0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14 Surah Seven
0:17 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 Say, “Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?” Say, “Allah.”
0:30 We or you may be on guidance or in clear error
0:39 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists
0:42 Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?
0:45 By sending down rain, life will be given to your crops
0:49 And harness the sun, moon and stars for your benefits
0:53 And the earth, by bringing forth from it your sustenance and the sustenance of your livestock
0:59 If they say we don't know
1:01 So say, “It is God who provides you.”
1:05 Tell them: We are perhaps on guidance or in error
1:10 Or are you on error or guidance?
1:14 Say, “You will not be asked about what we have committed, and we will not be asked about what you do.”
1:22 Say: Our Lord will bring us together, then He will open between us with truth, and He is the Opener, the All-Knowing
1:33 Tell those polytheists
1:36 One of our teams is right and the other is astray
1:40 Do not ask what we have committed
1:44 We do not ask about the work you do
1:48 Tell them: Our Lord will gather us together on the Day of Resurrection with Him
1:53 Then he will judge between us fairly
1:56 Then it will become clear to us who is guided and who is astray
2:00 God is the All-Knowing Judge of judgment between His creation
2:06 Say, "Show me those whom you have joined as partners."
2:13 No, but He is God, the Mighty, the Wise
2:20 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists
2:24 Show me, O people, whom you have attached to God
2:28 So you made them partners in your worship
2:32 What did they create from the earth?
2:35 Or do they have a trap in the heavens?
2:38 They lied, it is not as they described
2:41 Rather, He is the deity who has no partner
2:44 And He is the Mighty in His revenge on those who associate Him with others
2:48 The wise man is in his management of his creation
2:52 We have not sent you except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner to all mankind
3:03 A good tidings and a warner, but most people do not know
3:13 We did not send you, O Muhammad, to your people in particular
3:17 But We sent you to all people
3:22 Bringing good tidings to those who obey you and a warner to those who lie to you
3:26 But most people do not know that God also sent you to all humans
3:34 And they say: When will this promise come, if you are truthful?
3:41 I will tell you the appointed day for which you will neither delay an hour nor advance
3:52 These polytheists say that this promise will happen at any time
3:58 If, in what you tell us of that, you are truthful that it exists
4:04 Tell them, O Muhammad, there is a day when He will come to you, O people
4:11 Do not delay it when an hour comes to you, and look for repentance and repentance
4:18 And do not seek torment before it, because God has set a term for you for that
4:26 Those who disbelieved said: We will not believe in this Qur’an nor in what is before it
4:34 If only you could see, when the wrongdoers are detained before their Lord, some of them would return to each other’s words
4:44 Some of them return to each other saying that those who were weak say to those who were arrogant
4:52 If it were not for you, we would be believers
5:01 And those who disbelieved said, “We will not believe in this Qur’an that Muhammad brought to us.”
5:08 Nor with the book that someone else brought from his hands
5:13 If only you could see, when the wrongdoers stand before their Lord, blaming each other and debating with each other
5:20 The oppressed say to those who were against them that they were arrogant
5:26 If it were not for you, O leaders and great people of this world, we would have believed in God and His signs
5:35 Those who were arrogant said to those who were weak, “We have turned you away from guidance.”
5:43 Did We turn you away from guidance after it had come to you? Nay, you were criminals
5:56 Those who were arrogant in this world said to those who were weak in it that they were followers of the misguided people among them
6:04 We have turned you away from guidance and prevented you from following the truth after it came to you from God, making it clear to you
6:12 Rather, you were criminals, and your preference for disbelief in God over faith prevented you from following guidance and believing in God and His Messenger.
6:24 And those who were weak said to those who were arrogant. Rather, they plotted night and day
6:33 Rather, they plotted night and day when you commanded us to disbelieve in God and make equals to Him
6:43 They were filled with remorse when they saw the torment
6:51 And We placed shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be rewarded except for what they used to do?
7:04 Those who were weak and were followers of their leaders said to those who were arrogant in it
7:11 Rather, your plotting against us day and night turned us away from guidance, when you commanded us to disbelieve in God and to make examples and similarities to Him in worship and divinity.
7:23 They regretted their negligence in obeying God in this world when they saw the punishment God had prepared for them
7:32 And the hands of the disbelievers in God are chained in Hell to their necks in pools of fire from Hell
7:39 A recompense for what they disbelieved in God in this world
7:45 And We did not send any warner to any town except that its affluent people said, “Indeed, we disbelieve in what you have been sent with.”
7:59 We did not send to the people of a town a warner warning them of Our punishment that would befall them
8:05 Except that its leaders and leaders say in error, “Indeed, we are disbelievers in what you were sent with of the Oneness of God.”
8:16 They said, “We have more wealth and children, and we will not be punished.”
8:26 The arrogant people from every town said, “We have more wealth and children, and we will not be punished in the Hereafter.”
8:36 Because if God were not satisfied with our religion and work, He would not have given us money or children
8:46 Say, “Indeed, my Lord extends sustenance to whomever He wills and He determines it, but most people do not know.”
9:05 Tell them, O Muhammad, that my Lord extends the provision of livelihood in this world to whomever He wills from among His creation, and restricts it to whomever He wills.
9:15 There is no out of love for the One to whom He extends His blessings, nor out of hatred on His part for the One whom He has power over, but He does so as a trial and test for His servants.
9:27 Most people do not know that God does this as a test for His servants
9:32 Neither your wealth nor your children are those that will bring you closer to us as companions except those who believe and do righteous deeds. For those, they will receive a double reward for what they have done, and they will be safe in the chambers.
10:05 And what is your wealth that you, people, boast about over people, or your children, about whom you are arrogant, which brings you closer to us, except those who believe and do righteous deeds?
10:20 Their wealth and children will bring them closer to God by obeying God in that
10:26 These people receive from God double the reward of the eleventh, and they are in the chambers of Paradise, safe from the punishment of God
10:38 And those who strive in Our signs to be helpless, they will be brought to the torment
10:48 And those who work on our arguments and our book seek to nullify it and want to extinguish its light
10:57 They think that they themselves will miss us and will defeat us. They will be brought to the torment of Hell on the Day of Resurrection
11:08 Say, “Indeed, my Lord extends sustenance to whomever He wills of His servants and decrees for Him, and whatever thing you spend, He will replace it with it, and He is the Best of Providers.”
11:29 Say, O Muhammad, that my Lord extends sustenance to whomsoever He wills among His creation, and expands it for Him out of honor and not out of honor.
11:39 He has power over whomever He wants, and He oppresses and oppresses them. It is an insult to him, and not an insult, but an ordeal and a test
11:49 And whatever expenses you spend, O people, in obedience to God, God will reward you with it
11:57 He is the best of those who are said to be provided with and described with
12:02 And on the Day when He will gather them all together, then He will say to the angels: “Was it you they worshiped?”
12:18 They said, Glory be to You, You are our protector besides them. Rather, they were worshiping the jinn, and most of them were believers in Him
12:33 On the Day when We will gather all these infidels together, then we will say to the angels: Did these people worship you instead of us?
12:43 Then the angels disavowed them and said, “You are free, our Lord, and you are free from what these partners and equals have added to you.”
12:55 You are our guardian instead of them. We do not take a guardian besides you. Rather, they worshiped the jinn. Most of them were believing jinn, claiming that they were daughters of God.
13:10 Today, you do not have the power to benefit or harm one another, and We say to those who wronged, “Taste the torment of the Fire in which you used to deny.”
13:31 Today, some of you, O angels, do not have the power to benefit or harm those who were in this world who worshiped you.
13:39 And we say to those who worshiped other than God and put worship in a place other than its proper place, taste the torment of the Fire, which you used to deny in this world, for you have already entered it.
13:54 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, they say, “This is nothing but a man who wants to turn you away from what your fathers worshiped.” And they say, “This is nothing but an inventor.”
14:17 And those who disbelieved said to the truth when it came to them: This is nothing but obvious magic
14:28 And when the verses of Our Book are recited to these polytheists, making it clear that they are the truth from Us, they then say, “Do not follow Muhammad.” He is only a man who wants to turn you away from the idols your fathers used to worship.
14:48 These polytheists said, “O Muhammad, what you recited to us is nothing but a fabricated lie.”
14:57 The infidels said to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, when God sent him as a prophet, “This is clear magic,” which makes it clear to those who see it and contemplate it that it is magic.
15:09 We have not given them books to study them, nor did We send to them before you any warner
15:23 We have not sent down to the polytheists books that they should read, nor have We sent down to these polytheists of your people, O Muhammad, what they say and do before you before you any prophet warning them of Our punishment for him.
15:40 And those before them denied, and they did not amount to a tenth of what We gave them, so they denied My Messengers, so how was Nukir?
15:54 And the nations before them denied Our messengers and revelations
15:59 And your people, O Muhammad, have not attained a tenth of what We gave the nations before them in terms of power, hands, force, and other blessings.
16:11 So they denied My messengers in what they had given me of My message, so We punished them. So look, O Muhammad, how they were changed and my punishment.
