0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 “Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, he verily hath grasped the firm hand-hold. Unto Allah belongeth the sequel of all things.” (31:22)

0:32 “Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, he verily hath grasped the firm hand-hold. Unto Allah belongeth the sequel of all things.” (31:22)

0:37 Whoever submits his face to Allah, humbling himself in servitude and acknowledging His divinity,

0:44 and obeys Allah in His commands and prohibitions, has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break for those who hold fast to it.

0:54 To Allah is the final return of every matter, its good and its evil; He is the One who will question His servants about it and recompense them for it.

1:03 “And whosoever disbelieveth, let not his disbelief afflict thee (O Muhammad). Unto Us is their return, and We shall tell them what they did. Lo! Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men).” (31:23)

1:20 Whoever disbelieves in Allah, let not his disbelief grieve you.

1:23 Do not let your soul perish in sorrow over them.

1:27 For their return on the Day of Resurrection is to Us.

1:30 We shall inform them of the wicked deeds they committed in the world.

1:35 Then We shall recompense them for them.

1:38 Indeed, Allah has full knowledge of the disbelief that their hearts conceal.

1:44 We grant them enjoyment for a little while, then We shall force them into a severe punishment.

1:54 We grant them respite in this world for a short time, during which they enjoy themselves.

1:59 Then We shall drive them, against their will, into a harsh punishment.

2:05 And if you ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they will surely say, "Allah."

2:13 “If thou shouldst ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth? they would answer: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not.” (31:25)

2:21 And if you ask, O Muhammad, these polytheists,

2:25 "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they will surely say, "Allah."

2:30 Then say to them, "Praise be to Allah who created all of that,"

2:34 and not to those who create nothing, while they themselves are created.

2:38 Rather, most of these polytheists do not know who is worthy of praise,

2:43 nor where the place of gratitude lies.

2:46 “Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.” (31:26)

2:56 “Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Allah sufficeth for witness between me and you. He knoweth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers.” (29:52)

3:01 Whatever that thing may be, whether an idol, a statue, or otherwise.

3:07 Indeed, Allah is free of need from His servants because He is their Sovereign.

3:12 He is the One praised for the blessings He has bestowed upon His creation.

3:17 “And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.” (31:27)

3:22 “And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.” (31:27)

3:32 Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might, All-Wise.

3:37 If all the trees on earth were pens,

3:42 and the sea were ink, with seven seas behind it to replenish it,

3:48 and one were to write the words of Allah with those pens and that ink,

3:54 those pens would break,

3:56 and that ink would be exhausted, yet the words of Allah would not be exhausted.

4:01 Even if He replenished it with seven more seas.

4:04 Indeed, Allah is Exalted in His retribution against those who associate partners with Him and claim another god alongside Him.

4:11 He is Wise in the management of His creation.

4:15 “Your creation and your raising (from the dead) are only as (the creation and the raising of) a single soul. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.” (31:28)

4:21 Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

4:28 Your creation, O people, and your resurrection are not, in the sight of Allah,

4:32 anything but like the creation and resurrection of a single soul.

4:36 This is because nothing that Allah wills is difficult for Him.

4:41 Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing of what these polytheists say and what they fabricate against their Lord.

4:47 He is All-Seeing of what they and others do of deeds.

4:51 And He will recompense them for that accordingly.

4:56 “Hast thou not seen how Allah causeth the night to pass into the day and causeth the day to pass into the night, and hath subdued the sun and the moon (to do their work), each running unto an appointed term; and that Allah is Informed of what ye do?” (31:29)

5:05 He causes the day to enter into the night, and He has subjected the sun and the moon.

5:11 “Hast thou not seen how Allah causeth the night to pass into the day and causeth the day to pass into the night, and hath subdued the sun and the moon (to do their work), each running unto an appointed term; and that Allah is Informed of what ye do?” (31:29)

5:21 Do you not see, O Muhammad, with your own eyes, that Allah causes the night to enter into the day,

5:27 increasing the hours of the day by what is taken from the hours of the night?

5:32 And He causes the day to enter into the night, increasing the hours of the night by what is taken from the hours of the day.

5:39 He has subjected the sun and the moon for the interests and benefits of His creation.

5:44 All of this runs according to His command until an appointed time.

5:48 And indeed, Allah is well-acquainted and knowledgeable of your deeds, O people, whether good or evil.

5:55 And He will recompense you for all of that.

5:59 “That (is so) because Allah, He is the True, and that which they invoke beside Him is the False, and because Allah, He is the Sublime, the Great.” (31:30)

6:07 “That (is so) because Allah, He is the True, and that which they invoke beside Him is the False, and because Allah, He is the Sublime, the Great.” (31:30)

6:18 This which I have informed you, O Muhammad, that Allah has done,

6:22 of causing the night to enter the day and the day to enter the night,

6:26 He has done it only because He is truly Allah, unlike those whom these polytheists call upon.

6:33 And because that which these polytheists worship besides Allah is falsehood that will vanish.

6:39 And because Allah is the Most High above all things.

6:43 Everything beneath Him is humbled and subservient to Him.

6:47 He is the Great, before whom everything else is insignificant.

6:57 I inform you of the blessing of Allah so that He may show you of His signs.

7:02 Indeed, in that are signs for every patient, grateful person.

7:10 Do you not see, O Muhammad, that ships sail in the sea as a blessing from Allah upon His creation,

7:17 so that He may show you of His lessons and His proofs against you?

7:21 Indeed, in the sailing of ships in the sea is evidence that Allah, who caused them to sail, is the Truth,

7:27 and that what they call upon besides Him is falsehood.

7:30 For everyone who restrains himself from the forbidden things of Allah,

7:33 and thanks Him for His blessings, and does not disbelieve.

7:38 “And if a wave enshroudeth them like awnings, they cry unto Allah, making their faith pure for Him only. But when He bringeth them safe to land, some of them compromise. None denieth Our signs save every traitor ingrate.” (31:32)

7:49 But when He saves them to the land, some of them are moderate.

7:55 “And if a wave enshroudeth them like awnings, they cry unto Allah, making their faith pure for Him only. But when He bringeth them safe to land, some of them compromise. None denieth Our signs save every traitor ingrate.” (31:32)

8:04 And when waves like canopies cover these people—those who call upon gods other than Allah—when they board the ships,

8:10 in the intensity of their darkness and the abundance of water,

8:14 and they fear drowning,

8:16 they cry out to Allah in supplication,

8:18 sincere to Him in obedience,

8:20 associating nothing with Him in that moment.

8:24 But when He saves them to the land,

8:26 some of them are moderate in their speech and their acknowledgment of their Lord,

8:31 while inwardly harboring disbelief in their Lord.

8:34 And none rejects Our signs and proofs except every treacherous, ungrateful person.

8:54 Nor can a child avail his father anything.

9:00 Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth.

9:03 So let not the worldly life deceive you.

9:08 And let not the Deceiver deceive you concerning Allah.

9:14 O you polytheists,

9:16 fear Allah,

9:17 and fear that His wrath may befall you on a day when no father will avail his child,

9:23 nor will a child avail his father anything.

9:27 Because the matter on that day will be in the hands of the One who cannot be overcome.

9:31 Indeed, the promise of Allah regarding the coming of this day is truth.

9:35 So let not the adornment of worldly life and its pleasures deceive you.

9:40 And let not any deceiver deceive you concerning Allah.

9:43 This refers to anything that lures a human being, whoever it may be,

9:47 whether it be a devil, a human, or the world itself.

9:53 “Lo! Allah! With Him is knowledge of the Hour. He sendeth down the rain, and knoweth that which is in the wombs. No soul knoweth what it will earn to-morrow, and no soul knoweth in what land it will die. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.” (31:34)

10:02 And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow.

10:08 “Lo! Allah! With Him is knowledge of the Hour. He sendeth down the rain, and knoweth that which is in the wombs. No soul knoweth what it will earn to-morrow, and no soul knoweth in what land it will die. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.” (31:34)

10:15 Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Acquainted.

10:23 Indeed, with Allah is the knowledge of the Hour when the Resurrection will occur; no one knows that except Him.

10:30 He sends down the rain from the sky, and He knows what is in the wombs of the females.

10:36 And no living soul knows what it will do tomorrow.

10:40 And no living soul knows in what land its death will occur.

10:45 Indeed, the One who knows all of that is Allah.

10:49 He is All-Knowing of everything.

10:52 He is All-Acquainted with what is to come and what has already passed.
