5:07 “And of the wandering Arabs there is he who taketh that which he expendeth (for the cause of Allah) as a loss, and awaiteth (evil) turns of fortune for you (that he may be rid of it). The evil turn of fortune will be theirs. Allah is Hearer, Knower.” (9:98)

5:13 And he awaits for you the turns of fortune.

5:18 Upon them is the turn of evil.

5:23 And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

5:28 And among the Bedouins are those who consider what they spend in the struggle against the polytheists or in aiding a Muslim.

5:35 To be a loss and a burden.

5:37 They do not hope for any reward for it, nor do they ward off any punishment from themselves by it.

5:42 And they await for you the turns of fortune.

5:45 That the days and nights might turn against you with misfortune and the victory of your enemy.

5:51 Allah has brought the turn of evil upon them.

5:54 And the descent of misfortune upon them.

5:57 And Allah is All-Hearing of the supplications of those who pray.

6:00 All-Knowing of their schemes.

6:02 And of the punishment of Allah that is descending upon them.

6:05 And of what they are destined for regarding His painful punishment.

6:10 “And of the wandering Arabs there is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day, and taketh that which he expendeth and also the prayers of the messenger as acceptable offerings in the sight of Allah. Lo! verily it is an acceptable offering for them. Allah will bring them into His mercy. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (9:99)

7:14 Allah will admit them into the fold of His mercy and cause them to enter Paradise.

7:18 Indeed, Allah is Forgiving of what they have committed.

7:21 Merciful to them, that He would not punish them after their repentance and their reform.

7:27 “And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and the Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness - Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph.” (9:100)

9:22 And among the people who are around your city of the Bedouins are hypocrites.

9:27 And among the people of your city also are groups of hypocrites.

9:33 They have become accustomed to it and trained in it.

9:35 You do not know them, O Muhammad, these hypocrites.

9:39 But We know them.

9:42 We will punish these hypocrites twice.

9:46 Then these hypocrites will be returned, after Allah punishes them twice.

9:52 To a great punishment.

9:54 And that is the punishment of Hell.

9:58 “And (there are) others who have acknowledged their faults. They mixed a righteous action with another that was bad. It may be that Allah will relent toward them. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (9:102)

11:32 Indeed, your prayer and your seeking forgiveness is a source of tranquility for them.

11:40 And of other than that from the speech of His creation.

11:43 All-Knowing of what you seek through your prayer and of other matters concerning His servants.

11:50 “Know they not that Allah is He Who accepteth repentance from His bondmen and taketh the alms, and that Allah is He Who is the Relenting, the Merciful.” (9:104)

12:09 Do these people who failed to join the struggle not know?

12:13 That it is Allah who accepts the repentance of those of His servants who repent, or rejects it.

12:19 And He takes the charity of those who give, or rejects it, not Muhammad.

12:25 So let them seek by that His countenance, not Muhammad or anyone else.

12:29 And let them know that Allah is the One who turns to His servants with pardon when they return to His obedience.

12:36 The Merciful to them if they turn to His pleasure away from His punishment.

12:44 “And say (unto them): Act! Allah will behold your actions, and (so will) His messenger and the believers, and ye will be brought back to the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do.” (9:105)

13:27 What of it was sincere and what of it was for show.

13:31 And what of it was obedience and what of it was disobedience to Allah.

13:35 And He will recompense you for all of that.

13:38 “And (there are) others who await Allah's decree, whether He will punish them or will forgive them. Allah is Knower, Wise.” (9:106)

13:53 And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

13:58 And among those who failed to join you, O believers.

14:03 Are others deferred for the command of Allah and His decree.

14:07 Either He will withhold them from repentance through His abandonment.

14:11 And punish them for their sins.

14:14 Or He will grant them success to repent, so they repent from their sins.

14:18 And Allah is All-Knowing of their affair and what they are destined for.

14:23 All-Wise in His management of them and the management of others among His creation.

14:28 No flaw enters His judgment.

14:30 “And as for those who chose a place of worship out of opposition and disbelief, and in order to cause dissent among the believers, and as an outpost for those who warred against Allah and His messenger aforetime, they will surely swear: We purposed naught save good. Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars.” (9:107)

15:28 And the builders will surely swear, "We intended nothing but kindness."

15:33 And to provide ease for the weak.

15:36 And those who are unable to go to the mosque of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to pray in it.

15:42 And Allah bears witness that they are indeed liars in that oath of theirs.

15:47 “Never stand (to pray) there. A place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers.” (9:108)

16:29 Within the presence of the mosque that was founded upon piety.

16:32 Are men who love to cleanse themselves with water when they come from the call of nature.

16:38 And Allah loves those who purify themselves with water.

16:42 Is one who laid his foundation on piety from Allah and His pleasure better, or one who laid his foundation on the edge of a crumbling cliff, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

17:12 Which of these who built the mosques is better, O people, in your view?

17:18 Those who began building their mosque upon the fear of Allah are better.

17:23 Or those who began building their mosque upon the edge of a crumbling cliff?

17:28 So the crumbling cliff collapsed with its building into the fire of Hell.

17:33 And Allah does not guide to righteousness in his actions.

17:37 Anyone who builds his structure in other than its right and proper place.

17:42 The structure they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts.

17:50 “The building which they built will never cease to be a misgiving in their hearts unless their hearts be torn to pieces. Allah is Knower, Wise.” (9:110)

17:58 The structure of those who took a mosque for harm will not cease.

18:04 To be a cause of doubt and hypocrisy in their hearts.

18:07 They think that they were doing good in building it.

18:11 Unless their hearts are severed, and they die.

18:15 And Allah is All-Knowing of what these hypocrites and others are upon.
