In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:03
Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08
It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammar
0:14
Surah An-Naml
0:18
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23
The only answer from his people was that they said, “Expel the family of Lot from your village.”
0:33
They are people who purify themselves
0:39
Lot's people did not have an answer with their permission except that they said to each other
0:46
Expel the family of Lot from your village. They are people who are purifying themselves from what we do in committing the remembrance
0:56
So We saved him and his family, except his wife, whom We destined to be among those who left behind
1:04
And We rained upon them a rain, but the rain of those who were warned was poor
1:14
So We saved Lot and his family, except for his wife, from Our torment when We made him suffer them
1:21
His wife, by our estimation, we made her among the rest
1:26
And We rained down upon them from the sky stones of shale
1:31
That rain was disastrous for the people whom God had warned of His punishment for disobeying Him
1:53
Say, O Muhammad, thank God for His blessings upon us
1:58
And security from His punishment for those whom He chose for His Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
2:05
He made his companions and ministers follow the religion
2:09
Say, O Muhammad, to those to whom We have made their deeds beautified
2:14
Oh God, who bestowed upon His friends this blessing that He related to you in this Surah
2:21
He destroyed his enemies with what he destroyed them with
2:25
It is better for you to associate with idols that neither benefit you nor harm you
2:56
There is no shedding of joy whose trees it is not for you to grow
3:03
Do they have any god with God? Rather, they are a people who act justly
3:12
Worshiping whatever idols you worship that do no harm or benefit is good
3:19
Or the worship of the One who created the heavens and the earth
3:23
And I send down rain for you from the sky
3:26
It may be possible that he was aiming for the springs that he opened on the earth
3:31
Then We produced with the water sent down from the sky orchards with a beautiful appearance
3:37
For it would not have been yours had He not sent down water upon you from the sky
3:42
The power to grow the trees of these gardens
3:47
Umm Abboud, with God, created that and sent down water from the sky
3:52
So I grow gardens for you with it
3:55
Rather, these polytheists are people who stray from the truth
3:59
They deliberately treat him unfairly for this reason
4:03
He made the earth a resting place and made rivers through it
4:15
And He made for it mountains and made a barrier between the two seas
4:21
Is there a god with God? Nay, most of them do not know
4:28
Worshiping whatever you associate with your Lord is better
4:34
Or is it the One who made the earth a resting place for you to settle upon?
4:40
And He made for you rivers among them, and He made for them mountains, which are the stability of the mountains
4:47
He created a barrier between the two seas, the fresh and the salt, lest one of them corrupt the other
4:54
Is there a god besides God who did these things, so you included Him in your worship of Him?
5:01
Rather, most of these polytheists do not know the extent of God’s greatness
5:06
Or who responds to the distressed woman when she calls upon him, and removes the evil, and makes you successors of the earth? A god with God. Little do you remember?
5:33
Or is what you associate with God better? Or the One who responds to the distressed woman when she calls upon Him and removes the evil that has befallen her?
5:42
After your princes on earth, there will be living caliphs among you who will succeed them
5:48
Is there a god besides God other than Him who does these things, but you have associated others with God because you rarely mention or consider His arguments?
6:01
Or who guides you in the darkness of land and sea and who sends the winds bringing good tidings? His mercy is the religion of My Hand. Is there a god with God? God is exalted above what they associate with God.
6:26
Or is it better for you to associate with God, or for He who guides you in the darkness of land and sea when you lose your way therein and the paths therein become dark for you?
6:39
And the one who sends the winds ahead of the rain, who revives the dead waters of the earth. Is there any god besides God other than God? He will do any of that to you, so you should worship Him.
6:50
To God belongs glory and exaltation above the polytheism with which you associate it, and your worship with Him is what you worship
6:58
Or the one who initiates creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? Is there a god with God? Say, “Bring your proof if you are truthful.”
7:20
Or is what you associate with others, O people, better? Or the One who initiates creation and creates it without a source, then annihilates it if He wills, then restores it if He wills?
7:33
And the one who provides for you from the heavens and the earth, then sends down from this rain and grows from this plant for your sustenance, is there any god besides God other than God who does that?
7:46
And if they claim that a god other than God does that, or something of it, then say to them, O Muhammad, present your proof that anything other than God does that, if you are truthful in your claim.
8:01
Say: No one in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except God, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected
8:14
Say, O Muhammad, to those who ask you among the polytheists about the Hour: No one in the heavens and earth knows the unseen, the knowledge of which God has reserved except God.
8:26
And none of His creation in the heavens and earth knows when they will be resurrected from their graves for the Day of Judgment
8:34
Nay, when their knowledge of the Hereafter is obscured, nay, they are in doubt about it, nay, they are blind to it
8:48
They do not know when they will be resurrected or whether their knowledge will continue with the knowledge of the afterlife. Rather, their knowledge has disappeared from it and gone astray, and they have not attained it nor realized it.
9:00
Rather, these polytheists are in doubt about its resurrection. They are not certain of it and do not believe it. Rather, they are aware of its resurrection
9:11
And those who disbelieved said, “When we are dust and our fathers are dust, then shall we come out?”
9:22
This was promised to us and our fathers before. These are nothing but legends of the ancients
9:32
Those who disbelieved in God said, “Surely we will emerge from our graves alive in our appearance after our death, after we were dust in them.”
9:45
This was promised to us by Muhammad, and they promised this to our fathers, but we did not see that as a reality
9:54
They said, “This promise is nothing but the lies that the ancients wrote in their books, so they confirmed it in them and spoke of it without it being true.”
10:06
Say: Travel through the land and see what was the end of the criminals, and do not grieve for them, and do not be distressed by what they plot
10:22
Say, O Muhammad, to these disbelievers, “Walk through the earth and look at the homes of those who were disbelievers before you, the messengers of God and their dwellings. How are they?”
10:36
Didn't God destroy it and destroy its people by denying their messengers, for that was the consequence of their crime?
10:44
This is the law of your Lord for all who follow their path. Do not be sad, O Muhammad, at the turning away of these polytheists from you, and do not be discouraged by their plotting against you, for God will help you against them and destroy them by killing them with the sword.
11:03
And they say: When will this promise come, if you are truthful?
11:10
Say, “Perhaps there will be some recompense for you that you are in a hurry for.”
11:17
And the polytheists of your people say: O Muhammad, when will this promise that you will return us from the torment come to pass? If you are truthful in what you are returning us with, say to them, O Muhammad, perhaps some of the ones you are hastening from the punishment of God will come closer to you.
11:38
Indeed, your Lord is gracious to people, but most of them are not grateful
11:49
And your Lord knows what is in their breasts and what they declare
11:58
Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, is Most Benevolent to people by refraining from punishing them quickly, and is Most Kind to them
12:08
But most of them do not thank him for that and join him in worship
12:14
Indeed, your Lord knows the consciences of the breasts of His creation, the secrets of their souls, and the openness of their affairs
12:22
And He is the One who counts them until He rewards them all with goodness as kindness and with recompense for evil
12:30
There is nothing hidden in the heavens and the earth except in a clear book
12:42
There is no hidden secret hidden from sight in heaven and earth except in the Mother of the Book in which our Lord established everything that exists until the Day of Resurrection.
12:56
It will be clear to anyone who looks at it and reads what is in it that our Lord has proven
13:01
This Qur’an tells the Children of Israel most of what they differ about
13:12
This Qur’an that I revealed to you, O Muhammad, narrates to the Children of Israel the truth about most of the things about which they differed
13:24
This is like the matter in which they differed regarding the matter of Jesus, so follow him and acknowledge what is in it, for he guides you to the path of guidance.
13:35
Indeed, it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. Indeed, your Lord judges between them by His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the All-Knowing
13:51
This Qur’an is a clarification from God in which He made clear the truth regarding matters of their religion in which His creation differed
14:01
And a mercy to whoever believes in it and acts according to what is in it. Indeed, your Lord judges between the differing among the Children of Israel with His judgment regarding them
14:11
So He takes revenge on the invalid and rewards the doer, and your Lord, the Mighty, takes revenge on the invalid among them and others. He knows what is right and the doer is among these and others.
14:26
So trust in God that you are upon the clear truth
14:34
So entrust your affairs to God, O Muhammad, for you are upon the clear truth to whoever contemplates it and thinks rationally, so do not be saddened by the denial of those who lie to you.
14:47
You do not hear death, nor do you hear deaf people praying if they turn away
14:58
You are not so blind to their misguidance that you only listen to those who believe in Our verses, for they are Muslims
15:13
O Muhammad, you cannot understand the truth from God’s imprint on his heart, so He killed him
15:21
You cannot hear that from someone who God is deaf to hearing, if they turn away from it and do not listen to the truth or ponder it.
15:33
O Muhammad, I am not a guide who is blind to the truth and their misguidance
15:38
You cannot understand the truth and make anyone aware of it except those who believe in Our verses, for those hear what you say and reflect on it.
