And do not have intercourse with your wives while you are confining yourselves to the worship of Allah in the mosques.

These things that I have clarified—

Of eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse—

And commanded you to avoid:

Do not approach them,

Lest you deserve thereby the punishment deserved by the one who transgresses My limits,

Opposes My command, and commits acts of disobedience against Me.

And just as I have clarified to you, O mankind, My obligatory duties upon you regarding fasting,

And made known to you its limits and its times,

And what is incumbent upon you concerning it when resident, traveling, or ill,

So likewise do I clarify My rulings, My lawful and My unlawful,

And My boundaries, My commands, and My prohibitions in My Book and My revelation,

And through the words of My Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to mankind,

That they may guard against My prohibitions and acts of disobedience,

And avoid My displeasure and My wrath.

“And eat not up your property among yourselves in vanity, nor seek by it to gain the hearing of the judges that ye may knowingly devour a portion of the property of others wrongfully.” (2:188)

And present it before the judges.
