0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:12 Surat Al-Sajdah
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 Say, “The Angel of Death, who has appointed you, will cause you to die, then to your Lord you will be returned.”
0:34 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists
0:37 Your number is fulfilled by taking your souls, the Angel of Death, who has been appointed to take your souls
0:44 Then to your Lord on the Day of Resurrection you will be returned alive
0:49 So the good among you will be rewarded with his good deeds, and the evildoer with his bad deeds
0:56 If only you could see, when the criminals bowed their heads before their Lord, our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us to do righteousness. We are certain.
1:14 Oh Muhammad, if only you could see these criminals
1:17 When they bowed their heads before their Lord, ashamed of Him, they said:
1:23 O our Lord, we have seen what we used to lie about as a result of Your punishment
1:28 We heard you confirm what your messengers were commanding us to do in this world
1:34 Bring us back to this world where we will work in obedience to you
1:38 We have now realized that we were ignorant of Your Oneness in this world
1:44 And it is not appropriate for anyone but you to be worshipped
1:54 But what I say is true: I will fill Hell with heaven and all people
2:09 And if We had wished, O Muhammad, We could have come to these polytheists of God among your people
2:15 And other people who disbelieve in God guide her and grant her success in believing in God
2:21 But it was necessary for me to punish them
2:24 I will fill Hell with heaven and all people with sins and disbelief in God among them
2:33 So taste what you have forgotten about this day of yours. Indeed, we have forgotten you
2:41 And taste the torment of eternity for what you did
2:49 These polytheists will be told if they enter Hell
2:53 Taste God's punishment because you forgot the meeting of this day of yours
2:58 Today we left you in Hell
3:01 They are also told
3:03 Taste a torment in which you will abide forever
3:08 Because you used to do disobedience to God in this world
3:13 Only those who believe in Our verses are those who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and glorify the praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
3:29 What is true of our arguments and the verses of our book
3:33 Except for the people who, if they are reminded of it and are exhorted
3:37 They bowed down to God, prostrating with their faces humiliated
3:42 They glorified God in their prostration
3:45 They absolve him of what the unbelievers describe him as
3:49 They do this and they are not too arrogant to prostrate to Him
3:53 Praise and humiliate Him
4:13 Step aside from those who believe in the signs of God
4:19 It rises from their beds where they lie down to sleep
4:23 They do not sleep because of the night prayers
4:27 They pray to their Lord in fear and hope that He will pardon them
4:32 And from what We have provided them, they spend in the cause of God
4:36 They fulfill the rights that God has imposed on them
4:43 No soul will learn what is hidden from them as a reward for their eyes
4:52 Reward for what they did
4:59 No soul knows another soul
5:02 God did not hide from her those whose description Jalthanahu described in these two verses
5:09 Which will bring their eyes closer to him in Paradise on the Day of Resurrection
5:13 As a reward for their deeds that they did in this world
5:20 Is he who is a believer like he who is a transgressor? They are not equal
5:30 Is this lying infidel like this believer in God and the one who believes in His promise and threat?
5:37 No, the disbelievers in God and the believers do not treat each other equally with Him
5:44 As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, they will have Gardens of refuge for what they used to do
6:00 As for those who believed God and His Messenger and did what God and His Messenger commanded them
6:07 They will have gardens of dwellings in which they will live in the afterlife and where they will seek refuge
6:13 They sent down what He sent down to them as a reward from Him for what they did in this world in obedience to Him
6:22 As for those who are disobedient, their abode is the Fire
6:28 Whatever they wanted to get out of it, they were put back in it and they were told to taste it
6:36 And it was said to them, “Taste the torment of the Fire, which you used to deny.”
6:46 As for those who disbelieve in God, their abode to which they will seek refuge in the Hereafter is Hell
6:53 Whatever they wanted to get out of it, they were put back in it and they were told, “Taste the torment of the Fire.”
7:01 What you used to deny in this world is that God prepared it for those who associate polytheism with Him
7:08 And We will certainly make them taste the lesser torment rather than the greater torment, so that they may return
7:19 And We will make them taste the punishment that is less than the calamities in this world
7:24 Either severe famine, murder, or misfortunes befall them
7:30 Without the greater torment on the Day of Resurrection, so that they may return and repent by being tormented by the lesser torment
7:39 Who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the signs of his Lord and then turns away from them?
7:48 We are vengeful criminals
7:55 Which people are more unjust to themselves?
7:57 Of those whom God has advised with His proofs, His Book, and His Messengers
8:02 Then turn away from all of that
8:05 We are among those who committed sins and committed evil deeds, taking revenge
8:12 We gave Moses the Book, so do not be in doubt about meeting him
8:21 And We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel
8:28 And We gave Moses the Torah just as We gave you the Criterion, O Muhammad
8:34 Don't be in any doubt about meeting him
8:38 We made Moses a guide for the children of Israel, who were guided by following him
8:43 And they achieve the truth by imitating it
8:47 And We made of them imams who guided by Our command when they were patient and had certain faith in Our signs
9:00 And We made of the Children of Israel imams and leaders in goodness to be followed
9:06 They guide their followers if they are patient in obeying us
9:10 They distanced themselves from the pleasures and desires of this world
9:15 They were certain of what our arguments showed them
9:19 And people who believe what has been revealed to them of the truth
9:24 It is your Lord who will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding what they differed over
9:34 Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, will make clear to all His creation on the Day of Resurrection
9:39 They differed in matters of religion and resurrection in this world
9:44 And reward and punishment
9:46 He separates them with a separate judgement
9:50 By offering Paradise to the people of truth
9:53 And for the people of falsehood is Hell
10:13 Haven't they been overtaken by our destruction over the past centuries before them?
10:19 They walk in their country and their land
10:21 Like Ad and Thamud
10:24 Indeed, in the emptiness of the dwellings of the centuries whom We destroyed before these deniers
10:30 For signs for them
10:32 Do they not hear God’s warnings and His reminding them of His verses?
10:54 Will they not see?
10:58 Have these deniers not seen the resurrection after death?
11:03 It is our ability to bring water to the dry, thick land that has no plants
11:10 With that water that we drive to it, we produce green crops that their livestock eat from
11:17 Their bodies are nourished with it and they live with it
11:21 Don't they see it with their own eyes?
11:24 So they know that the power with which they did it
11:28 It is not impossible for me to revive the dead with it
11:41 These polytheists say to God
11:44 When will this ruling come between us and you?
11:48 If you are honest in what you say
11:51 That we are being punished for denying Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
12:13 Tell them, O Muhammad
12:16 The day of judgment and the coming of torment
12:18 The faith that they proclaim at that time will not benefit those who disbelieve in God and His signs
12:25 Nor do they delay repentance and review
12:41 So, O Muhammad, turn away from these polytheists
12:44 And wait for what God will do with them
12:47 They are waiting for the torment we promise them and the coming of the Hour
