In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05
Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08
It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14
Surah Al-A'raf
0:17
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23
And when we overlooked the mountain above them as if it were a canopy
0:29
They thought it was happening to them
0:40
Take what we have given you with strength
0:48
And remember what is in it that you may become righteous
0:55
And remember, O Muhammad, when We uprooted the mountain from its roots
0:58
So we raised it above the heads of the children of Israel
1:02
Like a cloud of darkness
1:05
They thought that the mountain was falling on them
1:08
And we told them
1:10
Take what We have given you of Our obligations and accept it
1:14
They worked hard on your part to perform it
1:17
And remember the covenants and covenants in our book
1:21
Which we have entrusted you with, including what is in it
1:24
So that you may fear your Lord and fear His punishment
1:29
And when your Lord took from the children of Adam, from their backs, their offspring
1:37
And I bear witness against themselves
1:43
Am I not your Lord?
1:45
They said, “Yes, we witnessed that you may say so on the Day of Resurrection.”
1:51
We were unaware of this
1:58
And remember, O Muhammad, your Lord
2:01
When God extracted the children of Adam from the loins of their fathers
2:06
So he decided to unite him
2:08
And some of them bear witness to this
2:12
Am I not your Lord?
2:14
They said yes
2:16
Those who testified said that some of the sons of Adam agreed with others
2:21
We witnessed against you what you admitted to yourselves
2:26
So that you do not say on the Day of Resurrection
2:29
We did not know that
2:31
We were unaware of it
2:35
Or do you say, “Our fathers were polytheists before.”
2:41
We were descendants after them
2:47
Will you destroy us with what the invalids did?
2:53
Or do you say, “Our fathers were polytheists before.”
2:58
We were descendants after them
3:01
We followed those who attacked them
3:03
Will you destroy us by associating those who polytheized among our fathers?
3:07
Those who invalidated their claim to a god other than God
3:13
And thus We detail the verses, and perhaps they will return
3:21
And as we have detailed, O Muhammad, for your people, the verses of this Surah
3:26
We explained in it what we did to the previous nations
3:30
Likewise, We will detail other verses and explain them to your people
3:35
Let them be encouraged to obey me
3:38
And they repent from their polytheism
3:42
And recite to them the story of the one to whom We gave Our signs and he broke away from them
3:50
Then he slipped away from it, and Satan followed him, and he became one of the deviants
3:59
And recite, O Muhammad, upon your people
4:02
We inform you of what we have given, our arguments and evidence
4:06
So he came out of the signs that God had given him
4:11
So he disavowed her
4:13
Then Satan followed him
4:15
He became a follower of himself
4:18
He ends up disobeying God
4:21
He was among those who perished
4:24
If We had willed, We would have lifted him up with it, but he remained on earth
4:32
But he went down to earth and followed his desires
4:39
He is like a dog, if you force him to pant or leave him panting
4:47
That is like the people who denied Our signs
4:53
So tell stories so that they might think
5:00
Had We willed, We could have elevated this man to whom We have given Our signs with Our signs which We have given him
5:07
But he settled for the life of this world on earth and leaned toward it
5:12
He preferred her pleasure and desires to the afterlife
5:16
He refused to obey God and followed his desires
5:19
Such is the one to whom We gave Our signs and he became detached from them
5:24
Like a panting dog you kicked out or left
5:29
He is like him in his panting because of his abandonment of working according to the Book of God
5:34
And his turning away from God’s preaching
5:36
Whether he preached the signs of God that He had given him or not
5:42
So he does not abandon disbelief in him
5:45
He is like a dog that, regardless of its command, whether it is panting, is expelled or not
5:52
This is the example that you gave of this one to whom We gave Our signs and he slipped away from them
5:58
Like the people who denied our arguments and our arguments
6:03
So they followed the path of this slaughterhouse
6:07
So tell me, O Muhammad, these stories that I told you
6:12
Of the information to whom We have given Our signs and the news of the nations which I have told you
6:17
Let them think about this, consider it, and come forward to obey us
6:24
Miserable as me are the people who denied Our verses while they were wronging themselves
6:35
The people who disbelieved in God’s arguments and evidence and denied them were as bad as me
6:42
And they themselves were diminishing its presence and underestimating its benefits
6:47
By denying them and nothing else
6:52
Whoever God guides is the one who is guided, and whoever He leads astray - those are the losers
7:04
Whoever God helps to obey Him is the one who is guided and follows the path of truth
7:10
Whoever misleads and does not guide him to obey Him is doomed
7:17
And We have created for Hell many jinn and humans
7:25
They have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see
7:33
They have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear
7:41
These are like cattle, nay, they are more astray. These are the heedless
7:53
We have created for Hell many jinn and humans
7:58
These people have hearts in which they do not think about the signs of God
8:03
They do not consider his evidence of his oneness
8:08
They have eyes with which they do not look at God’s signs and evidence
8:13
Through it, they will know the validity of what their messengers are calling them to
8:18
They have ears with which they cannot hear the verses of the Book of God
8:22
They consider it and think about it
8:26
These are like animals that do not understand what is said to them
8:31
In their hearts, they do not understand good from evil
8:35
Rather, these infidels stray from the truth more severely than animals
8:40
Because animals have a choice and no discrimination
8:43
However, he avoided harm
8:46
They ask for the best food for themselves
8:50
These are the people who neglected My verses and My proofs
8:55
They abandoned the evidence for what it indicated of the monotheism of God
9:01
And God has the most beautiful names, so call upon Him by them
9:08
And leave those who deny His names
9:14
They will be rewarded for what they did
9:19
And God has the most beautiful names, so call upon Him by them
9:23
And leave those who deny His names
9:27
So they changed it from what it was
9:29
So they named their gods with it, and added and subtracted from it
9:34
They called some of them Al-Lat, derived from the name of God
9:39
They called some of them Al-Azza, derived from the name of God Almighty
9:44
They will be rewarded for the deeds they used to do
9:49
From disbelief in God and atheism in His names
9:52
And his Messenger was denied
10:00
Among the creation whom We have created is a group guided by the truth
10:06
In truth, they judge and do justice to people
10:10
And those who deny Our signs, We will lure them from where they do not know
10:20
And those who denied our evidence and flags
10:24
We will give them respite
10:27
We adorn them with their evidence
10:30
So that he thinks that he is in denial of the verses of God
10:35
To himself Mohsen
10:38
Until he reaches the purpose of the deadlines that were written for him
10:42
Then he takes it with his bad deeds
10:45
He will reward him with it from the punishment
10:48
That was God's temptation for him
11:01
And I will put back those who denied Our signs
11:06
To inform their Lord of their disobedience
11:09
The amount of punishment and torment that He had decreed for them
11:13
Then He takes them to Him
11:16
My cunning is strong and intense
11:32
Did not those who denied Our verses think?
11:38
And they know that our Messenger is neither mad nor insane
11:43
He is nothing but a warner warning you of God's punishment for your disbelief in Him
11:48
If you do not turn to believe in it
12:03
And perhaps their time has approached
12:09
So in what hadith after it will they believe?
12:34
They warn that their deadlines are approaching
12:39
They will perish for their disbelief
12:42
So what intimidation and warning after the warning of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, will they believe?
12:51
Whoever God leads astray has no guide
12:55
And He leaves them blind in their transgression
13:02
Whoever leads God astray from Al-Rashidi, there is no guide for him
13:07
But God allows them to persist in their disbelief
13:11
And their rebellion in their trap hesitates
13:14
To necessitate the purpose that God has written for them in terms of his punishment and the most painful punishment
13:22
They ask you about the Hour and when it will arrive
13:27
Say, “The knowledge of it is with my Lord.”
13:32
No one can make it clear at the time except Him
13:37
So I said, “In the heavens and the earth.”
13:41
It will not come to you except suddenly
13:44
They ask you as if you were unaware of it
13:50
Say, “The knowledge of it is with God.”
13:55
But most people don't know
14:02
They ask you about the Hour when it will come
14:06
Say, O Muhammad, the knowledge of it is with my Lord
14:10
Only God knows the time of its resurrection
14:13
And no one else will reveal it at the time
14:17
The Hour is hidden for the people of the heavens and the earth to know its time
14:22
The hour comes only suddenly
14:26
These people ask you about the hour
14:29
It is as if you were aware of the question and learned it
14:33
Say, Muhammad, I have no knowledge of that
14:37
Only God knows about it
14:40
But most people do not know that only God knows this
14:46
Rather, they think that knowledge of this exists among some of His creation
14:51
Say, “I do not control for myself any benefit or harm except what God wills.”
15:00
If I had known the unseen, I would have abundantly done good and no evil would have touched me
15:09
I am only a warner and a giver of good tidings to a people who believe
15:18
Tell, O Muhammad, to those who ask you about the Hour
15:22
I cannot bring any benefit to myself
15:25
No harm can be warded off by it
15:28
Except what God wills that I have of that
15:32
To strengthen me and help me
15:35
Even if I knew what was
15:38
Do not do too much good deeds
15:41
It was said that I prepared for the barren year from the fertile one
15:46
And you would know the high from the cheap
15:49
And no harm touched me
15:51
I am only a messenger of God who sent me to you
15:56
I warn of his punishment and give good tidings of his reward to people who believe that I am God’s messenger
