2:00 "Does your Lord have daughters, while you have sons?"

2:08 "The angels are the daughters of Allah," and they used to worship them.
2:13 Or did these polytheists who make such claims witness,
2:16 That the angels are the daughters of Allah?
2:18 Did I create the angels as females, and did I create them as humans?
2:22 Did they witness this creation?
2:25 And did they describe the angels as being human?
2:29 “Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say:” (37:151)
2:35 “Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie.” (37:152)
2:42 Behold, these polytheists, in their falsehood, say:
2:47 "Allah has begotten," and they are indeed liars in that claim.
2:53 Has He chosen daughters over sons?
2:57 What is the matter with you? How do you judge?
3:01 Will you not remember?
3:06 Has Allah chosen, O people, daughters over sons?
3:10 Evil is the judgment you make, O people.
3:13 That Allah should have daughters while you have sons.
3:17 Yet you are not pleased with daughters for yourselves.
3:20 Will you not reflect on what you are saying?
3:24 So that you may recognize its error and desist from saying it.
3:28 “Or have ye a clear warrant?” (37:156)
3:33 “Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful.” (37:157)
3:41 Do you have any proof whose validity is clear to those who hear it, regarding the truth of what you say?
3:47 Then bring your proof from a book that has come to you from Allah,
3:51 If you are truthful that you have any evidence for that.
3:56 They have established a lineage between Him and the jinn.
4:02 But the jinn know well that they will be brought forth [for judgment].
4:08 Exalted is Allah above what they describe.
4:13 Except for the chosen servants of Allah.
4:19 These polytheists established a lineage between Allah and the jinn.
4:24 Some of them said:
4:26 "Allah and Iblis are brothers."
4:29 It is also said that they meant they claimed the angels were the daughters of Allah.
4:34 And they said the jinn are the angels.
4:39 The jinn know well that they will be brought forth to the punishment of the Fire.
4:44 This is a declaration of Allah’s transcendence and His innocence from what these polytheists attribute to Him.
4:50 The jinn know well that those who said,
4:54 "The angels are the daughters of Allah,"
4:57 Will be brought forth to the punishment.
4:59 Except for the servants of Allah whom He has chosen for His mercy and created for His Paradise.
5:06 For you and what you worship.
5:11 “Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him.” (37:162)
5:16 “Save him who is to burn in hell.” (37:163)
5:21 For you, O polytheists who associate partners with Allah, and what you worship of gods and idols,
5:27 You are not able to lead anyone astray regarding what you worship besides Allah,
5:32 Except for those whom Allah has decreed will reach the Hellfire.
5:37 “There is not one of us but hath his known position.” (37:164)
5:44 And indeed, we are those who stand in ranks, and we are those who glorify Him.
5:58 There is not one among us, the company of angels, but has a known station in the heavens.
6:04 We are those who stand in ranks for Allah, for His worship.
6:08 And we are those who pray to Him.
6:12 And they used to say:
6:16 “If we had but a reminder from the men of old” (37:168)
6:22 “We would be single-minded slaves of Allah.” (37:169)
6:28 “Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know.” (37:170)
6:35 The polytheists of Quraysh used to say before Muhammad, peace be upon him, was sent to them:
6:43 "If only we had a book sent down from heaven like the Torah and the Gospel,"
6:49 "Or a prophet had come to us like the one who came to the Jews and the Christians,"
6:53 "We would have been the chosen servants of Allah whom He selected for His worship and chose for His Paradise."
7:00 But when the Reminder (the Qur'an) came to them from Allah, they disbelieved in it.
7:04 They will soon know, when they come before Me, what punishment they will receive for their disbelief in it.
7:12 Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers.
7:18 That they are the ones who will be helped.
7:24 “And that Our host, they verily would be the victors.” (37:173)
7:30 Our decree and judgment have already passed for Our messengers,
7:34 That they are the ones who will have victory and triumph through arguments.
7:38 And Our party, the people of Our allegiance, are the ones who will have success and prosperity over those who disbelieve in Us.
7:46 “So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile,” (37:174)
7:49 Watch them, for they will soon see.
7:54 Do they seek to hasten Our punishment?
7:58 “But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned.” (37:177)
8:08 So turn away from them until the time Our punishment arrives.
8:11 And watch them, for they will soon see what befalls them of Our punishment.
8:16 Do they seek to hasten the descent of Our punishment upon them, O Muhammad?
8:21 When the punishment of Allah descends upon these people,
8:25 Then evil is the morning for those who were warned by Our messenger but did not believe him.
8:31 “Withdraw from them awhile” (37:178)
8:36 And watch, for they will soon see.
8:41 And turn away, O Muhammad, from these polytheists,
8:44 Until the time Allah permits their destruction.
8:47 And watch them, for they will soon see what befalls them of Our punishment.
8:53 “Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)” (37:180)
9:01 And peace be upon the messengers.
9:06 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
9:13 A declaration of your Lord’s transcendence, O Muhammad, and His innocence,
9:17 The Lord of power and might,
9:19 From what these fabricators describe in their saying, "Allah has begotten,"
9:24 And their saying, "The angels are the daughters of Allah,"
9:27 And other such polytheism and fabrication against their Lord.
9:32 And it is a security from Allah for the messengers whom He sent to their nations,
9:37 From the terror of the Day of the Greatest Punishment,
9:40 And from any other evil.
9:42 And praise be to Allah, Lord of all creation.
9:45 Purely and exclusively, to the exclusion of all else.
