Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:07
It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:12
Surah Al-Ahqaf
0:15
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23
Protector
0:26
Download the book from God the Mighty, the Wise
0:34
We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth and for a specified term
0:44
And those who disbelieve turn away from what they are warned
0:50
Hamim
0:52
This is the revelation of the Qur’an from God Almighty in His revenge on His enemies
0:58
The wise man is in his management of his creation
1:01
We did not create the heavens and the earth and all the different parts of the world between them
1:07
Except to establish justice in creation
1:10
Otherwise, there is a deadline for all of that known to Him
1:14
It will annihilate him if he reaches it
1:16
And those who denied the oneness of God
1:19
They turn away from God's warning
1:23
They do not learn from it and do not think about it
1:28
Say, "Have you seen what you call upon other than God? Show me what they have created from the earth."
1:40
Or do they have a trap in the heavens?
1:44
Give me a book before this or some traces of knowledge if you are truthful
1:58
Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists in God
2:03
Have you seen, O people, the gods that you worship instead of God?
2:08
Show me what they created from the earth
2:11
Or are the gods that you worship, O people, a polytheism with God in the seven heavens?
2:18
Thus, you will also have an excuse in your worship
2:23
One of my arguments for devoting worship to my Lord is that He has no partner in creating it
2:30
Give me a book that came from God before this Qur’an
2:35
That whatever gods and idols you worship were created from the earth
2:40
Or that they have a partner with God in the heavens
2:44
This will be an excuse for you to worship her
2:49
Or bring me the rest of the knowledge that will lead to the knowledge of the validity of what you say about this
2:56
If you are sincere in your claim, it will have what you claim
3:01
Who is more astray than he who calls upon other than God?
3:06
Whoever does not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection
3:11
They are heedless of their supplication
3:16
What servant is more misguided than a servant who calls upon gods other than God?
3:22
His prayers are never answered
3:25
And their gods are heedless of their supplications
3:28
Because she does not hear, does not speak, or understands
3:32
And when people are gathered together, they will have enemies
3:39
And they were disbelievers in their worship
3:44
And when people gather on the Day of Resurrection
3:48
These gods that they called in this world were their enemies
3:53
Their gods, which they worshiped in this world, were ungrateful in their worship
3:59
Because they say on the Day of Resurrection
4:02
We did not command them to worship us
4:05
We disavow you of them, O our Lord
4:08
And when Our clear verses are recited to them
4:13
Those who disbelieved spoke the truth
4:16
Those who disbelieved spoke the truth
4:19
When this came to them, this is clear magic
4:26
And when our clear and luminous arguments are read to these polytheists
4:33
Those who denied the oneness of God spoke of the truth when it came to them from God
4:39
This Qur’an is a deception that deceives us
4:42
He seizes the hearts of those who hear him as an act of magic that makes clear to those who contemplate it that it is magic
4:49
Or do they say he fabricated it?
4:54
Say, “If I fabricate it, then you have nothing for me from God.”
5:00
He knows best what you are discussing. He is sufficient as a witness between me and you
5:08
He is the Forgiving, the Merciful
5:12
Or do these polytheists say they are from the Quraysh?
5:16
Muhammad fabricated this Qur’an, so you consider it a lie
5:21
Tell them, Muhammad
5:23
If you slander him and tell a lie about God
5:27
You will not be able to protect me from God's punishment if He punishes me for my slander
5:32
My Lord knows best what you say among yourselves in this Qur’an
5:37
God is sufficient as a witness against me and against what you say about your denial of me
5:43
God is Forgiving and Merciful to them by not punishing them for it after they repent from it
5:50
Say, “I am not an innovator among the messengers, and I do not know what will be done to me or to you.”
5:59
I follow only what is revealed to me, and I am only a clear warner
6:08
Say, O Muhammad, you were not the first of God’s messengers that He sent to His creation
6:15
There were many messengers before me who were sent to nations before you
6:21
I do not know what will be done to me or to you in this world
6:25
I will come out just as I brought out the prophets before me
6:29
Or I will be killed as the prophets were killed before me
6:33
A nation of liars or a nation of truthfulness?
6:37
Tell them: I do not follow in what I command you except the revelation of God
6:42
I am only a warner to you, warning you of God’s punishment
6:47
He has made clear to you a warning and made clear to you his supplication for your advice
6:53
Say: Have you seen if it is from God and you disbelieve in it?
7:01
A witness from the children of Israel testified to something similar
7:10
So he believed and you were arrogant
7:13
God does not guide unjust people
7:19
Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists
7:22
Have you seen, O people, if this Qur’an was from God? He sent it down to me
7:28
And you lied to him
7:30
Abdullah bin Salam, one of the children of Israel, testified to such a Qur’an
7:36
It is the Torah
7:38
This is his testimony that Muhammad is written in the Torah that he is a prophet
7:44
The Jews find it written in the Torah
7:47
As it is written in the Qur’an that he is a prophet
7:51
Abdullah bin Salam believed
7:54
And you were too proud to believe
7:57
God does not enable the truth to reach the disbelieving people
8:02
Those who wronged themselves by disbelieving in Him
8:07
And those who disbelieve say to those who believe
8:10
If it were good, they would not have preceded us to it
8:15
And if they are not guided by it, they will say: This is an old lie
8:23
Those who denied the prophecy of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
8:29
From the Jews of the Children of Israel to those who believed in him
8:33
If your belief in Muhammad for what he brought to you were good
8:38
What you have preceded us into believing
8:41
And since they were not guided by Muhammad and what he brought from God
8:46
They will say, “This Qur’an is a lie from the old news of the ancients.”
8:52
And before him was the book of Moses as an imam and his mercy
8:59
This is a book authenticated in Arabic language to warn those who have wronged
9:12
And good news for the doers of good
9:16
Before this book is the Book of Moses, which is the Torah
9:20
An imam for the children of Israel to follow
9:24
And as a mercy to them, We sent it down to them
9:27
This Qur’an confirms the Book of Moses that Muhammad is a sent prophet
9:33
In an Arabic language, this book warns those who have wronged themselves by disbelieving in God
9:40
It is good news for those who obeyed God and did good in their faith
9:45
Those who said, “Our Lord is God,” and then remained steadfast
9:53
They have no fear, nor do they grieve
10:02
These are the companions of Paradise, abiding therein as a reward for what they did
10:17
Indeed, those who say, “Our Lord is God, besides Whom there is no god.”
10:23
Then they remained firm in their belief in that and did not confuse it with polytheism
10:28
They have no fear of the terror of the Day of Resurrection
10:32
Nor do they grieve for what they left behind after their death
10:37
Those who said this are the people of Paradise and will remain there forever
10:44
As a reward from us for their good deeds that they did in this world
10:52
We have enjoined upon man to be kind to his parents
10:58
His mother bore him unwillingly and gave birth to him unwillingly
11:04
His pregnancy and weaning are thirty months
11:09
Even when he reached his peak and reached forty years
11:15
He said, “Lord, enable me to be thankful for Your blessings that You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents.”
11:26
And to do good deeds that will please you, and to do good for my descendants
11:36
I repent to you and I am one of the Muslims
11:44
We enjoined upon the son of Adam that he be kind to his parents and that he be with them during the days of their lives
11:51
His mother carried him in her womb with difficulty and gave birth to him with difficulty
11:56
His mother carried him, weaned him from breastfeeding, and weaned him from drinking milk
12:03
Thirty months
12:05
Even when he reached his peak, which was thirty-three years
12:10
He reached forty years old when God’s proof was complete against him
12:15
He knew what was due to God from the right to honor my parents
12:19
This human being said
12:21
Lord, tempt me to thank Your blessings that You have bestowed upon me
12:25
In making Him known to You alone and acting in obedience to You
12:30
I was blessed and inspired by my father before me
12:34
Encourage me to do good deeds that please You
12:39
And set my affairs straight for me among the descendants of those whom You have given me
12:44
I repent of the sins that I committed
12:48
I am one of those who submit to you in obedience and surrender to your commands and prohibitions
12:54
Those from whom we accept the best of what they do
13:06
And we will forgive their bad deeds among the companions of Paradise
13:13
The promise of honesty they were promising
13:19
These are the ones whose best deeds in this world will be accepted from them
13:26
He will reward them with it
13:28
He forgives them for their bad deeds and does not punish them for them
13:33
We do that to them as we do to the companions and people of Paradise
13:38
God promised them this promise, there is no doubt about it
13:42
Which they were promised by God Almighty
13:47
And he said to his parents, “Do you think I should go out?”
13:56
The centuries have passed before me
14:00
They are asking God for help
14:06
Woe to you, I hope God's promise is true
14:11
God's promise is true
14:14
He says: These are nothing but legends of the ancients
14:20
Who told his parents that they called him to believe in God
14:25
Dirty for you both
14:27
Do you promise me to come out of my grave?
14:30
Centuries of nations have passed before me
14:33
They perished, but none of them were resurrected
14:36
His parents are crying out to God for him to believe in God and acknowledge the resurrection
14:42
And they say to him
14:44
Woe to you, you believed God's promise
14:47
The promise of God to His creation that He would raise them from their graves is true, beyond doubt
14:54
So the enemy of God says, answering his parents
14:58
What is this that you are telling me that I am an envoy after my death?
15:03
Except for the falsehoods written by the ancient people
15:08
Those who have the right to have a say in nations
15:16
It had been devoid of jinn and humans before them
15:24
They were losers
15:28
These are the ones who must be punished by God
15:33
In those whom God’s punishment befell from among the nations who passed before them, including the jinn and mankind
15:39
Indeed, they were the ones who were deceived by selling guidance to misguidance
15:44
And for every degree of what they did
15:51
And He will recompense them for their deeds, and they will not be wronged
15:57
And for both of these groups
16:00
Team of belief in God and the Last Day
16:04
And the team of disbelief in God and the Last Day
16:07
There will be stations and ranks with God on the Day of Resurrection based on the good and bad deeds they did in this world
16:15
And they are not all wronged
16:18
The offender is not punished except as a punishment for his sin
16:23
He does not bear the guilt of anyone else
16:26
The benefactor among them does not underestimate the reward of his benevolence
16:31
And on the Day when those who disbelieve will be exposed to the Fire, you have taken away your good deeds in your worldly life
16:43
And you enjoyed it, today you will be rewarded with a humiliating torment
16:52
Because you were arrogant on earth without right
17:03
And because you were disobedient
17:07
And the day those who disbelieved in God will be exposed to the Fire
17:12
It is said to them: You have consumed your good things in your worldly life and enjoyed them
17:19
Today, O disbelievers, you will be rewarded with the torment of humiliation that humiliates you
17:25
Because you were arrogant in this world on the face of the earth
17:29
So you refuse to worship Him sincerely
17:32
And since you were disobeying Him, you disobeyed Him
17:37
