on the palm tree.

5:39 Such is the moon when it is at the end of the month before it disappears.

5:44 It becomes, in its curvature and bending, like that stalk.

5:49 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day, and each is floating in an orbit.

6:06 It is not fitting for the sun to overtake the moon, thereby extinguishing its light with its own.

6:11 So that all times would be day with no night therein.

6:16 Nor can the night outstrip the day, such that its darkness would consume the light, making all times night.

6:24 And all that We have mentioned of the sun, the moon, the night, and the day are floating in an orbit.

6:33 “And a token unto them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship,” (36:41)

6:41 “And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride.” (36:42)

6:47 “And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved;” (36:43)

6:55 “Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while.” (36:44)

7:03 A sign for them, too, of Our power over all that We will.

7:08 We carried those who were saved from the descendants of Adam in the ark of Noah, filled and laden.

7:13 And We have created for these polytheists, from the likes of that ship, the vessels they ride.

7:21 And if We will, We could drown these polytheists when they board the ships at sea.

7:27 Then there would be no helper for them to save them, nor would anything rescue them from drowning.

7:32 Except that We save them as a mercy from Us.

7:36 And to grant them enjoyment for a term they are destined to reach.

7:41 “When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless).” (36:45)

7:50 And when it is said to these polytheists, "Beware of what lies before you of Allah’s punishments."

7:58 And what lies after your destruction, of the torment you will encounter if you die in your disbelief.

8:04 So that your Lord may have mercy on you, if you take heed of that.

8:08 And no sign from the signs of their Lord comes to them but they turn away from it.

8:19 And no proof of Allah’s proofs regarding the truth of His Oneness comes to these polytheists.

8:26 But they turn away from it, neither reflecting upon it nor pondering it.

8:32 “And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest.” (36:47)

8:44 “And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest.” (36:47)

9:04 And when it is said to these polytheists, "Spend from the provision Allah has provided you."

9:11 Those who denied the Oneness of Allah say to those who believe in Allah and His Messenger.

9:17 "Should we feed those whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed?"

9:22 "You, O people, are nothing but in a state of straying from the truth and deviation from guidance."

9:28 It is clear to anyone who contemplates and reflects upon it that they are in error.

9:32 And they say, "When will this promise be, if you are truthful?"

9:41 These polytheists say, "When will this promise of the Hour’s arrival be, if you are truthful, O people?"

9:51 “They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing.” (36:49)

9:59 These polytheists who hasten the punishment of Allah are waiting for nothing.

10:05 Except for a single blast that will seize them while they are disputing at the time of the Hour.

10:08 They are, among themselves, disputing the promise of the Hour’s arrival.

10:13 And they are overcoming it with argument regarding that.

10:16 “Then they cannot make bequest, nor can they return to their own folk.” (36:50)

10:26 These polytheists will not be able, when the Trumpet is blown, to make a bequest to anyone regarding their wealth.

10:34 Nor will any of them who is away from his family be able to return to them.

10:39 Because they will not be granted respite for that, but will be hastened toward destruction.

10:56 "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place? This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the messengers spoke the truth."

11:08 And the Trumpet will be blown—the blast of resurrection.

11:11 And behold, they will emerge from their graves to their Lord, rushing.

11:15 These polytheists will say:

11:18 "Woe to us! Who has awakened us from our sleep?"

11:22 "This is what the Most Gracious promised, and the messengers spoke the truth."

11:26 And it will be said:

11:28 The polytheists will say:

11:30 “Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth.” (36:52)

11:33 Then the people of faith will say:

11:35 "Your resurrection is the promise of the Most Gracious."

11:38 "And the messengers spoke the truth."

11:41 “It is but one Shout, and behold them brought together before Us!” (36:53)

11:51 Their return to life after their death will be nothing but a single blast.

11:57 Which is the third blast of the Trumpet.

12:00 And behold, they will all be gathered before Us, having been brought forth.

12:04 So they will witness the place of presentation and reckoning.

12:06 “This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do.” (36:54)

12:17 On the Day of Resurrection, no soul will be wronged in the least.

12:22 And its Lord will recompense it for the reward of its righteous deeds.

12:26 And no one will bear the burden of another.

12:29 And you will not be recompensed except for the deeds you used to do in the world.

12:36 “Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed,” (36:55)

12:45 “They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining;” (36:56)

12:54 “Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask;” (36:57)

13:01 “The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace!” (36:58)

13:07 The people of Paradise will be occupied with the blessings that come to them, distracted from what the people of the Fire are encountering.

13:14 They will have abundant fruits.

13:17 The people of Paradise and their spouses will be in shade, not exposed to the sun.

13:22 Reclining on raised couches, upon which are cushions and carpets.

13:26 They will have in Paradise fruits, and they will have whatever they desire.

13:31 That is a greeting of peace from Allah, from a Lord who is Merciful to them.

13:37 For He did not punish them for the sins they committed in the world.

13:48 "And stand apart today, O you who disbelieved in Allah."

13:52 For you are heading to a place other than theirs.
