0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 “Say: The angel of death, who hath charge concerning you, will gather you, and afterward unto your Lord ye will be returned.” (32:11)

0:34 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists:

0:37 The Angel of Death, who has been entrusted with taking your souls, will complete your count by seizing them.

0:44 Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be returned to your Lord alive.

0:49 He will then recompense the righteous among you for their righteousness, and the evildoer for their evil.

0:56 “Couldst thou but see when the guilty hang their heads before their Lord, (and say): Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back; we will do right, now we are sure.” (32:12)

1:14 If only you could see, O Muhammad, these criminals,

1:17 when they hang their heads before their Lord in shame, saying:

1:23 "Our Lord, we have now seen the truth of what we used to deny regarding Your punishment,

1:28 and we have heard from You the confirmation of what Your messengers commanded us to do in the worldly life.

1:34 So return us to the world, that we may act in obedience to You."

1:38 "We have now attained certainty regarding what we were ignorant of in the world concerning Your Oneness,

1:44 and that it is not fitting for anyone to be worshipped but You."

1:54 “And if We had so willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me concerning evildoers took effect: that I will fill hell with the jinn and mankind together.” (32:13)

2:09 Had We willed, O Muhammad, We could have given these polytheists from your people,

2:15 and others among those who disbelieve in Allah, their guidance and success in believing in Him.

2:21 But the decree of punishment from Me has become inevitable for them.

2:24 I will surely fill Hell with jinn and mankind together—those among them who are people of disobedience and disbelief in Allah.

2:33 "So taste the consequence of your having forgotten the meeting of this Day of yours; indeed, We have forgotten you."

2:41 “So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your day, lo! We forget you. Taste the doom of immortality because of what ye used to do.” (32:14)

2:49 It will be said to these polytheists when they enter the Fire:

2:53 "Taste the punishment of Allah because you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours."

2:58 "We have abandoned you today in the Fire."

3:01 And it will also be said to them:

3:03 "Taste a punishment in which you will abide forever, without end,"

3:08 because of what you used to do in the world of disobedience to Allah.

3:13 “Only those believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate and hymn the praise of their Lord, and they are not scornful,” (32:15)

3:29 None believe in Our proofs and the verses of Our Book

3:33 except those who, when they are reminded of them and exhorted,

3:37 fall down in prostration to Allah, humbling themselves,

3:42 and glorify Allah during their prostration,

3:45 declaring Him free from what the disbelievers attribute to Him.

3:49 They do this while not being too proud to prostrate to Him,

3:53 nor to glorify and humble themselves before Him.

4:13 Their sides forsake their beds—those who believe in the verses of Allah—

4:19 and they rise from the places where they lie down for sleep,

4:23 forgoing sleep out of preoccupation with the night prayer.

4:27 They call upon their Lord in fear and in hope of His pardon.

4:32 And from what We have provided them, they spend in the way of Allah,

4:36 and they fulfill from it the rights of Allah that He has obligated upon them.

4:43 “No soul knoweth what is kept hid for them of joy, as a reward for what they used to do.” (32:17)

4:52 As a reward for what they used to do.

4:59 No soul knows what is hidden for it—

5:02 what Allah has concealed for those whose qualities He, the Exalted, has described in these two verses,

5:09 of things that will delight their eyes in His Paradise on the Day of Resurrection,

5:13 as a reward for the deeds they used to perform in the world.

5:20 “Is he who is a believer like unto him who is an evil-liver? They are not alike.” (32:18)

5:30 Is then the one who is a disbeliever and a denier like the one who is a believer in Allah and a confirmer of His promise and His threat?

5:37 No, those who disbelieve in Allah and those who believe in Him are not equal before Him.

5:44 “But as for those who believe and do good works, for them are the Gardens of Retreat - a welcome (in reward) for what they used to do.” (32:19)

6:00 As for those who believed in Allah and His Messenger and acted upon what Allah and His Messenger commanded them,

6:07 for them are gardens—the dwellings where they will reside in the Hereafter and find refuge.

6:13 As a hospitality for what they used to do in the world in obedience to Him.

6:22 “And as for those who do evil, their retreat is the Fire. Whenever they desire to issue forth from thence, they are brought back thither. Unto them it is said: Taste the torment of the Fire which ye used to deny.” (32:20)

6:28 “And as for those who do evil, their retreat is the Fire. Whenever they desire to issue forth from thence, they are brought back thither. Unto them it is said: Taste the torment of the Fire which ye used to deny.” (32:20)

6:46 But as for those who disbelieved in Allah, their dwellings, to which they will return in the Hereafter, are the Fire,

7:01 which you used to deny in the world, for Allah has prepared it for those who associate partners with Him.

7:08 “And verily We make them taste the lower punishment before the greater, that haply they may return.” (32:21)

7:19 And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment—the trials of the worldly life—

7:24 whether it be the severity of famine, slaughter, or calamities that afflict them,

7:30 apart from the greater punishment of the Day of Resurrection, so that they might return and repent through the experience of the nearer punishment.

7:39 “And who doth greater wrong than he who is reminded of the revelations of his Lord, then turneth from them. Lo! We shall requite the guilty.” (32:22)

7:48 “And who doth greater wrong than he who is reminded of the revelations of his Lord, then turneth from them. Lo! We shall requite the guilty.” (32:22)

7:55 And who is more unjust to his own soul

7:57 than one who is reminded by Allah through His proofs, the verses of His Book, and His messengers,

8:02 then turns away from all of that?

8:05 Indeed, We will take retribution from those who have committed sins and perpetrated evil deeds.

8:12 “We verily gave Moses the Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel.” (32:23)

8:21 And We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel.

8:28 We gave Moses the Torah, just as We gave you the Criterion, O Muhammad.

8:34 So do not be in doubt of meeting Him.

8:38 And We made Moses a guide for the Children of Israel, that they might be guided by following him,

8:43 and attain the truth by emulating him.

8:47 “And when they became steadfast and believed firmly in Our revelations, We appointed from among them leaders who guided by Our command.” (32:24)

9:00 And We made from among the Children of Israel leaders and guides in righteousness who are followed,

9:06 who lead their followers as long as they remain patient in Our obedience,

9:10 and restrain themselves from the pleasures and desires of the world,

9:15 and were people of certainty in what Our proofs directed them toward,

9:19 and people of confirmation of the truth that was made clear to them.

9:24 “Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ.” (32:25)

9:34 Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, will judge between all His creation on the Day of Resurrection

9:39 regarding matters of religion, the Resurrection,

9:44 and the reward and punishment about which they used to differ in the world.

9:46 He will distinguish between them with a decisive judgment,

9:50 by decreeing Paradise for the people of truth,

9:53 and the Fire for the people of falsehood.

10:13 Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them,

10:19 while they walk through their lands and territories?

10:21 Like 'Ad and Thamud.

10:24 Indeed, in the empty dwellings of the generations We destroyed before these deniers

10:30 are signs for them.

10:32 Do they not hear the exhortations of Allah and His reminding them of His verses?

10:54 Do they not see?

10:58 Do these deniers of the Resurrection after death not see

11:03 that by Our power We drive water to the dry, hard land that has no vegetation,

11:10 and bring forth by that water which We drive to it green crops from which their livestock eat,

11:17 and by which their bodies are nourished, and thus they live?

11:21 Do they not see that with their own eyes?

11:24 So that they may know that the Power by which I did that

11:28 makes it not difficult for Me to resurrect the dead thereby.

11:41 These polytheists say,

11:44 "When will this judgment come between us and you,

11:48 if you are truthful in what you say,"

11:51 regarding our being punished for our denial of Muhammad, peace be upon him?

12:13 Say, O Muhammad, to them:

12:16 "The day of judgment and the arrival of the punishment—

12:18 the faith of those who disbelieved in Allah and His verses will not benefit them if they believe at that time,

12:25 nor will they be granted respite for repentance and reflection."

12:41 So turn away, O Muhammad, from these polytheists,

12:44 and wait for what Allah will do with them.

12:47 Indeed, they are waiting for the punishment We have promised them and the arrival of the Hour.
