0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14 Surah An-Nisa
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 Let those who exchange the life of this world for the afterlife fight in the name of God
0:31 And whoever fights in the cause of God, he will be killed or defeated
0:39 We will give him a great reward
0:45 Let those who sell their lives in this world for the reward of the hereafter be fought in the religion of God
0:51 And sell them to them
0:53 They spend their money seeking God’s satisfaction
0:56 And they gave their guidance to him about it
0:59 And whoever fights for the sake of God in order to establish the religion of God
1:04 Then the enemies of God kill him
1:06 Or he defeats them and wins them
1:09 We will give him a great reward
1:13 Why do you not fight for the sake of God when you are weak among men?
1:25 And the evening and the children who say, “Our Lord, take us out of this town whose people are oppressive.”
1:39 And appoint for us a guardian from Yourself
1:45 And make us a helper from You
1:51 And what is the matter with you, O believers, that you do not fight for the sake of God?
1:56 And about the weak people of your religion
1:59 Those whom the disbelievers have weakened and humiliated
2:03 In order to tempt them and turn them away from their religion
2:07 Of men, women and boys
2:10 Who say in their prayers
2:13 Oh God, get us out of this village
2:16 It is Mecca that has wronged us
2:20 And appoint for us from You a guardian who will be responsible for our affairs
2:24 And appoint for us someone from You who will help us against those who wronged us
2:29 Those who believe fight in the cause of God
2:36 And those who disbelieve fight in the name of the tyrant
2:42 So they fought the friends of Satan
2:47 Satan's plot was weak
2:53 Those who believe in God and His Messenger
2:57 They fight in obedience to God and according to the method of His religion
3:01 And those who denied the oneness of God and denied His Messenger
3:05 They fight to obey Satan, his path and his method
3:10 So, O believers, fight Satan’s friends
3:15 Satan's plot is due to his siding with his unbelievers against people of faith
3:21 He was weak
3:23 Do not fear Satan's friends
3:27 Have you not seen those who were told to hold back your hands and perform prayer?
3:35 And perform prayer and give zakat
3:40 When fighting was prescribed for them
3:44 So a group of them fear people as they fear God
4:00 Or more afraid
4:02 And they said, “Our Lord, why did you decree fighting for us?”
4:07 If it were not for our delay for a short time
4:16 Say the enjoyment of the world is little
4:19 The afterlife is better for those who fear
4:23 And you will not oppress a fuse
4:27 Did you not look with your heart, O Muhammad, at those who were told of your companions?
4:33 When they asked you to ask your Lord to force them to fight
4:38 Restrain your hands and refrain from fighting the polytheists
4:43 They performed prayers and gave zakat to those who deserve it
4:46 When the fighting they had asked for was forced upon them
4:51 If a group of them fear that people will fight them
4:55 Like the fear of God or more fear
4:58 They said they were afraid of the fighting
5:01 When you forced us to fight
5:03 Do you not delay us until they die on their beds and in their homes?
5:09 Say, O Muhammad, to these people
5:12 Your life in this world and your enjoyment of it are little
5:16 Because it is mortal
5:18 The bliss of the Hereafter is better for those who fear God
5:21 And God will not diminish the rewards of your deeds by a single ounce
5:53 Say it's all from God
5:58 What is the matter with these people who can hardly understand a word?
6:06 Wherever you are, death will strike you and you will die
6:11 Do not be afraid of death and be weak in meeting your enemy
6:16 Death will reach your souls
6:19 Even if you defend yourself against it with strong fortresses
6:23 And if they are blessed with prosperity, victory and conquest
6:26 They say this is from God and by His discretion
6:30 Even if they are distressed by defeat, wounds and pain
6:35 They say this is from Muhammad
6:38 He mismanaged and misconsidered
6:41 Say, O Muhammad, to these people
6:44 It's all from God
6:47 What is the matter with these people, they hardly know
6:51 The truth of what you tell them
6:53 Of everything that befalls them, whether good or evil
6:57 It is from God
6:59 Whatever good befalls you is from God
7:05 Whatever evil befalls you is from yourself
7:12 And We sent you as a messenger to the people
7:17 God is sufficient as a witness
7:22 What prosperity and blessing befalls you, O Muhammad
7:25 It is God's grace upon you
7:28 And whatever hardship, hardship and misfortune has befallen you
7:31 It is from yourself through a sin that you have acquired
7:34 We have only made you, O Muhammad, a messenger
7:38 If they accept what I was sent with, it is for themselves
7:42 If they respond, do so
7:44 May God be your witness in your statement
7:48 And to whom it was sent
7:50 Your matter and their matter are not hidden from him
7:54 He is your reward and their reward
7:57 Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed God
8:03 And whoever turns away, We have not sent you as a guardian over them
8:11 Whoever among you people obeys Muhammad has obeyed me
8:16 And whoever turns away from obeying you, O Muhammad, then turn away from you
8:20 For We did not send you over them as a guardian and accountant of what they do
8:25 Rather, We sent you to explain to them what was revealed to them
8:30 It is sufficient for us to preserve their deeds
8:33 They have accountants for it
8:35 They say obedience
8:39 If they leave you, a group of them will come home other than what you say
8:54 And God writes what they spend the night
8:59 So turn away from them and trust in God
9:04 God is sufficient as a disposer of affairs
9:08 And they say to the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, if he orders them to do something
9:15 Your command is obeyed
9:17 So if they leave you, O Muhammad
9:20 Change a group of them at night that you tell them
9:24 And God writes down whatever you say at night
9:28 In the books of their deeds that you write, you have preserved it
9:32 So, O Muhammad, turn away from these hypocrites
9:36 You delegate your affairs to God
9:38 And God is sufficient for you as a disposer of affairs in what He commands you
9:41 And defend and support you
9:44 They do not contemplate the Qur’an
9:49 Even if it was from other than God
9:53 They would have found a lot of difference in it
9:58 Will those who spend the night not contemplate other than what you tell them, O Muhammad, the Book of God?
10:05 So they know God’s argument against them in obeying you
10:09 And what I have brought to them is a revelation from their Lord
10:14 Because of the consistency of its meanings and the distortion of its rulings
10:17 If that were from someone other than God
10:20 Its rulings would differ and its meanings would be contradictory
10:24 Some of them revealed the corruption of others
10:27 If a matter of security or fear comes to them
10:34 They claimed it
10:36 Even if they returned it to the Messenger and to those in authority among them
10:41 He knows those who infer it from them
10:47 And had it not been for God’s grace and mercy upon you
10:51 You will not follow Satan except a little
10:56 And if this group came to spend the night
11:00 Other than what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, says
11:05 News about an invasive Muslim secret
11:09 That they were safe from their enemy
11:12 Or their fear of their enemy
11:14 Disclose it and spread it among the people before the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
11:20 Even if they rejected the command that befell them from their enemy and the Muslims
11:24 To the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
11:27 And to their princes
11:29 They remained silent and did not broadcast the news that came to them
11:33 Until he is the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
11:37 Those in charge of their affairs are the ones responsible for reporting on this
11:41 They correct it if it is correct
11:44 Or invalidate it if it is invalid
11:47 Knowing this is one of those in authority who deduces it
11:51 And had it not been that God has bestowed upon you, O believers
11:55 Thanks to him and his success
11:57 So I saved you from what these hypocrites were afflicted with
12:01 You would have been like them, so you would have followed Satan
12:05 If a matter of security or fear comes to them
12:08 They broadcast it except a few of them
12:11 So fight in the name of God, and you do not burden anyone but yourself
12:18 He incited the believers
12:22 Perhaps God will stop the violence of those who disbelieve
12:28 God is more powerful and more severe in punishment
12:36 So fight, O Muhammad, the enemies of God among the polytheists in Islam
12:41 God does not burden you with what He has imposed on you of jihad against His enemy and your enemy
12:47 Except what carried you from that
12:49 And urge the believers to fight those whom I ordered you to fight
12:54 Perhaps God will stop the fighting of those who deny His oneness
12:59 God is more severe in spite of His enemy and more severe in punishment
13:04 Do not give up fighting them
13:07 I will monitor them with force, spite, abuse, and punishment
13:12 Whoever intercedes with a good deed, a share of it will be given to him
13:22 And whoever intercedes for a bad deed, a liability for it will be assigned to him
13:31 God is abhorrent to everything
13:37 O Muhammad, who will insist on interceding for the sins of your companions?
13:41 He will intercede for them in jihad against their enemy
13:44 For his intercession, he will receive a share of God’s reward
13:49 And who can intercede for the sins of the people of disbelief in God against those who believe in Him?
13:53 So he fights them with them, and he gets a share of the burden and the sin
13:59 God is the Protector and Witness of all things
14:04 It is not objectionable that the verse was revealed as we mentioned
14:09 Then it affected every intercessor, whether good or bad
14:13 If you are greeted with a greeting, greet with a better one or return it
14:23 Indeed, God is the Accountant of all things
14:30 If you are prayed for long life, survival and safety
14:35 So pray for the one who prayed for you better than what he prayed for you
14:40 Or return the greeting: God is over everything
14:45 What do you people do, whether obedience or disobedience?
14:49 To protect you until He rewards you for it
14:56 God, there is no god but Him
15:00 To gather you together until the Day of Resurrection, of which there is no doubt
15:08 Who is more truthful in speech than God?
15:14 The deity to whom worship is not appropriate
15:18 To resurrect you after your death
15:21 May all of you be brought to a stand of reckoning
15:25 In which people are rewarded for their deeds, there is no doubt about the truth of that
15:31 What speaker is truer in speech than God?
15:35 This is because the liar is just lying
15:38 To bring benefit or harm with his lies
15:42 God is the Creator of benefit and harm
